I'm in a jam and hope someone can help. I have an older Samsung table, a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) and I am trying to remove root in order to be able to receive OTA updates again. I have used various apps to try and remove root but they have only removed small pieces and the device is still showing up as rooted/modified, even after performing a factory data reset...it is still showing as rooted.
The biggest problem is that the device is so old that I cannot find the original firmware in order to flash it back to stock in Odin. I have looked EVERYWHERE on the internet but all links to the older firmware have expired or been removed. I even tried calling Samsung tech support but they were no help at all. I then even got desperate and tried calling a local BestBuy to ask for help from their Samsung Reps and Geek Squad, but none were any help. So now my last resort is to reach out to the Android community.
So, as much as I hate to bother you guys, do any of you out there still have an old stock rom/firmware for the Verizon (wifi only) Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet (SM-P600P)? If so, PLEASE SHARE IT. That would be greatly appreciated. Many times I have hit a road block where no tech support anywhere could help, but you guys here at XDA have still come through when no one else could. You all have been lifesavers in the past, so I hope someone can help me this time as well.
Thanks in advance guys for any help that you can provide me. I've tried every website I can think of but keep coming up with nothing (e.g. I've tried Sammobile, Samsung, Kies, YouTube, here at XDA, etc.). Even if you can point me to a link that's still good where I can find the firmware myself, that would be great!!

Hello friends, I have been looking at several posts and can not find concrete help with my galaxy tab the first time I received it applies a version rom JM6 but loading multimedia content while reading gave me an error. I did the same a second time and entered the tab to send her to state brick sat and after a month I came back from the phone company that sold me, but it comes with company logos and see that you have removed many tab brings things to the factory original. goes a bit slow. I should mention that my tab is Colombia / Latin America but unfortunately there is nobody here to give me guidance, my data are tab

I went to the website but I do not see SAMFIRMWARE original ROM that is compatible with my GT, I also read that some ROMS that page does not support the Tablet as they bring some security ... truth is not far from the tablets with android so if anyone can help me be grateful ... when I try to update by Kies tells me that my device may not be updated .. would leave the original frabic without the things that removes the operator .. Please someone help me to know what the ROM should I install my TAB .. and I explain it right steps to not let it flash again in brick and have to send back to the SAT
Hello awesome people of the rooting community, I've been searching like crazy(with no luck) to find a way to get my beautiful note 3 back to root access ever since i had to buy a new one when my old one fell apart.
i figured i turn to these ever so helpful forums, to be specific its a Sprint Galaxy Note 3 running 4.4.4 NK4. The reason that's underlined is because i have yet to find a way to root the November NK4 update on the forums, YouTube, cellphone stores i know of....etc..
is it even possible? if someone can help me restore my note 3 back to its former glory it would be much appreciated cause I'm out of options and made an account just to post to these forums.

I have a samsung galaxy s4 I337. I have tried the over the air update several times but it always stops at 27 percent and restarts my phone. Ive wiped all cache, factory reset my phone and still nothing. It is stuck on android 4.4.2 and I would like to update it to lolipop. I know that at&t has released lollipop to their samsung galaxy s4s, but I cant even get passed 4.4.2. I am decent with phones but know nothing about flashing. Can someone please give me a very detailed, step by step process on how to get lollipop on my phone? Also, is it possible to do it and not lose data? I have my things backed up but wanna make sure.

Hi, thank you for userid XDA Assist. You didn't mention if you're rooted or not. If you are the ota will fall. Your best bet is to read and look for answers here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att. If you have further questions please register on XDA and ask in that forum. They are they experts on your device.
My phone one is on stock firmware finally. In download mode it confirms that. It also confirms that current binary is Samsung Official. Do I need to worry for my phone getting bricked doing a complete software reflash in a Samsung Repair Facility? I'm asking because the phone says custom in about phone and I do know that it can mean just that the phone had more images flashed to it. I rooted with Kingroot about a month ago and since then I have been trying to get my phone like how it comes fresh out of the box. I have been going crazy since then and I'm posting this question now being that I will be able to visit one of Samsung's Repair Facility's in a few days. It's the Grand Prime with model # SM-G5030AZ. Please can you fellows who know much more than me help me with my dilemma. Thank you.

I don't have one more is it available anywhere and believe me I did the research. I think your first option is something I'll give a try but if it doesn't work I'll try the last one. Thank you very much for your time as it is much appreciated.

My Note 4 told me to do a system update, so, I did, and after about an hour of my phone flashing on and off on and off, I took it to the nearest Tmobile store and was told that, there was nothing they could do for me except sell me another phone, which I was forced to buy. So, I now have a phone I used to love, and cant use. The guy at Tmobile said that someone tried to root my phone but was unsuccessful, and only rooted it part of the way. So, now it is stuck in this half rooted mode. Is there anything I can do to recover my favorite phone? Plz help....
