How to check if the device is encrypted with android10? - ASUS ZenFone 6 (2019) Questions & Answers

I initialized the device after updating to Android10. Then it seems that my smartphone's full disk encryption has been disabled. It seems that another encryption method is supported in android10. Is there a way to check if this is enabled? Also, please let me know if there is a procedure to re-enable device encryption if it is disabled.

Android 10 uses file-based encryption instead, I read.
So it likely turns off your full disk encryption.
Just guessing.
How to check that it is working I have no idea.

Was self resolved !!

Unlock method option disappeared from settings

I know it might because of the KNOX and I know it will disable some options like USB debug due to some sort of "security policy". But I uninstalled it one day ago, rebooted this phone 3 times, now the USB debug is working but unlock method option still not appear in the settings. Does anybody know how to get this thing out? Any help will be appreciated

Hi,
If you need to recover your wifi router's password, they come with reset buttons so you can change it to something you can remember.
Gaining access to wifi any other method falls out of scope of XDA, so this thread is now closed.
Thank you.

Not at all on full stock. That's just how Android works now.
Sent from my HTC U12+ using XDA Labs
1) that's file-based encryption and you can't turn it off
2) encryption is good
3) if you want to turn off the encryption code on boot, turn off 'Secure Startup'
4) encryption is good, learn how to use it and you shouldn't have a problem

Preventing update to 10?

I recently got a seasonal job that requires an app, and that app will not work on Android 10 or 11. So in order to perform this job, I had to downgrade my 3a to Android 9. Now I need to prevent it from updating to 10.
I turned off the auto update in developer options, but the phone keeps implying that if I restart, it is going to update to 10. And I can't have it do that.
Am I understanding this correctly? How do I ensure that it won't update? I don't want to do a restart, only to find I can't use this app anymore, and can't work.
