I am from India and my dad has an honor 4c which he has never updated. Its currently running on kitkat 4.4 build version CHM-U01V100R001C636B160. Now I want to update it to marshmallow to improve its performance. The phone does not show any update over the air. I have checked on the hihonor website and it currently shows only marshmallow update for the phone with build version C675B530. The release notes for the marshmallow update say that it should be used to update phones with builds B370, B380, B390 and B502 only.
Can anyone please tell if I can use this marshmallow build to update my phone? Also, I read somewhere that I will have to update to lollipop first. If so, where can I get the lollipop build for India?

I have the honor 6 international version
I have rooted and unlocked my bootlader using the multi tool from here
So i heard that there's going to be n EMUI 3.1 update after some time (I don't mean the beta version) and I was wondering that will the update be available for my phone or not ? And if is available can i install the update directly from the update center or should I install it through HiSuite ?
And is there any updates available now ?

I have the same phone (H60-L04) and EMUI 3.0. The update to this version came OTA some time in the past. There are also no other updates available for me.

Once i have received OTA update, but it is for upgrading the performances. Now i need to update the os of my honor 6 plus ( PE TL 10 XXXXXB133 ) to coming os Marshmallow. will my device receive Marshmallow ditrectly to the existing os android kitkat via OTA , that's what i need to know. then i can wait for the OTA. please if someone know help me. thank you inadvanced.
Hello guys, I am here in Pakistan. Few months ago I tried to update my honor 4c to MM but as you know MM is not available for Pakistan officially.
Someone at xda gave me a version of Honor 4c Marshmallow which was build B502.
I installed and it had so many flaws, now I am unable to downgrade or even upgrade it to any other version.
My build number is CHM-U01C185B502
I need help to downgrade this to KitKat or upgrade it to MM B521 or latest.
I am so disappointed that even I want to throw this phone away or sell it anytime.
Please help me!

its available officially in Pakistan now
Lollipop release will be available soon for GT-I9060 . androidlover5842 and made_in_androland are working hard for lollipop upgrade. We have already made latest TWRP 3.0.2-0 and a over clocked kernel (2.4 GHz) for this device.

Hi there,
Ive been waiting for OREO update for asia region official update but to no vail & last update was still in EMUI 5.0.3 Android 7. Build no is FRD-L19C636B392 last security patch of 1st August 2018. Ive also search for update on Team MT's online firmware database but got nothing either on OREO.
So do I have to rebrand to other region in order to get the OREO update? if yes then which would be best to rebrand to, since FRD-L19 for europe got the OREO update.

Same here, ı have middleeast version and stuck on 5.0.4 emui version. Did u even tried to rebrand?
