When doing speedtest on my computer i get with cable 91 Mbps, on my computer wireless i get 88 Mbps . On my note 10 plus with android 10 i get only around 60 - 70 Mbps. On my wife here s8 i get about the same as on my note. On my son's s5e tablet i get also the same as on my note. But now when i use my old galaxy tab s (sm-t800) i get around 87 Mbps. This latest one uses android 6 . My note uses android 10 and the phone from my wife and the tablet of my son uses both android 9. What i'm thinking now is that there's a serious problem from within android and this started from android version 9. Can some one confirm this? Or does some one know a good solution for this problem?

Is there a way for my device to create a hot spot to give off wifi using a wifi network it is connected to? I know this sounds stupid but here is my story. My 10 inch tablet (tf300t) gets like 0.1-0.5 MB/s using my school wifi but my Nexus 7 is getting like 15+ MB/s at the exact same spot and time. So maybe if I could use my Nexus 7 as a hot spot to give the 15+ MB/s to my 10 inch tablet to make my 10 inch tablet more usable.

No.
Sorry but I think it can't be done.. There are many apps out there that offer such feature, make a parallel WiFi connection.. But they are just fake apps..
Hey guys, so I have had my m8 ever since it came out in March and have LOVED it. Issue I'm having is as the title said, my WiFi is SLOW!! On all WiFi networks I've been on. Specifically my home network, as it's usually what I'm using. As compared to my lte connection and other phones connections anyways. It's always been kinda slow with WiFi, never knew why.. my normal speeds is around 3-15 mbps. Once in a blue moon i will see 25 download speed randomly. I think it's been getting progressively worse as it used to be bearable. But every now and then it's just horrible! I will attach a screen shot I just took with it connected to my home WiFi (50mbps Comcast). About 30 feet away from router (Linksys WRT1900AC). Less than a mbps down and up speeds. Ping ranging from 30 to 200 sometimes. Standing exactly where I was when I tested that, a s5 active got 39 and 12 and a iPhone 6 got 47 and 9 pings both below 40. And when close to the router, both of those phones get all the WiFi! Between 50-60 mbps... With 4g like 30 seconds after that test I got 54 mbps download speed.
Anyone had issues like this before? any fixes you've heard of? Thanks for reading guys
Btw. Phone is completely stock. Never attempted to root it or anything.
What Firmware, radio and rom are you on? Are you s-off?
Phone is completely stock sir. Running Verizon 4.4.4. No s off or roms installed
Same Issue!
I'm having the exact same issue. WiFi is dreadfully slow on all networks. Tried factory reset, and upgrade to Lollipop and still have the issue. I used to love this phone but now I'm about ready to throw it against the wall because of this issue. Example, this page took 4 minutes to load completely.
HTC One M8 from Verizon running 5.0.1.

Install dnset from the play store and activate it. Then try surfing. Report back if it helps.
Good day everyone,
I ran the fast.com test 10 times (on the same wifi network) on my Honor view 10 and my Google pixel 2XL.
On my pixel I can easily surpass 200Mbps everytime but with my view 10, it never reaches 5Mbps.
Anyone else facing the same issue?
Update: Tried on another Wifi connection and now getting 250Mbps on the pixel and no more than 20 Mbps on the view 10
No.. This is typical internet speeds here as it changes with tower load.
On wifi I've achieved the upper limit of connection speed..30 to 40 mbs
I've not tested on connections over 50mbs.
Sounds to me maybe a confirmation setting not right?
And for those saying the l09 don't get lte service in America...WRONG!
my 8 yr old grandson asked me to "hook" his labtop up to his phone @ 3 mths. ago so he could have the internet on the LT, "NO PROBLEM" WAS Granddaddy's reply,
(i'm thinking, wifi hotspot/tethering) well (buzzer for wrong answer, wanna try 4 double jeopardy?), his phone does not have either built in (android 6.0/straight talk). Now there are apps for "tethering" I've tried but, with 7 times of buying charge/data cords and 5 Rugrats running around cords r OUT
at his house, (they don't have wifi at their house either) Is there an app/program out there I can use to get his labtop to connect to the phone, so the will leave me and my wallet alone?:silly::silly::silly:
THE PHONE IS A STR. TLK GALAXY J3 LUNA PRO(S327VL) ANDR. 6.0 16Gb mem.
Since i'm new HERE, I thank you 4 any help I can get. THANK YOU!!!!
Hey All,
I just upgraded from NOTE 9 to NOTE 20. I keep my router in my office and its a bit of a distance from my bedroom (On purpose for health reasons). My Note 9 could always get 1-2 bars in my bedroom but my NOTE 20 is only getting 1 bar and sometimes loses the connection. This is for two different 2.4 ghz networks that I run in my house.
Is there anything we can do boost our NOTE 20 Ultra WIFI range, perhaps a Build Prop tweak or something else? My N986B is rooted with Dr Ketan ROM and is running like a champ by the way~~~
Hello,
Strange because I also have the two devices and they are the same in the wifi signal. Are the channels for both networks configured or are they in auto mode?
