Hi guys, don't know if it's possible, is there any dev that could port HDR+ function of Nexus 6 (which has the same camera, with the addition of OIS) on our OPO???
There are many excellent camera for our device but i think that this could be a great added value for our device.

Only CM can do this because it requires updated lib files

HDR+ depends on full support of the new Android camera HAL (source). It is theoretically possible that we could have our own non-Google Camera version of HDR+ since our camera app apparently has direct control over shutter speed and ISO, but it would have to be written by Cyanogen from scratch since the Camera Next app is closed source. I think we have a better shot at getting full Camera2 support in the coming year than we do getting a custom version of HDR+.

Yeah, i've read that. Also Clear Image is a sort of HDR+ but results aren't as good as the original (they work in slight different way), in the original post i meant the porting of the whole official feature of Nexus 6 ( i don't know what have to be ported, maybe camera driver) to work with OPO. I also think that you're right, opo shot performances will be better with cm12s (they have rewritten camera driver to have camera2 support already in the first release, i read it on reddit...)
Hello! I have been using A2 Lite for about six months now. I liked Mi phones. But I think A2 Lite is not up to mark as per the price charged. Especially, Android One experience. It lacks lots of features as compared to other MI phones in this range running on MIUI.
What are your thoughts on this?

That's the point of this phone. Stock android with no features. That's why you do your research before buying something. You could've bought Redmi 6 Pro which is basically the same device with MIUI rom.

I did my research before buying the phone. The hardware specs are great of this phone, I'm talking about software features.

Some very basic features, like scheduling a SMS, adding speed dial number, double tap to wake etc. Its camera's hardware is good, but it's software is not.

So, why dont you try custom rom? Btw, sms scheduling works with non-native app. Dt2w - Iam using fingerprint unlocking, the fastest. And I dont think miui has this feature.

Exactly what I said. You should've bought the Redmi 6 Pro then. Which means you didn't do your research.

I wanted app drawer, that's why I didn't go for Redmi 6 Pro.

Redmi 5A and Note 4, both have Dt2w, and they both run MIUI.
I bought this phone specifically because it didn't have MIUI on it.
Stock Android, unlockable bootloader. It's the first phone I've had that gets security updates too.
I've had it for a few months now and I still love it.
MIUI suck, give so many features that u might never use.
Those features consume CPU and battery, while stock Android has lesser feature but any feature you want you can just get them from PlayStore.
My last Xiaomi phone (Mi 4i), became super laggy until cannot unlock the screen.
Turn out it was MIUI fault because it became normal again after I flashed it with custom ROM.
From my point of view it's the perfect Android terminal.
I only miss one feature from MIUI : Scheduled turn on and off :crying:

Try flight mode, almost zero consumption. -+1%/night
This phone absolutely lives up to its price point of the $159 I purchased two of them at. Great screen, great battery life, decent processor that can handle mostly everything except high end gaming, metal body, 2 of 3 American LTE bands for T-Mobile, FM radio, IR blaster, security updates monthly with Android One. MIUI is a dumpster fire and if you wanted MIUI you should've bought a Redmi.
It's a great phone.
I'm still wondering why so many people who prefer MIUI over stock android bought the A2 Lite instead of the Redmi 6 Pro which is even cheaper. Personally, I wouldn't even touch a MIUI phone with a pair of pliers.

Yes I know but love to turn off during the night. Anyway, doesn't matter so much. Thanks
I am one of the users who has the problem of slow wifi in 2.4ghz when the bt or gps is active. The problem arises from the month of December following the update to android P. From December to today Xiaomi has not produced any patch to solve this serious problem. For me this is a serious bug and leads me to say that it was not a good buy.

I flashed a custom rom on mine and have no such problem, actually no complains about the device. It's just hardware, with a proper OS on it (stock is never that) it works really good.
I bought this smartphone right after it was available version 4/64. I can tell is the best smartphone i never had, The best quality/price ratio, Battery last 9 hours sot, now you can install many custom rom, gcam makes photos great.... its fast and the display is great. Im totally satisfaited with this device. If you miss Miui than its you that bought the wrong models phone

Which rom did you use? Does it support gcam?
Does ANX Camera APK support Realme 5 Pro and also 48 MP
Wanted to ask the same question as ANXCamera offers EIS in 4K video.
Would be great if somebody could make ANXC work on Realme 5 Pro.
No. Although ANX camera is suposed to work with 48 megapixel I tried several versions and fixes for it without success. I'd not bother with anx camera until it officially supports out device (I doubt it'll).
Hi,
Isnt there any realme camera that provides you this features?

GCam does
Can this feature from the S21 be brought to the Z Fold 2? Or maybe it's already there and I just can't find it?
I remember this feature on my S8 on Android 8 and loved using it for capturing vacations and especially amusement parks!
It'll most definitely be there in oneUI 3.1 but if you want to use the stock camera app, you'll have to wait for that update. Not sure if other camera apps are capable of something similar though.

Apparently it is not included in stock 3.1
I take photos for work on fabrics and carpets. I need an excellent camera phone that takes photos with colors as similar to real colors as possible.
What is the best android phone for my needs?
