Just try disabling usage access first. You need root to adb remove it entirely. I don't think there's a need for that, however.

Thanks. I disabled myself from using it.

I do not have the option to disable nor can I force stop.

I used this pm user-disable method:

Hi, same issue here. even deleted digital wellbeing, no extra apps or anything. I am getting 2 hours screen on time. Also phone heats up when using camera. even did factory reset. Overnight it drains 20% on idle. I don't know what to do. Google support asked me to send in the device for check / replacement. Should I do that? Or is there a solution?

You don't need root, via adb you can delete every app u want without root. I'm totally stock on my phone and deleted it with adb command's.

That works. I'm not a big fan of tracking my usage so I'll go with it for now. I didn't see any battery drain from having it but now it's gone. And if I wanted to reinstall it then just Play Store version I presume?
edit: So to remove it use the above command and then reboot. To reinstall as a system app, PS and then update the app if asked, then reboot and it's back in settings. I'm going to uninstall it again and run for a while to see if anything changes.

Yeah sure. Later give feedback here buddy. Im thinking of it is only placebo.

I've my feedback. I removed it and yeah it's a placebo.

It is said that it does. I would never use something like that so I'm not sure if enabling usage access will affect battery life. I can't imagine it would be more than a few percentage each day if you want to use it.

[APP] [HOW TO] [ROOT] Vodafone Wallet with rooted devices

Hi Vodafone users,
you have already noticed that the new payment app Vodafone Wallet do not work with rooted devices. It asks for su support and has a FC.
Here my easy instruction that let it work with root.
You only need to set in shell blocking su with the xposed module xprivacy (full version).
Kind regards

Please help me, i try your instruccions and always Fc, clase force., if you up a images of proccesing i Will very happy with you.
A lot of thanks for your time
The thing is that it work only for a few minutes. U only need to set blocking su in shell.
When it FC you must give the app all rights and open it with the root warning then block su and open it again.
It is not a stable solution but it works.
Regards Peterle
There's a Cydia variant, too.. Instead of the Xposed Variant you could try this. Heard it works better for a lot of apps.

I'm using an LG G3 rooted, I used rootCloak, added vodafone wallet to the list of apps, and after force stopping the wallet and starting it again it worked flawlessly.

Did you alo install SElinux Mode Changer and Cydia Substrate as described in the rootcloak instructions?
I want to give it a try and I am not sure if I really have to install all three packages.

Did you try calling costumer service? I got that message before using rootcloak, but after that it just worked. I would bet it's the sim that is not working properly.

Partial wakelocks E6653 on Nougat 7.1.1

I've noticed that this particular thing was running at about 33% of the partial wakelocks the other day and I assume it was the culprit in running my battery down very fast. Like to know what it is - google isn't being too kind.
*job*/com.google.android.apps.nbu.files/.spamdetector.SpamService
Something to do with Gmail app perhaps ? Betterbattery stats was app I used to ascertain this.
What is this problem child and what can I do about it ?
Actually after a restart and 8 hours uptime it's showing 10% today so perhaps it's settling down ?
It has previously been rooted and has it's bootloader unlocked but it's back to 'standard' now - unrooted
I used a clean FTF and Flashtool (by Androxyde) to rewrite the system after I had previously rooted it and had Cyannogen on it. It doesn't need root to run better battery stats, as I installed it using some ADB commands which give it more permissions. Have also used some ADB commands, (re cmd appops set com.xxxx.xxx app RUN_IN_BACKGROUND ignore) to prevent some specific apps from running in background.
Am just not sure of how to deal with this particular item as I don't know what it is.
*job*/com.google.android.apps.nbu.files/.spamdetector.SpamService is service from this app i think store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files
Are you installed it? If so, try to uninstall it.

Still here :/
Yellow Pages
I used this command - pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.huawei.yellowpage - Ran twice to make sure it was removed.
Yellow Pages still show up in dialer. Just press 1 or 0 on keypad.
The stock dialer does not have option to select all to clear call list.
Anyone know of a replacement dialer that does not vacuum all the information from my phone?

Is there any way to completely disable the Zen feature?

I plan on rooting my OnePlus 7 Pro when I get it.
I really don't want to have anyone turn Zen mode on (I don't plan on using it at all). It's pretty stupid that OnePlus didn't require authentication before entering Zen Mode (so you'd have to authenticate before Zen actually locks your phone down). Since they didn't do that, did anyone make a mod (magisk or otherwise) which completely nukes the feature?
i'll make one if u want to try it out
I'd love to, although I won't be receiving the 7 Pro for another week probably, I gotta get it forwarded from the US.
I really want that thing disabled. Ideally in a Magisk module or just generally something that won't break SafetyNet (because I use Google Pay)
no prob i'll get it ready
Thank you! I'd recommend making a post on the mods section and linking it here, rather than just giving me the zip, so that everyone could enjoy preventing their friends from bricking their phones!
Plus, if it's a Magisk mod, we can just use the built in applock to secure Magisk, and BAM! Phone secured!

you need an app like "app inspector" or "package name viewer" something that can get you the full name of the folder of the apk.
once you do that
in windows adb with usb debugging on
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.whatever.whatever
and then to enable again
adb shell pm enable <package_to_enable>
deleted
I did that using adb, but instead of disable i uninstalled it.
I just froze it in TiBackup
Same here, Froze it with TB...
I tried to do it through termux with magisk module debloater(termux emulator) but couldn't find it looked through all sections but it's not in there any ideas?

Question Poco X5 Pro - "Just a sec..."-stuck after debloating

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
after following this guide "https://www.getdroidtips.com/debloa...a721140e630405d90df6bdbdd5ab10#comment-279361" for uninstalling unwanted apps, I've restarted my phone after disconnecting it from the computer. Now it is stuck showing me a "Just a sec..." message. I can use the drop down menu, open settings and navigate there. The normal desktop however wont appear.
I can not flash my phone, i still have to wait 168 hours to unlock my bootloader. Is there anything i can do at the moment? I've read somewhere that the system is trying to reinstalll gApps but is unable to do so.
Thank you all for your support!
Best regards,
Nianmor

Use the same program that allowed you to delete the apps.
Except you reinstalled.
Maybe the phone will not be visible in this case you have to use adb commands and remember uninstalled apps.
Try recovery mode, you may be able to reinstall the package over wifi.
That seems like a "delete sys32" joke
