Hello,
Is there any way to reduce noise in night / low light video with the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 ?
With GCam, Filmic pro or any other app ?
Thanks !

Hi,
I have been getting these black rolling lines moving upwards when i am recording videos using my Galaxy R in fluorescent light. The lines make the video very annoying to watch. The videos are clear outdoor in day light but the problem shows up in fluorescent lights. The video is recorded at 30.25 FPS. I read it has to do with flickering rate of fluorescent light etc. If that was the reason for it , is there any way to record at lesser FPS like 28 or 29. Does anybody else face the problem with camera?
Yes,that is definitely the reason. Check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17791551&postcount=20 and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1271927 ,hope it can help..

Dude looks like all this work needs rooting and modding.Isn't there an app which can control these settings while recording / help record in low FPS.
I have the official cm12.1 on my yuphoria. I tried the stock camera app and the video recording is really choppy/laggy. I tried various 3rd party camera apps but still the video was very choppy/laggy even when I set the fps to 60 or 120 (at 720p). Yuphoria is supposed to have 60fps recording at 1080p so is this a device issue or rom issue ? I tried from a friend's redmi 1s and the video was very smooth even at 1080p. (In the same room under same conditions)
Is there a custom kernel which can provide a solution to my problem ?
(The video becomes a little smoother if I point it directly at a light source but in normal light in my room, the video is really choppy/laggy)
Hey guys,
I just received my new Mi Mix 2s.
But there is one little annoying problem:
Whenever I took a picture in WhatsApp or Instagram, there will be an shutter sound..
Even if I set the phone on mute.
Is there a way to fix this?
Does someone also have this shutter sound?
I also have the shutter sound and also only in WhatsApp or Instagram, in Snapchat there is no shutter sound... Super annoying
So I'm not the only one.. that's good
I can confirm too, no sound on Snapchat ..
Are you on CN or Global? What region is your phone set to?
On Global US I get no shutter sound with phone on silence in normal camera app.
I'm on the global germany.
I disabled camera sounds on the camera app, there is like u said no shutter sound on silenced mode, but in Whatsapp or Instagram it is.
Camera app works good. But at WhatsApp or Instagram the sound will come all the time
This is not related to the phone but to whats app?!
I have shutter sound on huawei p8 lite, samsung galaxy a3 and galaxy s4, when i take the picture in whats app.
But there is no sound when you do it with a camera app.
I always thought this is on purpose so ppl can not take secret pictures in public directly posted somewhere?!
Hm on the Redmi 5 plus and Sony Xperia z5 I never had shutter sound on silenced mode with the WhatsApp or Instagram app..

Don't have shutter sound with the 1+1, lg g6, galaxy note 3 and galaxy s6 in whatsapp so it's not the fault of whatsapp
Hello all,
I have a few questions concerning the quality of video recording on stock and gcam app. Kinda disappointed about the quality, and you maybe able to tell me if it's normal or if I could fix it (first of all, sorry for my english, not my mother tongue).
I found that in 1080 30 fps, outdoor videos, the details are really poor, even with sufficient light. It seems to be "grainy" (1st link below).
Inside videos with low light (my place around 10pm with 1 ceiling light on) are very blurry, especially on the corners. The autofocus is messy (not focusing, or hardly in automatic mode, I have to go through manuel focusing, and it's not always working).
When I switch to 1080p 60 fps, the video is much darker, is that normal ? (I heard it is).
I'm running the beta 6, with the latest gcam port app.
The links I provide are google photos updates.
Do you think it's normal, or the OP6 I own has an hardware issue ?
Thanks

On my Samsung Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro, when viewing HDR content, the phone automatically adjusts to Max brightness for proper viewing. With my Pixel 3, this does not happen and I have to increase the brightness manually to get the full effect. I have adaptive brightness off and I have the YouTube video set to playback at 1080/HDR. Is there anything I'm missing. Can this phone play back HDR properly?
Thanks
