Hi! So I'm using the V500M model in the UK with the android 10 beta. I like using the new gestures to navigate but the damn dual screen keeps swapping back to the 3 button design whenever I turn it on. Is there any way to prevent that from happening? It doesn't swap if I use the back button + gestures option but I want the pure gestures for navigation.

I am currently using the Galaxy s4 with native keys that are not on screen for home, back, etc. When using navbar / pie and changing home screen the home button on the nav bar / pie does not work if you hit it quickly after you change the screen. Same kind of thing with opening apps if I remember correctly. Is this delay something you see in the OnePlus One as well? Flip a homescreen, hit home on navbar really quick and let me know if you find the phone not responding. It's aa if I need to wait a second for the device to recognize the command although the physical home button works just fine. Just wanna know if this is the case for the 1+1 because I am looking to pick one up shortly, thanks for your time

Hi guys!
I was wondering if there is an app or a tweak that I can use in order to customize the behavior of the buttons on our device, S2 PLUS. Shortly put, I would like to use the long-press menu button action to lock the device. I have searched for apps to lock/wake the device without using the physical button, but most of them use the proximity sensor or drain the battery - and I do not want apps that do that. Btw, I am running the stock version of Android 4.2.2 on my S2 PLUS, and the phone is rooted. Thanks!
I was wondering if it would be possible to disable on-screen buttons and have the fingerprint sensor used (and remapped) for home and multitask (double tap/long hold gesture), whether it be by kernel or custom rom.
On-screen buttons is probably the only thing that kept me from upgrading to m8/m9 and other phones like nexus 5 from my m7 and I would like to know if it would be possible.
The fingerprint sensor can double as home in settings without any modification.
But if you'll need back and multitask, I doubt this single button can do so much.
Would you like to try LMT launcher? You may be able to disable on screen button by simple tweak and use LMT swipe PIE and gesture instead.
I have on screen buttons to hide and I use LMT
I figured that since most apps have a back button (within the app itself) that the fingerprint sensor could be mapped for both short and long pressed, a short press for home and a long press/hold for multitasking/appswitch (or even double tap for multitasking/appswitch like I have on my m7 home button).
I have tried LMT/PIE gestures on the nexus 5 and it felt too bothersome in my opinion, though I also think that on the a9 it will be a little bit more tolerable if I have to use it for back/multitasking

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Does LMT interfere wirh the original and intended functions of the fingerprint sensor at all?
Not at all

hi bros,
I am using ip5s (unlocked, Jailbroken) and Samsung Note 5 (sprint, unlocked, unrooted). In my 5s, I install Virtual Home which uses touch ID to process some system functions such as:
- single short touch (not click Home button) to return Home screen;
- double short touch to show recent apps - multi task area;
- long touch to lock device.
Now i want to bring these function onto my Note. Is there any app on android having similar features? I just dont want to click so much the hard buttons.
thanks guys
I am trying to turn on the screen by using recents or back button using any button-remap app (Tap Screen On or proximity screen on drains battery, i guess) But those buttons dont work while screen is off. So i need to know if there is a workaround to enable them.
I am currently using Galaxy J500F running stock android M with twrp, xposed working.
Any help/idea would be appreciated
