Hello , i tried to unlock my friends bootloader to change it to global ROM is it possible to skip the timer that was given ? 888 hours is 36 days ... i tried it with 2 accounts but the timer starts same 888 hours.

Nope, that can't be bypassed no matter what. You gotta wait it out.

Hi,
after installing several roms etc, my Ace 2 does not start anymore.
I cannot go into download mode.
I cannot see if the device is charging.
It does not respond when I press any sort of combination of buttons.
I'm afraid it's dead unless some experts here have got some phone saving tips?

O yes, many many times. That didn't help
It's most probably bricked. It's strange that only after a few ROM's it stopped working.
I've tried more than 20 ROM's on Ace and it's perfectly fine.

I have that phone from july and I try all roms with all configuration ( rom/kernel/stock ) I like flash phones. When I dont have nothing to do I go fire up odin or cwm and I do full wipe + flash and I like to play with system files hehhe. Before, I had 10 bootlops per day )) I like it

Dude... You have to wait the 14 days
And when it also fails after 14 days you have to wait longer. Until your phone connects with the lenovo servers. No there is no other way. Without lenovo no unlock.

Actually yea. I downgraded to mm. And tried. Still no luck. And on lenovo's own k6 power oem unlocks like damn with a tap.

even today the servers to grant the unlocking of the bootloader do not go and its say lenovoID without permission the network is unvainable please check network status first
I think it is time to contact lenovo support. Goodluck man!

Its since 10 days about. Its a recurring issue though thats what you found in forums. I am saying because i started 14 day process and 6th april was gonna be my 14th day but you know the rest.
I checked on the internet and they are all of the opinion that there is little we can do. we just have to wait for lenovo to realize and start working to fix the problem

Yep got 186 this morning. Just curious what are you hoping it'll fix. As I'm not having any issues...
Dark mode is not available as a toggle in pie. Still have to use a dark theme to compensate for this. The volume of the dual speakers is not as loud as in Oreo. Just these minor issues. Overall Pie is working well.

OK. I never needed or wanted a dark mode so I guess I'm not missing or wanting it.
I mentioned on another thread that to me the volume of pie is about the same as Oreo. Maybe it's just me.

I didn't need to. Everything is working fine. The only thing I had to do was sideload Google Play Store apk as the new firmware doesn't have it.

Seems OK for me.... But I have only had Pie for a couple of days. Too early to tell. But from using the phone it seems OK.
A few people on this forum have said that Pie is worse than Oreo for battery life. And speaker volume is quieter also....

I have so many issues with my phone. Apps are managed terribly. Battery drain and battery health, some apps don't work on wlan and notifications don't work for standard apps like messenger and outlook until I open the app. Basically the most important parts of a smartphone don't function properly.
with 186 I can't activate Google assistant with voice command 'ok google', spent 30 minutes still couldn't find where the setting was. Any help?

I got the update via OTA. Bootloader is locked by default. I've never seen on unlock in developer options..
Apparently there are only 1000 slots... grab it while you can. Going to install...

why not?. xiaomi is just a scam. they know if people use custom rom in their previous flagship models.the performance would surpass latest models. because of them cheaping out on chips.they purpously delay our unlocking upto when we forgets about that. now am rolling back to factory rom because of the bugs,performance drop,battery issues everything.and also ill try to debloat my device after that
i thinks they are also purpously decreasing our device performance with every update so that they can sell more flagship ones
