Can someone tell me if there is a way to delete the local update zips in my internal folder? I have tried and cant figure it out.
File manager, Storage, Internal Storage, scroll to bottom of list and it should be there. Or in File Manager, Archives, sometimes they'll be in there too.

I'm running TNT lite 2.2.0 (yes I need to flash a more recent version...) and I cannot seem to access my SD card in any way. When I took it out it told me that I had removed it unexpectantly, and when I tried to get back into ES file explorer it had all my root forlders an files in what it called: /sdcard. And the area labeled: / (the root of the gtablet) there were the old files that used to be on my SD card, even though I had removed it... from then on I have been having tons of problems accessing files, sometimes it seems like I have no files at all today, I opened it to access some media I downloaded and only the folder labeled "data" was there with a bunch of random stuff in it that I truly don't care about. Now, I got a new SD card, put it in and still the files from the old SD card were still there.... I don't know what to do, I tried clearing the cache, didn't work, I tried accessing SDcard anylist the whole app force closed on me, so that didn't work either!!!! I don't know what to do!!! I also tried rebooting, didn't work... I need help thanks.
I got it, the directory was just different but it still will not let me delete or rename stuff... still help please?? I even tried a different file explorer...
The /sdcard folder is internal memory. The /sdcard2 folder is the actual path to the microsd card.
I recently installed WSOP and it had me download a 200mb file to use the game. I looked in the WSOP folder on the device and the download is not inside this folder. Is there a hidden partition somewhere on the device?
Also, whenever an app ask to download additional data, should I tell it to download to the SD card (I don't have one installed) or the internal memory since either option usually works.
EDIT: This also occurs when I select internal memory to download additional data for the meriam webster dictionary. The file is not located anywhere in the standard mnt/sdcard folder. Where are these files being placed?
my phones storage has plenty of space, a few gigs left on both internal and external memory....but it wont let me save any files, take pictures, or transfer files from my computer to phone...anyone know of this and got a fix? im running the ics leak, and am trying to update it, but cant put the rom on my SD card..
?? anyone...
Connect your phone to your computer and open up your folder option and "show hidden files and folders". Look for a trash folder on your sd card and delete it.
In es file manager, under internal storage there's a folder names pmw. It takes up 350mb which is alot when you only have 1.4 gb. Is this important to keep? Can I delete or move to my micro SD? Or does it have to stay internally. Inside it contains files
System
Boot.Ingram
META-INF
installbusybox
By the name of the files. Keep it there.

Why do the phone recognize my internal storage as sdcard0? This tends to lead to some problems when locating files in recovery.
Is there a way to make sure extraneous files, such as downloads, stay only on the sd card under sdcard?
Sometimes when placing a file on the sdcard from USB-to-PC connection, I navigated to the root folder using a file explorer, and tap sdcard, only to find it's not there. Instead of I have to home-->storage-->sdcard1.
Can anyone explain what exactly is going on in this case?? Or if anyone found a way to consolidate the folders, how can I do it??
Thank you.

The storage isn't extended, it's two separate file spaces. Your internal memory is reported as an internal SD card (sdcard0) and your SD Card is reported as an external SD (sdcard1)

If you download the Motorola USB Device Manager then in my computer your device will be recognised with internal and external storage available, all folders under these will be clearly visable and you shouldn't have any issues transferring data between the two.
Cheers
I have that manager and it works well, but I would like the folder "sdcard" in the home to link me to the sdcard1 and not sdcard0. Right now the "symlink" in root browser points there. Anyway to change that?
