If I get a T-Mobile OP7Pro and unlock it to use on AT&T is there anything I'd be missing?
Are the specs/bands the same?
Can the T-Mobile OS version be removed and Stock installed?
Thank you.

In order of asked:
No everything is the same except the missing dual SIM capability.
Yes all bands from one version are in both versions
Yes, this actually let's you enable dual SIM, all you have to do after that is buy a dual SIM tray for it

Hi. Is there any custom roms that give dual sim support or one that contains firmware from dual sim version i can flash 5g version. As it does have two set of sim pins and also 2 modem do must me firmware issue
Any ideas
I'm pretty certain the hardware can't do dual SIM.
None of the specs available ever show dual SIM support in any of the 5G variants, so I think there IS a hardware restriction on this.

Is this the latest version for my device? I see people on 11 stables or betas but haven't seen anything for my device. Any help would be appreciated. I included a pic of my latest software.
This is t-mobiles latest stable. Global model has android 11. If you follow the threads to convert to global, just be aware that the global android 11 doesnt pick up sprint bands yet.
T-mobile is slow on its updates...
TMO too damn slow for me so I've been running global since June 2020! Happy modding

I'm wondering if the OP8 tmo has the hardware for dual sim as did the previous tmobile variants. Can you let us know if you see two IMEIs or have tried a dual sim tray on the converted phone?

Happy modding,
I'm in USA and on Verizon. No matter how much digging on the forums I'm not sure I can ever be sure which exact version of the 8t would be the carrier unlocked international version with available bootloader unlock and root available. Hoping someone could provide with that info, thanks!
If you buy it directly from OP you should be good to go. Just make sure it's not been purchased through T-Mobile and hardware model KB2007.
KB2005

Why TMobile? Is there not an equilvalent, for example to my V30 that was a non-carrier branded unlocked international model? And Sykojoe mentioned the KB2005, which one is that? I'll admit I haven't even looked up yet.

I'm saying if you are NOT a T-Mobile customer, don't buy a phone that is locked to the T-Mobile network. You need to get them to SIM unlock it then you need to get a bootloader unlock token from OnePlus before you'll be able to flash any other ROMs.
KB2005 is the international version from OnePlus. That is the one you want to get. If the model number is KB2007 it's from T-Mobile.

As stated in that article "This method will not provide you with a T-Mobile SIM unlock."
If you want it sim unlocked you need to contact T-Mobile.

Not that I know of, but you can read/ask here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/t-mobile-bootloader-unlock.4181339/
I would recommend buying a non locked version though. Especially if you live in the eu.

Ok, thank you. The locked are cheaper than global but if there are no trust way I will not take risk!

Come to think of it, is there even a AT&T branded Pixel Pro?
If you buy it from AT&T, it's not unlockable until the SIM is unlocked after meeting their requirements.
oh i bought the global version. just hope i dont ever have to resort to att versions ever again. i still use their sim card however.
