Help. I just found out i still have my my old s7 edge which is currently lock with forgotten google account, i wanna restore and give it to my nephew. I just freshly wipe and erase all the data.
I forgot what current Android version it is, base on my knowledge flashing different ROM will remove that security. Its a galaxy s7 edge verizon and i live in Philippines. Any help or tips what to do with this device to be able to use it again.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5300 and i need to be able to debrand name(Mobistar) from my samsung galaxy S5300.
I have installed already firmware with Odin and everything worked perfectly but i get always to read in KIES at firmware: S5300XXLF5/S5300OXXLF5/S5300XXLF5/S5300XXLF5 (MST) and MST stand for brand name of the provider and i can't get rid of it with installation of new firmware.
So i really need help to tell me HOW I CAN DEBRAND NAME FROM MY SAMSUNG GALAXY S5300(POCKET)?
Please can anyobody help me with this problem? And simply installing new firmware doesn't help!!! Already tried it MANY times.
So it is branded somewhere in the phone with name of the provider and i want to get rid of it.

I guess it is branded in the phone memory. Because i can't erase(format) system storage. Even after a hard reset there is still kept 0.89GB system storage. So what i got to do to format or erase that systemstorage?
I was successful in installing SM930T software on my S7 Verizon phone using odin. My question is how should I back up my phone with Smart Switch. Should I use my old Samsung on5 T Mobile phone to back up or should I use my recent backup of my S7 Verizon phone? I used the S7 Verizon phone for 2 weeks (which I initially backed up from the on5) but I was concerned that backing up from the Verizon phone might cause problems. Thanks!
I tried installing both the Pixel Experience and Lineage OS 16 and in both cases my sim was detected but the data doesn't work. I'm able to make and receive calls but I'm not having any luck getting data to work. I'm using T-Mobile (USA) and have checked the APN to ensure that it's correct. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

He died in April .... we closed the contract. All his accounts are closed.
Now trying to set up a phone as a PAYG on Three for my daughter.
When you boot it up it needs an unlock code - to fill the NUL request form in on Vodafoneyou need the IMEI which I don't have
I can't use *#06# as the phone comes up as locked and needs a PIN. (which I don't have)
Hrs of fun with Vodafone support and advised carrying out hardware reset of phone.
Did that .... it wipes ... starts config & connects to WiFi but then advises it was an unauthorised reset and needs previous Google account details - which I don't have.
So 2 issues - I can't get the phone to clean state and I can't get phone's IMEI
Anybody know how to proceed.
