Hey i know you've all been waiting for Oreo 8.0 to be supported for our S6..and some of the thread listed here and based on Samsung we will not be able to have Oreo in our devices and the last upgrade available would be Nougat..so if the last upgrade is Nougat, why don't release the Nougat 7.1.2 then? Please make a petition, so that we can get OS update to 7.1.2..or atleast get the best out of these beast of a device..

Once i have received OTA update, but it is for upgrading the performances. Now i need to update the os of my honor 6 plus ( PE TL 10 XXXXXB133 ) to coming os Marshmallow. will my device receive Marshmallow ditrectly to the existing os android kitkat via OTA , that's what i need to know. then i can wait for the OTA. please if someone know help me. thank you inadvanced.

I am from India and my dad has an honor 4c which he has never updated. Its currently running on kitkat 4.4 build version CHM-U01V100R001C636B160. Now I want to update it to marshmallow to improve its performance. The phone does not show any update over the air. I have checked on the hihonor website and it currently shows only marshmallow update for the phone with build version C675B530. The release notes for the marshmallow update say that it should be used to update phones with builds B370, B380, B390 and B502 only.
Can anyone please tell if I can use this marshmallow build to update my phone? Also, I read somewhere that I will have to update to lollipop first. If so, where can I get the lollipop build for India?

Lollipop release will be available soon for GT-I9060 . androidlover5842 and made_in_androland are working hard for lollipop upgrade. We have already made latest TWRP 3.0.2-0 and a over clocked kernel (2.4 GHz) for this device.

We will make marshmallow and nogut too but after lollipop.
I JUST UPGRADED MY ANDROID VERSION TO 7.0 NOUGAT WAS WANDING WHY MY LG STYLO 2 ONLY GOT 7.0 AND NOT 7.1 ANOTHER QUESTION IS WHATS GOING TO BE NEXT AFTER NOUGAT when I updated to nougat 7.0 I didn't get Google Assistant also...
I don't mean to be rude in any way, but are any dev's working on an Oreo rom for the S7? I know some device's have started receiving ports to Oreo, and I just wanted to know if the S7 will ever recieve a port.

S7 will receive an official update to Android 8.0 from Samsung so no doubt there will also be custom 8.0 ROMs too
