[Q] Wifi blocked and bootloop

Hello,
I have a problem with my nexus 5 on Terminus ROM, TWRP and blue kernel. My wifi stays blocked "activation du wifi en cours" (maybe in english : "activating wifi").
I have recently installed wifikill app. But I don't think this is a problem. Because I have removed this app. And no result. Then :
Reboot the phone -> wifi stay blocked
Full wipe and reinstall Terminus rom -> wifi stay blocked
So, another problem occurred at the same time, when the phone locks or I lock it manually, it restarts.
Have you some idea for resolve the problem ?

Wipe and flash factory images, DON'T INSTALL ANYTHING and see if it still happens.
If it does, then it's a hardware issue.
If not, then try the same but with Terminus instead of the factory images.
I have just try in flash the factory image, and the wifi still works not :/
It's sure that is an hardware issue ?

If you've flashed factory images and done nothing else right after and it doesn't work, then most likely.
Ok thanks you, i have finaly called google, and he send me a new nexus 5 but in 32 go "Refurbished" (mine was a 16go)
I am a little afraid of this mention "Refurbished". Wait and see...

Galaxy S6 unresponsive and requiring rebooting. What to do?

Twice in the past week I got my phone out and it was off and unresponsive. I had to do soft boot with power volume down to get the phone working. This is something that I have not experienced with other android phones. I am on Verizon with stock Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this a defective phone or some application causing problems. What steps can I take to troubleshoot the problem? Who would I turn to for help?
Having my phone randomly stop working is unacceptable as this is my primary line. I can't afford to miss calls. I need to get this fixed.
Go to Settings-About Device-Software Update. Update the software of your S6.
Tried that, my software is up to date according to settings update.
I have your problem too, you should try to install FXR Wifi Fix. It solved random reboots for me, now my phone just reboot when I download something from Play Store (maybe RAM issue).
random rebbots too
i have random rebbots to, during the day maybe 20 times
its freeze nonstop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsOAGhZvq84
tried everything but no luck
I found a "solution", reset your phone and don't configure wifi. If you never turn on wifi your random reboots will stop.

i am having this same issue too, waiting on a replacement at the moment. hope this one works better
The same here. I own a german (Vodafone) S6 (non Edge; stock 5.0.2; no root) 128GB und sometimes the phone will not respond to any button when I grap it out of my pocket.
The screen keeps black and only Power + Vol Down helps...
Disabling WiFi is no solution for me. Guys, it's a Smartphone ...
Will try the above mentioned Wifi fix. Thanks!

Been having this issue but a newer update came out and haven't noticed so far... AOE3..... Most the custom roms have previous firmware and I was experiencing soft reboots until yesterday!

Nexus 5 wifi stuck on turning on

I was using my rooted Android 6.0 with that kernel chainfire uploaded here on xda with the supersu 2.52 beta, and it was working fine for a few days until my wifi started to stop working, turn off, then turn on after a few seconds, lag, reboot, turn off, on, off, on until it stopped working. Putting the phone to airplane mode then back to normal or safe reboot could get it work for 10 minutes and not every time.
Solutions I have tried and didn't work:
Reflashed android 6 without wiping data
Factory Reset android 6
Flash 5.1.1 with wiping data
Clear Dalvik Cache
echo -ne the .macaddr file
delete the wpa_supplicant files
Nothing worked. When I dial *#*#4636#*#*, wifi state shown "UN-INITIALIZED"
What to do! I need to fix my wifi and can't afford a repair shop, and I'm out of warranty and outside the US so can't return it.

I just started to have the exact same issue last night. Wifi won't come on and if it does my phone reboots. There is a thread about it on Google Nexus help forums: https://productforums.google.com/fo...ification#!msg/nexus/yx5kGasv2lE/Pbx5KNQjCAAJ

Nexus 5 WiFi problem with Marshmallow
Hello, after updating my Nexus 5 to Android 6.0 the Wi-fi is no longer working. It keeps trying to connect but never actually turns on the Wi-Fi or show any networks. I've turned it on in Safe Mode and it still has the same issue.
Please help!

I tried that but didnt' help. Almost every time I turn the wifi on my N5 eventually reboots. I did have wifi connect for a few minutes today to my 5Ghz wifi but then failed for no reason.
I am guessing the wifi chip has burnt out or its some other hardware/software problem. My N5 is a day 1 shipped phone and had no other issues with it. Such a bummer....

So its probably not the same issue. Did you tried all bands? Is it doing the same thing on different rooter brands?

this problem is severe
i have Nexus 5
Since ive updated to stock 6.0.1 (Build M4B30Z) my wifi has stopped working completely
Things ive tried
- ROOT, delete wifi persist folder (Wifi works but requires restart once wifi stops working)
- Lineage OS (Wifi works here but requires multiple restarts)
- Revert to Stock versions 4.4.4 and 5.1
- Heat gun over Wifi Chip (doesnt work at all) may be ive done it the wrong way
any suggestions to restore my phone

Install from unknown sources keeps turning on by it self

I tried to do factory reset, reinstall stock ROM, and problem keeps repeating. I turn off option for installing from unknown sources and after a short while it turns on by itself. Tried to scan with Avast and Malwarebytes and it finds nothing. Some apps at first installed by them self and i managed to delete them.
I also have a problem with launcher3...when I restart my phone it displays msg launcher3 has stop working and when i click OK it continues to work like nothing is wrong.
Please anyone help I don't know what else to do. TY
Manufacturer - ZOPO
Model - 980+

I turn On Unknown Sources . . and shortly after they are turned off again!
It's annoying I cannot leave it on.

No SIM card detected, WiFi will not connect and swith off

Hello help needed!!!
I had installed Android 10.0 with TWRP and Magisk.
Then I received tho OTA for 10.1 and installed it. Magisk and TWRP had been gone and I installed them again.
First installed TWRP (twrp-3.3.1-70-guacamole-unified-Q-mauronofrio.img) with fastboot, afte rbooting to TWRP and selected "Install Recovery Ramdisk"
with (twrp-3.3.1-70-guacamole-unified-Q-mauronofrio.img).
after that I installed Magisk-v20.0.zip
finally deleted Dalvik and cache.
when rebooted, I have no WiFi and no SIM anymore.
WiFi is switching off again and going to SIM menu, the application is crashing.
Any idea what needs to be done, what has been done wrong?
Thanks !!!
I had a similar problem and disabled call recording magisk module and worked fine!
Great, that solved SIM issue.
But still my WiFi is always switching off a few seconds after activation.
Any idea for that?
