Does g8 plus support spy cam apps like "background video recorder" aka "quick video recorder" app from play store?
Being an investigative journalist if the action camera of g8 plus is supported by spy cam apps would be a great for me.

Hi I am wondering if the Verizon G5 allows 4k video recording with 3rd party apps in the playstore like
1) Lumio Camera
2) Cinema 4k
3) open camera
All of these are either free or have free trial versions in the playstore
Does anyone know if the Verizon G5 do 4K with any of those apps? 4K UHD is 3840x2160 .............if so what max bitrates?
I have tried the Sprint G5 but it DOES NOT do 4k with any 3rd party apps.....................the app may say it does record, but after you record , it will only be 1080p......................you have to check the file info after (details)

Depends on the way the developer(s) coded the application. Out of LG's control.
Samsung have removed the Video record feature in Game Launcher, I know they have dedicated Screen Record feature in the quick launch now, but its very clunky to implement/activate when your playing a game.
I did post something about it on the EU Samsung Community boards titled "Screen Recorder feature missing on Gamer Launcher on Note 10/10+" -I'm not able to post link here)
Does anyone know how I could launch the Screen Recorder as if it were an App (not via the quick launch button) ? (so that I could add/map it in the Game Launchers Pop-up panel)

There is native option in camera to scan 3d objects?
I know some phones have an option to natively scan objects with tofu sensor.
Thor is some option like this in moto g100?

Short aswer is NO.
G100 haven't any app to use ToF3D as 3D scanner, and I didn't any app that can use it... I think that Samsung have an native app to do this in their phones with ToF3D. But Samsung app doesn't work for non Samsung phones.
There is a 3D Live scanner in the Google Play, that somehow utilises the ToF to scan objects, but it is not perfect.
Sadly Motorola is not up to any apps for ToF sensor (they ditched the ToF in other Moto phones).
