Please can somebody tell me which version has 6GB/128GB. I bought SM-A515F/DSN and it has 4GB RAM and in market they said it has 6GB RAM. I live in Eastern Europe (Croatia). If somebody knows all versions and their memories of RAM/storage I'll be thankful.

mine is SM-A515F/DSN, and it has 6GB
I too bought SM-A515F DSN from amazon listed as 6GB when it arrived was 4GB variant even paid the higher price for 6gb contacted Seller who apologised and refunded me the £32 difference. even though I wanted the 6GB it was to much hassle to return for full refund leaving me without a phone for 2 weeks , [emoji25] also its BTU unlocked and came with uk plug , very odd

I have been searching for this too, and my conclusion was, you just can't.
If you want 32gb version the only option is h959 with 2gb, but the price of it is so low now since lg is dumping this device.
bought my h959 for €376 and the only thing that bothers me about the device is the bad display quality.
cpu is actually blazing fast and battery life is damn good for me so far.

don't bother now with the root in 5.1.1 phone is very fast you don't need the extra 1gb in memory
i could not sleep at night knowing there is a better variant of my device . i now have a g3 with 3gb of ram and my friends complain about the 2 gb model all the time . i dont get why lg even bothers with the 2gb variants , is it to save 10 euros in price ?
What i know:
FRD-AL00 >>> China version (?) (32 GB)
FRD-AL10 >>> China version with 4GB Ram + 64 GB Rom
FRD-AL09 >>> EU version 32 GB
FRD-AL19 >>> EU version 64 GB
FRD-AL04 >>> US version 32 GB
FRD-AL14 >>> US version 64 GB
Maybe there are more different versions available.
Each one is a Honor 8
What i suggest:
The TWRP - Packages are not compatible (yet)
They have localized software / bloatware installed.
EMUI Roms are / are not compatible?

Also according to their user manual 04 and 14 are single sim and 09 and 19 are dual sim.

There is a tool called SrkTool Huawei that can convert phone, but does not support Honor 8 yet. It supports P9, P9+, Mate8 the creator is somboons and u can ask him on that forum.

Single vs dual sims will probably result in incompatible roms between the different versions.

It's not possible yet, there is no rom for AL19 or AL14 out.

Yes but to make it work someone with AL19 and AL14 need to make backup of there oeminfo.bin and custom.bin and send it to the Developer so he can put it in the tool, then it will be possible to debrand the phone. And we need stock firmware. I have made backup of my L09 and sent to the Developer of SrkTool Huawei and he will put it in his tool so we can crossflash Honor 8.

Thanks dekarperboer, I've read similar posts and I'm still not sure if this applies to the G9550.
Btw it's the Dual SIM variety, and TWRP specifically says not compatible with SD variants Chinese(0/8/6), Hong Kong(0)

I have the 128GB model and still waiting for root.

It will come eventually since the Bootloader is not locked. (it came to the HK S7 version similarly). But we'll have to wait a bit.
Samsung is not super popular in China + much more expensive than Chinese competitors so it's not very likely we'll see a lot of support for it. That being said all I ask for is root. With Expand the need for custom ROMs is more limited. I'll miss custom kernels though :'(

Well, that's the price you pay for performance! Snapdragon is awesome. if you find it too slow why not change the CSC to Korea or stateside ?

Yes, it is! As long the firmware is Snapdragon, not Exynos you will be fine I'm pretty sure all the info is here on XDA you will need to research it. it should be pretty straightforward as I've done it tons of times UK firmware changed to Germany CSC (Exynos) So i get quicker updates on my Note 9 & my Note 10+ 5G I haven't changed my Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra 5G as of yet been so busy i will change it soon as i would like to unlock all bands on my Note 20 Ultra 5G!

Yes, you can brick your phone. Because the US version only single sim and N9860 dual sim, different hardware and software.
