Mi Note 10 in Europe is rebranded version of the Mi CC9 Pro launched in China.
Mi Note 10 is priced at EUR 549, but Mi CC9 Pro EUR 409.
Can i change China ROM Mi CC9 Pro to Global ROM Mi Note 10?
there are many guides already available online for other xiaomi devices but the procedure is generally identical, just go and google it yourself.

thats true, thats why i bought mi note 10.
hi there
of course you can.. it's very simple, just unlock the bootloader, download the global fastboot rom and flash it.. you can use the xiaomi flash tool or just the flash-all.bat, which i use all the time..
there are two things you need to know, first no band 20, but for me in swiss it's not a big deal, we use b3 b7 and b20.. i expect in 85% of my locations to have 4g..
the seccond thing is, you must not relock the bootloader after flashing an globoal rom on an chinese device, otherwise you'll brick your phone..
I bought a Xiaomi CC9 pro from china but I cannot seem to be able to find a global rom for it , can someone guide me in the right direction please.

As Mi Note 10 is still new, you need to wait a while until there is a fastboot rom (global). You can first apply for the unlock of your phone (needs 7 days). Maybe you can find the fastboot rom after 7 days.

you're right, there are two different types of rom, normal one for the mi updater app on the phone self and the fastboot one. switch from china to global or global to china needs an fastboot rom and therefore an unlocked bootloader.

i already applyed for an unlock, till 150 hours to wait.. hopefully there will be an global fastboot rom in an week..
what will happen if I flash this rom 11.0.5.0PFDEUXM on my chinese rom cc9 pro with the mi updater app on the phone ?

i think it will end with an brick from your phone..
step one: unlocking the bootloader is an must
step two: flashing the rom with mi flash tool, but related to the xiaomi forum, an fastboot rom to switch from china to global or the other way is also an must

I guess that means I gotta wait.
I have already unlocked my CC9 Pro. I am now waiting for the fastboot rom. I need the global rom because I can't use Nova Launcher in Chinese Rom. It's blocked to be the default launcher. Otherwise, I can live with the Chinese Rom.
And waiting for TWRP...

TWRP is already available. So does the Xiaomi.EU ROM
So people can move ROM already. As long as their BL already unlocked
On Tuesday I can unlock bootloader, so I try.

Thanks. In the first few trial, it doesn't work. But after a couple of hours, it works. It's just like Google contact syn. It doesn't work at the beginning but after a while, it works.

Hey all,
So I got a Chinese version of the RN7 Pro and it obviously has the Chinese ROM on it.
I want to put the global ROM on the phone, is it safe to flash the global Indian ROM or do I need to first unlock bootloader or something similar?
Thanks

I had the same China Rn7 pro, If you want Global/Indian rom, you must first unlock your bootloader and after that you can safely install global rom to your rn7 pro.
Alright, thanks.
Now the wait begins. But if a mission being on the China ROM and have to use some work around to get certain things done - like import contacts and Google apps etc.
Making a plan though!

Hi, I just got the following links in another thread. I am yet to flash, but this is what I was provided:
Indian ROM - https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/...-2#post-487769
EU ROM (Stable) - https://forum.xda-developers.com/red...mi-eu-t3930319
EU ROM (Developer) - https://forum.xda-developers.com/red...mi-eu-t3931028
Hope this helps
The MIUI.eu ROM is available as well, I'm currently running it and some issues I had on the China ROM are gone.

Normally you can always go back to an official ROM and also relock the bootloader as long as there is fastboot working. Not tested on the Mi CC9/9 lite yet (still waiting), but on several other phones. However if you have second thoughts, maybe you should not do it at all Be always prepared that the device will be bricked and all data is lost.

thanks for the reply. seems like there's a really old official mitools software for that purpose though I have not tried it. I asked this question in some other thread and got some response, but I have gone ahead and flashed the xiaomi.eu rom. I am going to try this next since everyone says it's more power efficient.
There's been updates on the official site to 9.10.17. Wondering why this thread's not been updated. Any feedbacks from users on the stability and efficiency of this ROM? Also xiaomi.eu seems to have gone for MIUI 11, wondering if Revolution OS has made similar update as well.
At anyrate, I'm just grateful for people who work on these ROMs for the rest of us, or else I'd be stuck with bloatware for weeks and months in spite of the outstanding hardware.
Will it work with the mi 9 lite variant?

Waiting for next release, December 24.
can someone please help me i flashed this rom and now my phone doesnt start it gets as far as the mi logo but it only keeps flashing on and off i cant enter bootloader recovery or anything else
Flashing this s*** on Mi 9 lite will result hardbrick, no fastboot, no boot, no recovery, damged bootloader... Avoid this rom both cc9 and mi 9 lite users if you don't want to make your phone into brick..
I see no differente features from Xiaomi.eu

If you wanna stay on stock ROM, just use MiFlash (check the "clean all" option on the bottom) and fastboot ROM for Global version you wanna use. You don't need custom recovery.

Please note MIUI.EU and EU region firmware is difference. MIUI.EU based in global firmware code MI. EU region is EEA with EU firmware code. don't get it wrong.
1. Miui.eu is better for me with less bloatware and still keep miui feature. Use since mi 6x and old poco f1.
2. Indonesian language include in miui.eu
If you want try it UBL and flash global first with MI code firmware last version. Step in Miui.eu rom thread.

You can but it's not recommended. Different rom regions use different persist.img (use a hex editor to read it). A different persist.img has different data offsets and it can mess with things like Mi account, compass and different sensors, activation data etc.
Le:fastboot won't flash persist.img even if it's present in the ROM folder. You can flash persist.img from twrp but again, not recommended to flash another version of it.

My main issue now in 12.0.1 is the dynamic refresh rate or something like that makes gaming experience like a crap as hell even if i stay in fixed 60Hz refresh rate
