Download HiCare app from playstore... Look for update... It will automatically register you for update when you agree the terms and conditions

After a less-than-stellar customer service experience with OnePlus and a phone that still doesn't work, I've had to set my credit card provider on them and, as luck would have it, my cell provider happened to be waiving upgrade fees.
I'm waiting for an Honor 8 to pop through the door. I've had a play with the demo model in the shop and EMUI doesn't seem awful, but I tend to root and flash phones as a matter of course.
However, in this case I've been following the threads regarding the EMUI 5 betas with interest, so I'm going to be waiting for an OTA before I do anything drastic.
In the meantime, is there anything specific people would recommend that must be installed to overcome any niggles/bugs/irritations that EMUI brings to the table?

Which will save some space in system and reduces the background process which saves the RAM consumption leading. To increasing in performance .
Also try changing the value of Dalvik-vm heapsize to 1gb or 512 and check the performance .
U can install few init.d scripts to zipalign apps on every boot. Try some performance scripts and build.prop tweaks .
There is much more to do if do a bit research . cheers
Not much point uninstalling just freeze the apps in titanium backup as you will need to restore all apps when updating the phone to newer emui

yes i also tested the speed by copying a 3GB single file from mobile to hard drive it takes appox.2 mins..but the dialog box on windows showing wrong info it said about 15 mins but it was completed in exact 2 mins....tested twice:good:

Dude... You have to wait the 14 days
And when it also fails after 14 days you have to wait longer. Until your phone connects with the lenovo servers. No there is no other way. Without lenovo no unlock.

Actually yea. I downgraded to mm. And tried. Still no luck. And on lenovo's own k6 power oem unlocks like damn with a tap.

even today the servers to grant the unlocking of the bootloader do not go and its say lenovoID without permission the network is unvainable please check network status first

Its since 10 days about. Its a recurring issue though thats what you found in forums. I am saying because i started 14 day process and 6th april was gonna be my 14th day but you know the rest.
I checked on the internet and they are all of the opinion that there is little we can do. we just have to wait for lenovo to realize and start working to fix the problem

Not really. If you just registered using 9.1.0.328 you're free to update to 9.1.0.345.
The project disappeared for me too after updating but today it reappeared on the "my projects" - tab.
So as long as you were able to register, everything should be fine.
