I'm not sure anyone has Android 10 beta on the Snapdragon variant yet. Currently only the Exynos variant is running the beta.
I suggest we all wait patiently for the official firmware which should hopefully roll out in a few weeks

Many dev's won't want to help or contribute because it has already been done. Use the advanced search feature to search it will help you. I've SM-G965U. Then I converted it to SM-G965U1 using moded odin from this forum followed the tutorial on this forum. Then flashed the beta of U1 and even the final firmware. You can even later go back forth. I don't have much data sub on my phone I would have done for you using teamviewer. Good luck

To convert from SM-G965U to SM-G965U1 you have to wipe everything or just flash?? ,
repeat I already tried but no luck with ODin patch ,I didn't wipe or factory reset!

I found the thread here but I dont want to wipe or factory reset https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9-plus/help/flash-g965u-verizon-to-g965u1-965u-t-t3871415/page2

Nico, the official one is coming soon. Just hang on a little while and let the final non-beta release come to you.

That's it, I mine was sprint SM-g965u to SM-G965U1 but I never look back ever since. Yes wipe is necessary except u used home csc. But I will strongly advice for wipe. Also, you can use smart switch to backup or any method you prefer. Or be patient until final version. But I'm not a fan of bloatware from branded firmware

Let me explain a few things which every new member seems to learn the hard way (I learned the hard way).
Let's take for example the i9505 and the i337. Both Galaxy S4s, both with Snapdragon 600.
I didn't notice the small, but brutally important fact that there is an ENTIRE FORUM for the i337 (I owned an i337), but tried to root it using tools for the i9505.
1. It didn't work.
2. I was lucky I didn't get a brick.
So, they look the same, they behave the same, have the same hardware, but for all intents and purposes, treat them like completely DIFFERENT devices.
So, if you flash the Sprint firmware...
1. Odin will most likely not let you do it.
2. Even if Odin lets you, you might:
a) get a brick, hopefully a soft one, around 90% chance this will happen.
b) around 10% chance - you get a semi-functioning device, with com.android.whatevers crashing ALL the time, no wi-fi, no calling, no NOTHING.
c) extremely unlikely option (some 0.00001% chance) the Sprint firmware actually works. And no, with 0.00001% chance of success I don't mean "it might work, why don't you try it?", it means "don't f***ing do that stupid s**t".
So I'm available available to receive the firmware for the NH7, but I am not really sure how this mostly security based update will do for me on a day to day basis,
If some has a few minutes to explain how I will be better of then I am now on nc5 sprint note 3

Check this website in chrome its in Japanese or Chinese so you can translate it, gonna have to test it you guys i have exynos and its up to you guys to try and install
Just wanted to share
Thanks to @Tetraguy
Did somebody found download link ?
The guy i mentioned found this and i'm an exynos user i wish i could test this 4 u but i cant
no download link.....
Like the thread title said "Claimed" maybe download link will be available tomorrow
I'll contact a mod to move this to general section
If i don't understand false, it is an OTA Update. Only the HongKong user can download it.
I don't know, how we can get it. I would like to test it too.
If i don't remember wrong, isn't the HongKong Note 3 different than SM-N9005?
I am sure that in some days, we will get it.
I really dont understand too much too, its an OTA update link will be posted hopefully and the method as for the variant i really dont know :/
There are so much questions. I think so, we have to wait a little bit.
What about BootLoader? What about system partition? The HongKong version has a 16GB internal storage.
Maybe we can make a softbrick. Better wait a little bit.
Untill we are certain and till i can find some link i'll tell ya
But if someone is gonna test this its gonna be someone with a jig just in case it gets bricked

It is for Qualcomm. Hong Kong SM-N9005 is a Qualcomm Note 3 too.
It has only a little bit different storage structure. The Hong Kong SM-N9005 has a 16GB internal storage. The international SM-9005 has a 32GB internal storage.
I don't know so much about the bootloader, if they have same bootloader or not.

The screenshots from the original link in the opening post of this thread clearly show it's running on the N9005, not the N900.
Here are the same news in vietnamese.
So, the OTA is rolling out in HK actually. I can't read vietnamese, but the google translator is showing, that there will be a tutorial soon. But maybe the translator just translated it wrong. xD

Exclusive: Samsung stops Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 release, new version being developed

Samsung started rolling out the much-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ last week. As promised, the update was first released to members of the beta program before it was rolled out to non-beta devices earlier this week. The update had only been sent out in a handful of markets but in a rather unexpected turn of events, Samsung has stopped the Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo update release..

Well, it looks like anyone on Carrier Branded firmware (me) is in for a long wait, if a problem has been found in the firmware, it will set everyone back.

According to the post, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone who has already updated. It would be ideal if they let people know why though.
Well, ive already flashed trough Odin the Spain PHE version into my Portuguese phone using the tutorial to make the necessaries workarounds.
So far im very happy.
The phone is very stable and much more fluid and quick than Nougat
Nothing to complaint so far!!!
Now I know the reason why it is lablled as CRAP.
They probably want to prevent rolling back to nougat bootloader for those that use that loophole to root and not have to wait 7 days for oem lock to appear.

The last 5 characters of the firmware version are: numeric for BL version, alphanumeric for the phone’s Samsung Experience/major update (C means third major update to the initial release of the phone), alphanumeric for the year (Q is 2017, R is 2018), alphanumeric for month (technically alphabetic, A to K), and alphanumeric for non-test-build of the given month.
So 1CRAP is: bootloader v1, third major release, 2018, january, P release.

Apparently the only reason they stoped the rollout of oreo was that it was causing some devices to reboot. That's what I've been reading has anyone had that problem?

You can't. All you can do is check the latest firmware version on sammy server. Pie in the sky, literally.
The 'pie' firmwares have been on the list there for quite a long time btw.
There are seven previous test Pie versions in the list.
Could any of the testers enlighten us please ?
I am waiting for this since the SD beta came out. Now lets just hope that we will have something to download and flash soon.

No if you love in a European country like Germany, France, the UK and some more there's a really high big and intense chance that you will be able to participate in the official beta program.
A new firmware is under testing. New Pie Build. No number at the end so maybe a final firmware close to the one we will see for the beta program?

This drive me crazy, i'm really exited to try new Samsung Experience, even i know that new ui is a mess.
So guys it's almost November. Last year the 2nd November Samsung announced the Beta Program which was a Thursday. So let's hope that Samsung is announcing the start for the beta program tomorrow on the 1st November.
Fingers crossed!
I don't think it will happen tomorrow. The last two years there were always a few Z-firmwares (beta firmwares) on the server before the beta was announced, but at the moment there is nothing to see for the Exynos variant.
And also the last years, the beta FAQs were released a few days before, which is not the case so far.

FWIW, I have a T-Mobile S22 Ultra that I fully flashed to the US Unlocked version (XAA) & the Samsung Members app still recognizes it as a T-Mobile device.
As I mentioned in another thread, I am on the One UI 5 Beta, so, I can guess that the T-Mobile &/or US Unlocked versions are currently open to the Beta & AT&T isn't (as of August 7,2022).
Did you end up manually flashing the Beta via ADB?
