Is there a way to set custom color for system accent in Android 10? There are options in the developer menu, but no orange or red color available. Maybe there is an adb command or something like that to do it in a different way?
HI, Check this:
Create a custom accent color on your rooted Android 9 Pie or Android 10 device

Thank you, but it's for rooted phones only I thought that there is a way similar to painting navbar through adb command. Looks like there isn't.

That ROM is CM-12 based, so the /system/lib/hw/lights.msm8960.so file is responsible for controlling the notification LEDs.
You'd have to recompile CM-12 with a fixed library file so it can control the LEDs and possibly changes to the framework-res.apk configs to get the correct options to show up in the settings UI.
Have a look here at the code changes required for CM-13.
You can use that as a base for the modifications needed in the CM-12 code.
Active Display is a bit more difficult. CM-13 has "Ambient Display" but it doesn't work that well.
Part of the reason is likely because the obake platform had a specific processor core for "contextual awareness processing" which CM doesn't seem to know how to use.

So, you might know about the cat easter egg in Android 7.0 (Nougat), but I was wondering if there was a way to hack it onto Android 9.0 (Pie). Sorry if this was the wrong section. I just really want the cat quick tile back because it was so cute.
I am appalled that in two years you haven't recied an answer in this thread, if it's any relevant anymore, here's how;
copy the 'EasterEgg.apk' from /system/system/app/EasterEgg/ from Nougat and replace the Pie one with it.
if you don't have root access to either device; get the system.img of both devices and follow an android system image pack / repack guide like the one found at programming.vip
I recently installed android 10 but there is a really annoying bug that moved the whole keyboard up so I would like to roll back to 9. Can someone please explain how to do that? Is is possible with oxygen updater (download android 9 rom and install it on top of android 10)?

Hi! Keyboard is moved up only if you've chosen the standard android gestures; choose the oneplus ones instead

Oneplus let the user choose between 3 types of navigations:
- buttons
- gesture (left and right) (this one is newly added with android 10)
- gesture (bottom)
Both gesture types contains the bug. The only way to have the keyboard at the correct location is disable gesture (which is not what I want).
So it's clearly a bug that can not be solve in the current rom (10.0.1).
I don't want to choose between the navigation gesture and right keyboard location (as both were working on android 9).
I updated to android 10 to get android 10 gesture improvements but the only thing I got is a regression.
For those who are interested to get more informations about this bug, there are a lot a topic in the feedback section of the oneplus forum (lots of people are waiting for this fix).
Now that the situation is clear, can someone help me to roll back to android 9 please ?

This gap is intentional, iPhone from where these gestures are copied have doubled the gap, because its not easy to type so far down the bottom on a long phone, to keep the keyboard at more usable position they have raise keyboard little bit, iPhone has raised it even more. Take it as a feature. Else free to downgrade. If you wanna lose dark mode.
Nobody has yet to share how to downgrade from 10 to 9.............
You need downgrade package like one plus 7 pro
Rolback package op7

(all data will erase completely)
_(confirmed: from OOS 10.0.1 stable to OOS 9.5.2 - GM57AA )
_ When turning back, there is an update notification for OOS 10.0.1
So,turn off automatic updates in developer options & system updates if you want to stay in android9 ...

I can confirm this downgrade procedure works fine. Thanks for posting, as it helped me solve a problem with vmware intelligent hub not installing on android 10.

If you read says :
Disclaimer: Please read the steps and requirements carefully and take a Complete Backup of your device Internal Data before flashing..
The phone will boot into recovery mode and will erase the user data completely..
File type: " fulldowngrade_wipe_MSM_18857_190505_1527_user.zip"
_we can get back on previous version and with msm tool also :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/op7-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-to-t3954325
(Read in OP: "They can also be used to rollback your phone to a previous release of OOS")
If you haven't downgraded yet, you can use a command in terminal if you're rooted. Type wm overscan 0,0,0,-75. There's a link in xda which provides adb commands also. Search in google and you'll find it.
Would restoring a TWRP backup of the OP7 with Pie work?
Also thinking of rolling back, don't want to lose everything.

1. Hmm, that's not normal but I've already heard it from some users.
2. You should have the option "Show notifications"
3. Taskbar? wdym?
4. dunno, maybe try it with "activity launcher"
5. I recommend you in general to unlock your bootloader, install OrangeFox and flash xiaomi.eu (MIUI based custom ROM which is better imo > better battery, based on China ROM (more features)...)

I was about to flash Arrow in my device, what are the main differences with this?
You will get a lot more native Android and Pixel Features such as Pixel Setup Wizard, Pixel Feature Drop Functions, Extreme Battery Mode, better overall Quality for Media Consumption and Recording of it. It also removes ARROW OS Apps for Pixel Apps and the Installer does also Trim Your Storage if You follow My Instructions. Your Device will perform a lot better and the battery usage should be also optimized. I have a long History with Qualcomm Devices and know My Stuff. There will come a lot more next and i really love to keep everything clean like ARROW OS does...
Hope You will like it! Just keep in Mind it is a BETA Actually. Means Pixel Launcher isn't working right Yet, and not everything is present Yet. My biggest Problem is the Prop Patching which i haven't used in Years. That causes a lack of My Prop Configs :/ The actual Version includes a slightly patched Vendor build.prop but that will cause trouble with ARROW OS Updates...
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Miustone/MARS_SOM/master/MARS_SOM/system.prop
Hope i can get it to work next.

That's caused by the Ported Pixel UI. The Status Bar is bigger on the Pixel 5 based on the Camera. The Dot is a Side Effect that will be fixed soon.

What isn't easy? You just need to read... Download the Zip from My Homepage, place it on Your Phone and flash it with Your Recovery. Handle it like a new ROM and done (Do a Full Wipe followed by a ROM flash before flashing MARS).
