Are there any limitations with systemless root? My main objectives with root would be installing Titanium Back Up and Adfree. How do you handle OTA updates?

With systemless root up to now I have use only CF.lumen and Root Browser and I haven't any problem, but I don't now if there are any limitations.
So no OTA updates yet?

Titanium is what I used it for and it works fine. Since I don't plan on taking the OTA, I haven't really worried about that. I'm running the last 6.0 soak test and when a final becomes available, I'll just flash that. IMHO, it's much safer that way anyway. ES Explorer is the only app I can't get root access for, Root Explorer works fine though but ES never even asks for root.

After the zip installation the first and second boot can't past the boot logo, while at the third attempt has been a success, maybe it's because you doesn't use twrp in temporary mode or because you have do a backup in the internal storage, in my moto g 2013 twrp backups in internal storage cause the brick of the phone.

There currently is no way to hide root. If we had support for Magisk it could've worked... But both supersu and phh have outdated hide binaries.
Besides unrooting of course.

Any apps that are claiming to do one click root are most likely malware, fake or outdated. Use magisk, its the best and easiest way, and just flash the patched boot image manually.
