How to reset Galaxy S4's pattern with a CyanogedMod installed? - Galaxy S 4 General

I have an old Galaxy S4 that I need to get in again after I forgot the pattern unlock.
The phone has a CyanogedMod 13 installed in it from 2014. But when I got into recovery mode, there is no option to use a File Manager to delete the pattern unlock file.
This is the recovery mode, CWM-based Recovery v6.0.5.1. I have linked a picture I uploaded to Imgur.

I've tried connecting the phone to my Mac but it simply doesn't get recognized.
Can anyone help me, please?

Hi,
I see 2 choices, since recovery works...
Either download a rom to a micro SD card with another device... Put the card in your phone and flash the rom from it.
Or use Odin to flash your stock firmware.
Here's a frequently asked questions thread in the S3 section. You didn't specify your carrier version/model number, so be sure to use files made for your device for flashing.

Good luck!

Need to access adb on locked device

I'm new here to XDA, but tutorials here have helped me so much in the past. I was hoping you guys could help me with something.
My friend's girlfriend's dad passed away recently, and the family (knowing I'm a "tech wiz") asked me to remove the lock screen pin without deleting the files on his Verizon Galaxy S3 (SCH-i535).
ADB is not enabled in the operating system. I tried stock recovery, but it does not have adb either. I tried to use odin to flash custom recovery (TWRP 2.8.7 and Odin 3.09) but I got the error " secure check fail: recovery ". I had a spare s3 (sprint) lying around and was successfully able to flash TWRP and pull the internal storage and remove the pin on that device. Neither device is rooted.
How can I remove the pin without wiping the phone?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Samsung sm-j710MN stuck in booting loop due to FRP lock. HELP!!

Dear friends...
I bought a brand new j710mn phone yesterday
Well I took it home and attempted to root it. I believe it was successfully rooted but I can't day for sure.
Now I am stuck on a boot screen that has red letters to the top saying custom binary blocked by FRP lock.
Ive been searching all over for a solution but no luck.
I have already tried the following.
1. Flashing stock firmware using Odin via the downloadING screen. But this is blocked by FRP
2. I have tried using Samsung switch.. but it appears as though it does not support the j710
3. I have searched for an sboot file but to no avail. As I've seen that it has worked for those who had a similar problem on their s6edge.
4. I have tried sideloading and installing files using adb and sdcard. But these options have been blocked by frp
5. Of importance I know my username and password for my Google account but I can't get passed the boot screen.
My firmware version is J710MNUBU1APL4
Thanks for anyone knowledgeable enough to assist.
Kind regards
i have the same problem
when i restart my J7 i find this hell error, well , after five hours searching, bricking, a solution dropped, follow this steps written by me.
First of all , install 7zip ,after , download the stock rom from your region, in sam mobile.
ok, now the tutorial starts...
1 - extracts the stock rom in a folder....
2 - rename the "hidden.img" file to "hidden.img.tar"
3 - select all other files(except hidden.im.tar) , right click , 7zip , compress in compacted file , in compress type select tar.
4 - open odin , selec the generated tar in AP/PA, connect the device in download mode already.
5 - flash the file , and when display get black , enter in download mode again and flash the "hidden.img.tar" file.
6 - after that , the device will restart and update system , and the better thing is.... NO FACTORY RESET! nothing will be deleted , all files will stay.
sorry for the bad english :^P
