My network randomly seems to disconnect or show few bytes to kbps (with no actual network) when I am using dual sims at once.
Disabling one sim, and network in one seems to work.
Someone please help me to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I am unable to use 3G on htc desire. I have set the correct APN. The problem is that when I choose "WCDMA" as the network mode, it automatically switches back to "GSM only". The place where I live has no problem with 3G availability. I feel the problem lies more with my handset. Can someone please help ? Is there anything that I can do to get rid of this problem. My phone has lost its warranty since I unlocked it.
Have you tried any other operator sim card? It's a good troubleshooting to do when this kind of problems happen...
Had problems like that before and it was an incorrect APN setup.
Thanks for getting back. I tried with a different sim and a different operator. They were also not successful. APN setting is perfectly right for the current sim. The APN settings were given by the operator.

Are you using any kind of widget to switch APN on / off, 2G/3g ?... I noticed that for example, Widgetsoid can mess with 3g connection so much that sometimes you need to remove it and reboot the phone so you can get things working again.
Try using another SIM card too. It may give you a clue on what's going on: wrong settings / card with no data activated / etc ...
I am not using any widget to turn on/off the 3g. EDGE services work on my mobile while 3G is not working. If I use the sim card on to a different mobile, 3G works fine without any problem. Tried using another sim card with 3G data activated and that also did not work fine for me on HTC Desire.
Hi Friends
I have Karbonn A9 working on android 2.3.6, It is dual sim mobile with one slot having WCDMA capability and other is only 2G,
When i use one sim in only WCDMA slot it gives 3G speed with symbol 'H' and when i inserted second sim in other slot speed reduce to only 50 kbps to 80 kbps with symbol 'H'.
So the problem is that when i use both card simultaneously it gives only 2G speed , and when i remove second sim it gives 3G speed, i have tried factory reset. Because of this problem currently i am using only one sim in WCDMA slot, other slot keeping empty
Is there any solution ?
same problem with A9+ ics 4.0
I'm also facing same problem with A9+ ics 4.0.
If someone know how to solve it please tell me.
I'm also trying to solve it
Any solution

Hi Gaurang,
You should try activating divert on second 2G sim, select the no. of 3G sim to divert and keep it deactivated(only possible if you're not a "SMS is my oxygen" type) use the 3G, if someone calls you, you'll get notified by divert icon on the screen, at that time just reactivate SIM for some time make the call and deactivate it again. Also this will help you same battery life.
If u face any challange, feel free to ask
Hi,
I have H60-L02 version with B307 from some time now and lately I noticed that, without warning, one or both sims are been disconnected from network, putting me in the situation in which I cannot make or receive calls. If I change from 2G to 3G on sim 1 it reconnects.
The fact which is more annoying is that in disconnected state on the status bar it shows that I have network signal on both sims. For checking if I'm effectively connected to network I have to go in "Settings-About phone-Status-Network" and verify the Service state.
Anyone had this problem, and if so, is there a workaround ?
Thank you.
I got similar problems with the SIM card. I've got the international h60-l04 on stock firmware with one SIM slot and the mobile connection fails every time. The Status Bar says there is a connection, but it isnt stable. It switches every few seconds.
I tried to delete the APN, forcing 2G and 3G and havent got a sollten, yet. I first thought it's a firmware failure.
Is there any solution for this? I have the similar problem as well... My model is H60-L02.
Thanks..
Need help guys. Hopefully this is okay since I'm using the S6 regular Dual-sim Philippines model. I'm using 2 sims (Globe and Sun network) and I always use my Globe network for mobile internet since it's faster. Now, when I use the LTE capable network for mobile internet for a couple of minutes (possibly hours as well), both of my sim cards would suddenly shut down (their mobile icon turns hollow, mobile internet disconnects. Sorry I can't provide the screenshot since i forgot while making this post). After a while, both networks will have their signal back and I can resume browsing again. This usually becomes a problem when i play online games since the game constantly checks for a working internet connection and it cuts me off the server if i'd lose my internet for a few seconds. What i've tried is that I'd turn off the other sim card (Sun sim card) but since I also use this sim for communicating with people, I can't turn the sim off permanently. Can someone please enlighten me on what to do or what might be the problem? Is this supposed to happen to the dual-sim variant of the S6? Hope you can help me out guys.. Sorry for the long post though.
TLDR: Using dual-sim variant of S6 (Philippines). Using two sim card networks (one for internet, one for texting/calling). When using mobile internet (LTE mode) for a couple of minutes or hours, both sim networks would suddenly shut down and I would lose my internet connection. Turning the non-internet network/sim off somehow fixes the issue but I need both networks on since people would call me at the non-internet network sometimes. Is this expected from a dual-sim variant or is there anything i could do to fix this. Thanks guys!
Is VoLTE activated?
Good evening I turn to you because I have a problem with my slot sim 2 I do not have a 4G. When I activate it I have no network. Roaming and any other settings sound activated. At least I hope so.
Although the phone tells me that the network is available, I can not call or receive calls (same for SMS). On the other hand, a priori, no problem to access the internet via 3G. When I try to call I have the following message: Mobile network not available
Help me
Have you tried any other SIM?
You need to go into your mobile network setting and Dual Sim setting to make sure Sim 2 is active.
Now if you want Sim 2 to use 4G you will have to select this in the Dual Sim setting. By default Sim 1 is the default mobile settings.
At any one time 2 sim are in the device only one will use 4G or 3G the other will use 2G.
here are the tests I made with reboot
