Is there anyway to fullscreen the edge so it hides the panel on the side for example when i watch youtube it fills the whole screen or when I chromecast it hides that Galaxy Note edge on the top with the black bar?

Is there a way to remove/hide the unfilled icon slot in the apps edge panel? For example, Apps edge has 5 slots for me to fill. I only want to fill 4 but I dont want the empty one to display the + sign.

On my s10e, the edge notification works but only does 1 round of the screen and then stops. Ho do I can get edge notification to continue glowing until I unlock the phone?
