[Q] Does front camera work in Skype or ?

I wanted to ask , i have installed the new skype on chacha ,voice calls and im seem to work fine, but when i try to enable "force cameras" , and restart skype, it cant no longer sign in, so i have to uninstall it . What about u guys , i can no see nor be seen on calls. Any thoughts

Skype is not supporting yet fron camera on ChaCha.
I have try to do this also, but even I dont seened options to enable in settings.

Support On Android Phones Is Getting Slower And Slower Than Normal From Skype.
Some Say Because of MS it is giving releases to Windows Phone's first and then Androids. Who Knows? Maybe, they can't be bothered unless it becomes mainstream like the Sensation.
Anyway, if you need Video Calls desperately - then there is only 1 tested way.

[Q] Issues CM11_Saga_Flinny_alpha5

Hello guys,
this is goin' to be my first post on xda-developers sure that this should normally be placed in another thread but permissions to do that are still missing.
I don't want to create useless board blowing posts only to reach more than 10 to get the permission to disclose some bugs I found in the current CM11_saga_flinny_alpha5..
First of all I wanna thank all developers for spending there spare time for such great projects!!
Issues I recognized:
1) Apps moved and located on the sd-card will loose the desktop link after reboot of the system as often as I place it onto the primary screen.
2) The current Brower often crashes whenever I'm on for example facebook watching pictures it crashes, reproducable.
3) in options under developer options activating error report doesn't bring any report up for sending via email
4) could anyone please evaluate if downloading i.e. Redphone or Textsecure works within the GooglePlay Store? I can't although it is compatible to android 4.4.2 so I guess that there is a mismatch between the googleplay and the alpha5 permissions

I had the second bug to. I reflashed and wiped cache and co and it was gone. No idea why.
I have Problems wieht the Headphones control. Does it work at your device? I get no symbol in the statusbar that the headphone is in still can hear music and sounds but the thee control bottums of the headset don´t work neither the microphon.

Known/recognized issues on both ROMs:
Please evaluate if downloading i.e. Redphone,Textsecure, WhatsApp works within the GooglePlay Store!?
I can't although it is compatible to android 4.4.2 so I guess that there is still a mismatch between the AndroidManifest.xml and both of your ROMs. Permissions or something like that..?
Calling somebody and than trying to "mute" the doesn't work so there's an incorrect function.

Gererating Error Report doesn't work seems to be no function behind it..
Hope you guys will fix these bugs...anyway thanks for your great work on supporting such an old phone. Still love my Desire S

I'm currently using the recommended 20140517—version and am having some problems with mobile data, so i assume this is a bug.
Mobile data in 3G networks works flawlessly, but in 2G networks it won't connect to any site/page or service. Though sometimes I get some incoming Whatssapp messages or push-news-content. Never Bad this problems with stock Roms. Provider is Vodafone Germany.

Browsing Issue with my Xperia C

Hello everyone, i got my xperia C not too long ago and i updated it to the latest available software right after i got it (16.0.B.2.16 is my current build number)
The phone is working just fine except for one issue that is google chrome, 1st lemme put this clear while using WIFI this issue does not exist and it works just fine, anyway Chrome on mobile network connection however is a different story, it doesnt work properly, for example whenever i try to go to any website it loads for a long time and i end up getting a server not available message or unable to load or whatever, and i know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my mobile connection as other apps work just fine including Opera browser which opens whichever website i want right away, however some of the apps that are influenced by google chrome ( or at least i think so coz they r mostly affected by the same issue on mobile network ) like youtube or playstore and sometimes even facebook app ( not the messenger app that one works just fine ) and its been nagging me badly
I understand that simply by using opera my browsing issue is solved but again like i said i believe that some apps are influenced by chrome in one way or another or they r just simply affected by the same issue ( including skype which is extremely unstable like chrome on cell connection but works just fine on WIFI) so i cant just let that issue be as i need chrome to be working properly
Also note that whenever i open a hotspot for someone their chrome browser and all other apps work just fine so iam sure that my issue has nothing to do with mobile coverage or internet configuration settings, another thing, my brother has same xperia C unit and his browsing is just fine however he hasnt updated to the latest firmware ( i dont know whether that issue existed before the update or not as i updated the phone right after i got it before i could put anything to test)
so here are some things that i tried to fix this:
restarting phone, didn't work
factory reset, didn't work
updating chrome, didn't work, removing the update didn't work
uninstalling opera, didnt work
basically nothing works and i really need to get chrome working properly, thanks for reading and i hope anyone can help me fix it as its really bothering me.

Try disabling auto sync and/or removing your Google account from Chrome [don't log in during initial setup].

Verizon z3v camera error

Is anyone else getting the error "Recording in Process in another app. Cannot Record." when opening the camera app for Verizons Z3V??
All other apps are closed so I'm not sure what this is referring to.
It also lets me record after receiving that error.. is this a bug or what

It is because of google now.
It actually still works fine, but google now is interfering with the input sensors so the camera thinks there is another recording going on. Just click OK and use your camera as normal.

Is Sony or Google aware of this problem? Or should i add a ticket on their support pages

I am sure they are, but you can check their support pages and add one if there is not already one.

I get the same message, except it will not let me record video. This is turning into a major problem quick.

Easy workaround!
If clicking ok after the error is too much...
1. Open Google Now
2.Go to Settings
3.click on Voice
4.click on "Ok Google" Detention
5. Unselect "from any screen"
Voila, I know because it was exactly after I selected that function that I started to have the error.
This is.just a.work arround but at least you know your z3v is not corrupted or broken...hopefully sony will.fix this soon

I am experiencing this. Is this the situation for all Z3's or should I go back to the store to change mine. I actually like having the Okay Google active on all screens

I'm having problems with the video camera, I get the message that says there is something recording in another app but still won't let me use the video camera. Is there a way to fix this????

[FIX] Google Play Services force close problem after update

Hello Everyone!
Regarding to the user comments added to Google Play Services app, a lot of people have problems with unexpected force closing the app after last update (9.0.83). It usually closes after opening Gmail, Maps, Google Keep etc. I faced the same problem and tried to restore previous version of my OS, wipe data, cache etc. - didn't work.
I found a temporary solution of this problem - it will probably work for you if you have Xposed and Amplify intalled (like it was in my case).
Some people says that after uninstalling Amplify problem was gone, but the real reason is the "lcing" wakelock which you probably limit by the app. Just try to turn off the control of this wakelock and check if the problem is gone.
Works on my Galaxy S6 (stock Android 6.0.1, SpaceX kernel).
