[Q] make custom rom for note 10.1

hello everyone this is my first thread here so please forgive if i made any mistake in my question
i am from India and owner od galaxy note 10.1 (3g+cellular).i want to make custom rooted rom(ice-cream-sandwitch ) for myself and for all indian galaxy note owners.please tell me how i can do that or how i can learn to make a custom rom.is the android-kitchen method that explained in one thread is ok for note 10.1.
NOTE:-in India note 10.1 is also called galaxy note 800

There are many guides that can assist however as a pointer take a look at my thread in my signature.I have done 3 videos showing how to create the build environment tools needed how to do the basics step by step. Don't use the files though though in the vid as some are specific to the galaxy note phone
Download. Custom Rom from here and see how its made up I.e build prop update scripts file structures etc
I have to do some more videos on the more complex tasks but have not got round to doing it yet
I will say it again though only use files specific to th note you are using and don't use the note n7000 files I linked in the video.

Help from user rbox

Forgive me for not posting this in the Samsung Gear Live forum, but it appears that that forum as almost no activity anymore.
A user named Rbox created a file for TRWP that is compatible with the LG Urbane. FileName = twrp-3.0.0-0-bass+squashfs.img
Does anyone know if he also did the same hack to TWRP for the Gear Live? Or maybe someone else did it? I really want to
use TWRP on my Gear Live, but without this hack the Watch (on Ver 6.01 marshmallow) will not read SquashFS files

MIUI Porting Guide made-easy for Coolpad Note 3/Lite

Port any mm MIUI from Redmi note 4 mtk(nikel) and Redmi Note Pro(Omega) to Coolpad Note 3
Guide is made super easy
U just need to unpack the ROM and paste porting files
Do remember to delete journal and recovery-from-boot.p file in system if present
Things needed:
Windows PC
Winrar
NotePad++
Basic knowledge of copy, paste, delete (even pre-primary kids know it ?)
Common sense
Do exactly as done in video.(skip framework editing part)
Do not touch buildprop unless u know what you r doing and it’s results.
Important Note:
Incase ROM didn’t boot even after 20min skip framework editing part and do it manually using apktool(video will be posted soon)
u can manual edit it to fix auto brightness and battery mAh.(I’ll post a video on how to do it whenever free)

Where and how to update this in Samsung note 9 with One UI 2.5 May 2021. I can't locate the feature.xml or other.xml. can you help with a help link?

I've added the applock function to my SGS Note20 ultra by redacting the cscfeature.xml. with a help of links located below. maybe these links will help you too. but pay your attention, that you have to have your device as rooted.

Started native development for LG webOS TV, a lot of things are working

I recently purchased a new TV running webOS 4.5. I can't root it but still native app development is possible.
Here's all tools and samples: https://github.com/webosbrew , and here's what is working so far:
1. Qt Quick 5.6.2
2. SDL 2.0.5
3. GStreamer (sound only)

I also started reverse engineering, and needs your help if you've rooted your TV before.
Could any one share your copy of root file system? Also, if possible, could you share the YouTube/Netflix application binary running on your TV? So I can find out how to make hardware video acceleration works.

You'll probably want to join the openlgtv discord. There's a tool on their github (epk2extract) which will extract a number of firmware files. I found a similar model to mine to extract.
