Hello everyone, when im using my Huawei Mediapad T5 tablet, some games for example Minecraft, Gangstar New Orleans and Block City Wars become unresponsive to touch for a few seconds.
If im for example breaking blocks in Minecraft, the game becomes unresponsive sometimes for a few seconds, if i release my fingers when it is unresponsive, it keeps breaking the blocks. I can still click the Home button on the bottom of the game and exit it. With show touches enabled, the display still shows my touches when it is unresponsive. This only occurs in some games, not all of my games. Please help.

I've been chatting with the user with this issue for a few days now, and we've figured out something. Most games don't have this issue, but if you have this device and are willing to test, please do. Here's a list of games that have the issue:
Minecraft
Clash of clans
Block City wars
Gangstar new Orleans
Hayday
Growtopia (Somewhat)
Subway Surfers
Please post your findings. On another note, all of these games seem to use Objective C in some part of their code, but the ones that work usually do not. This leads me to think that the issue might be with some sort of commonly used Objective-C code, which is used across all of these games, but this is mostly just speculation.
If any android developers are out there, try some engines out and see if you can get the same issue to occur with your own code. That could be helpful too. Thanks!

I have successfully launched my first game for Android.
The name is Evolution of Tower Defense
But i haven't a possibility to test it on different devices.

All Programming done by me, through 4 months
It's free version so it has only half of all content.

Gives a Force Close everytime I exit the game (using a Motorola Defy CM9 - ICS 4.0.3).
I would suggest to implement, as an option at least, a mini-map, so you can see where the enemy is headed without moving through the whole map. I'd also like to be able to Pause/Resume/Fastforward in any situation (example: if the game is paused I cannot put it on fastforward directly, first I must resume it). But good job, this game has potential .
Edit: Freezed my phone, had to pull battery out. Rebooted, started the game again and surprise: the waves are not shown. They're counted, but they do not appear and the health stays at the same level. It's as if I would play without an enemy. But now it's not Force Closing when I exit the game.

Some problems with forceclosing will be removed with next update.
Due to the fact that the application trying to load many images at one time and sometimes it leads to OutOfMemory problem, but it will be solved soon.

I will increase the resolution , it will solve the observe problem.

PS The full version of this game will contain 73 towers and 34 unique monster with BOSSes. But i need to solve all problems in current version before

I hasten to inform you are, that the problem with WAVES is SOLVED.
It's wasn't kind an usual fix. It was really problem related to the build of final signed APK file. Build wasn't correct and the final APK do not work even on my HTC.
But now everything is alright. Please do update or download it again and check this out.

Great! Exciting atmosphere of fallout-like world
Now it works great on my Defy CM9. The map is easily visible because of the resolution increase, waves appear and attack, tower upgrades work.
As it was said earlier, it does have a Fallout atmosphere, which is awesome .

I'm a researcher in psychology just starting my PhD this year. As you might know, apps and games are getting more and more popular to gather data in this field. During my PhD, I'd like to build a simple game for Android tablets to study cooperation between people.
The thing is, I can't spend three years building this game. That's why before I start reading the doc seriously, I'd appreciate if you could tell me how long it would take to code this kind of game:
- the game is a deer hunt game, two players collaborate to kill a deer and then share it
- each player has a tablet in its hands and plays next to the other player, the tablets communicate by bluetooth
- Player 1 avatar is on the left of the screen, player 2 avatar on the right of the screen
- in the middle of the screen, a deer is moving up and down
- players shoot arrows at the deer, once the deer gets shot say three times it dies
- players then have to share the meat of the deer, one of the two players indicate on its screen how much of it he wants to give to the other player
So for someone working full-time on it, with no prior knowledge of java but knowing other languages (C, python, php...), how long do you think it would take to code it (a bracket of several weeks is ok)?
I think there would be 4 big areas to work on:
- the events as described above
- the communication between the two tablets
- the graphics (they can be very minimalist)
- how to save the data
Also, is it possible to use some existing libraries or code pieces to build this game, or do I have to start from zero? For example, shoot'em all games are very common, maybe there is some code for throwing arrows that I could reuse?

Yeah, I know you can extract the .swf file and run it on the phone, but it runs awful. Also I know there's gonna be the Rebirth edition on android, maybe.
Thing is, I'm addicted to this game and I wanna find anything (emulation, probably) similar to it. I did tons of research and the best candidates are cardinal quest (android native roguelike, partially optimized on the Play, fun and simplistic but there's not much action) and "dicing knight" on the wonderswan color (LOL) which I don't even know if can be emulated. Every roguelike is basically too static, and every action rpg/dungeon crawler with realtime, skill-intensive combat either has not permadeath, or hasn't got random generated levels, or both.
I know there isn't a game really like Isaac. I'm just searching for something remotely similar, maybe just addicting, challenging, suited for long runs and small bites. You know, on a phone you'll want that.
Try Deadly Dungeons RPG. I love the game and while it doesn't look a thing like Binding of Isaac it is a rouge-like with random level and item generation and a perma-death mode. It is not Xperia Play optimized but works very well with touchscreen imo.

Just play the original Legend of Zelda with an NES emulator. That's the closest you'll get, without running the .swf on your phone.
well... fact is, it's not randomized, hasn't got permadeath, and you gotta actually go into the dungeons. I mean, it's a completely different game (that I played, anyway)
Hey, to the best of my knowledge Deadly Dungeons cannot be run in Landscape but trust me, it's one of the few games worth using touch screen for. Too bad there isn't a demo but I enjoyed it far more than similar first person rogue-likes such as Grimrock.

I tried that, it's great but it's kind of towards the "deep rpg" side of things. Dungeons are actually randomly generated each time you enter, but you can save and load files, level up the character and stuff like that. I also find that game more suitable to the touchscreen, as it's not completely optimized AFAIK. I think I'll stick to cardinal quest for now, which basically works like legends of yore but it's simpler and roguelike. :\

We would like to share with you our very first game made with Unity, it's called 100% Ghost.
This game is about memorizing wall layout and then trying to guide the Ghost to the target point, which is the banana peel, without touching the walls. If you collide with the wall ghost looses some energy, if you run out of energy the game is over. The moment you start guiding the ghost the lights go out and you can't see the walls anymore.
Maps are randomly generated and their difficulty increase with every level.
This all may sound very easy but in fact it is more diffucult than You may think =)
There are two versions of the game avialable on Goole Play Store, limited free version and full paid version.

I would like to get as many inputs, suggestions and advices as you all can.
I bought Nubia Red Magic 3s for PUBG.
There is no lag and game is smooth.
The issues that I am facing are for graphics and resolution. I am unable to see enemies that are at a distance however my other teammates can see them clearly. This is without any scope.
When I open scope, only then I am able to see them.
My aim was good enough till season 13. But after update to season 14, the camera moves a lot and I am unable to aim correctly.
How can I improve movement speed of my player along with accuracy and perfect aiming.
Any drill or advice will be helpful.
Nubia dpi is only 388. Is this an issue for graphics.
Kindly let me know what I am doing wrong and how to correct it.
Next issue that I am facing is regarding hackers. Sharpshooter and its keys are selling in bulk and every one is using hack in the game.
If my gameplay is up to a certain level, atleast I can take a good fight. Win or loose is secondary, a good fight is what I need.
I have reported many and many were banned too but they seem endless.
Is Pubg getting any income from Sharpshooter devs.
If I am a game manufacturer, I already know my system and also that how it can be hacked or modified. But PUBG is not taking any serious decision about such cheaters.
Is everything fixed?
