working gcam for redmi s2 [WORKING METHOD]

Hello guys I tried many gcam apk but all of it cannot be install in this device because of the 32 but os. Also some of gcam installed but when opened , it crashed. So I found this one apk gcam that can only work with hdr+ only. There is no potrait and the front camera doesn't work but its okay for me to get the hdr+ working on this redmi s2/y2.
Requirements
• unlocked bootloader
• rooted redmi s2
• camera 2api enabled
Install this gcam and u can try the camera will working properly but just with hdr+ feature.
You can see the different between the gcam and stock camera

GCAM for custom ROM Android 10

I tested this version, front camera works with hdr+ in Redmi note 5 global version, I'm using last havoc 3.4

Thank you for posting this. I just installed LineageOS 17.1 and microG-GmsCore and got only crashes when using GCAM posted in this thread .
So far your version works fine for me as long as Sabre is disabled:good:

Pixel 3 Face Unlock

Hi Community,
i have a little question and i hope somebody can help me with a simple answer.
For 3 month i had a Oneplus 6t, with root and the Custom Rom PixelExperience MOD Edit:- Links Removed. A great rom i think.
I mentiont that in that rom there is the option for face unlock and that the rom based on a Pixel 4 Image. Correct me if am i wrong.
So the question is obviously, why is the face unlock feauturenot ported for the Pixel 3 Models (Android 10)?
I found a Magisk Modul for Android 9, but after that version it dosn´t work.
So what is the different on the OP6t?
I thought i could simple modify the build.prob but of course that dosn´t work. :silly:

[MOD] [Android 10/MIUI 12] [Magisk] Working GCAM + GCAM-Enabler

Hey guys, since enabling GCAM on the most recent official ROMs was a bit problematic for most, I thought it would be better to have a new thread as we don't have one specifically for MIUI12/Android 10 yet, and with this thread you don't have to scroll through all comments to find the solution.

As I use the xiaomi.eu MIUI12 beta rom, I went for this enabler: Miui 11-12 Gcam Enabler.zip (flash with Magisk)
The Gcam version that worked immediately for me is this one: MGC_6.2.030_Bulkin043_V5TR.apk
[Known issues]
MIUI camera breaks, Whatsapp web QR code scanner breaks (but regular Whatsapp camera works!)
Also good to know: If HDR processing takes forever, look into the settings, there's one that should prevent infinite processing.
If anyone thinks that he found the best Gcam mod for our device tell us which one so I can add it to this post!

How to:
After flashing "Miui 11-12 Gcam Enabler.zip" by Magisk, I installed "GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1.apk" and imported the config of Xiaomi Poco F1.
I also tried "F1v9.6_6.2.030.apk", it worked perfectly too.
Known issue:
Stock camera breaks.

i made a new folder on the share (hypercam) and put another camera with configs. if you feel like experimenting

A Better [BEST] GCam for Redmi Note 8 [9 : PIE] [ AUX LENS ]

This GCam is tested on Redmi Note 8 without root, without unlocking bootloader, no custom roms , no system settings , latest MiUi version 11; based on Android 9 PIE ?
What is not working
1. Macro ,
2. 48MP camera,
3. Portrait mode will work if Android version is 10
EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING FINE
