I recently got a seasonal job that requires an app, and that app will not work on Android 10 or 11. So in order to perform this job, I had to downgrade my 3a to Android 9. Now I need to prevent it from updating to 10.
I turned off the auto update in developer options, but the phone keeps implying that if I restart, it is going to update to 10. And I can't have it do that.
Am I understanding this correctly? How do I ensure that it won't update? I don't want to do a restart, only to find I can't use this app anymore, and can't work.

The VR apps in my phone are not updating. Whenever the update notification comes, I click on accept and update but then instead of updating it keeps on saying download pending. I have tried with mobile data and multiple wifi connections but the result is the same. What should I do?

Even after restarting the phone and after about 2 days the apps are still pending in downloading the update and they can't be removed by swiping.

I recently purchased Realme 5i, and when it was updated, the stated latest version is RMX2030EX_11_C.53. However, since I wanted to test out the smooth scrolling feature, impatiently I went to the Realme India software update website to obtain the latest version. It was successfully installed, but then later after further research, I realized that each region has its own intended ROM. Is there a way for me to revert to my default ROM (Malaysia)?

I've upgraded to Android 11, and Android Auto stops working with the car (shows me "no installed apps works with this USB accessory"). I've tried to reinstall/downgrade AA - doesn't help, removed microG (vanced) - doesn't help.
Any thoughts?

Why would you install china firmware?
Because of: Call recording + network indicator.
Had no other options but to root the device.No issues anymore.
I have used the best gcam ever I have tested but its not working on any android 11 rom. It works on every android 10 rom tho, but those have so many bugs that they are unusable. is there any method to run that app in compatibility mode of android 10 ? I have tried apk editor and edit it to sdk version 30 still that error.
