Device sources are also different because official ones aren't updated at all, so maybe kernel version and behaviour will be little different.

Audio playing on multiple outputs
Hi All,
Firstly thank you very much for providing this ROM with the latest security fixes - everything important is working fine and I have also better battery life than in the AOSP Extended 8 ROMs.
However I have one problem that did not exist in the previous ROM. I use AirAudio (in combination with the Magisk AirAudio module) to stream any sound from the phone to a DLNA audio output. Usually when I activate the AirAudio streaming the sound on the phone stops and the output is redirected to the DLNA speaker. In this ROM though the audio plays on the phone and also on the DLNA speaker.
I contacted the AirAudio developers and they responded that this is a problem with an incorrect audio implementation in the custom ROM I'm using as they have seen this before. This is what they wrote:
-------
I assume you have a custom ROM, eg. Pixel Experience installed?
There are some ROMs around at the moment that have a broken implementation of the audio-driver.
Android-devices MUST only play the audio locally _or_ remote via AirAudio, this is defined by Google.
I think you have to wait for an update of your ROM or switch to another ROM like others did :-/
-------
Is this something that could possibly be taken into consideration for a future update as this means I cannot stream audio from all sources (e.g radio apps and Spotify)to any DLNA output.
I really like AOSP Extended and would rather not switch to a different ROM.
Many thanks,
herges

I only compile unofficial builds. You can try to contact AospExtended devs, but mind that Pie entered final state and they're focusing on Android 10 now. However if the problem can be fixed with some simple patch in sources and it wouldn't affect anything else in negative way, I am willing to apply it to my builds.

Mobile data is not turning off from QS. I have to click airplane to switch it off completely.

I dirty flashed this ROM over official build yesterday and everything was fine, but today I was just checking out LOS 17, and then decided to roll back to this ROM, so I clean flashed this ROM, but after clean flashing the mobile data wasn't turning on.
And my SD card wasn't getting detected either. It lead to a lot of mess because I was not able to flash the official build either which was also in the SD card, I can't connect my phone to computer either because the USB port of the phone is bit defected, when I did managed the SD card to get detected, the recovery wasn't installing the official build. I tried to install los17 again and it worked.
Right now I am using los 17 and I would really like to go back to aex pie (official or unofficial) can someone help?

Hi,
I went and installed the official ROM and there the audio routing using AirAudio works correctly so something must have got broken when you recompiled this using the latest security fixes.

It works for me, make sure you don't have any app with root access, which can block it.

I think you broke your firmware partition so network drivers (wifi, mobile data) don't work. Try to flash official xiaomi firmware (not ROM). https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...lopment/firmware-xiaomi-redmi-note-4-t3760917

This ROM is different than official one, because it has different device sources, the issue is caused by dotOS device sources. You can try to contact devs of some ROM where AirAudio works and ask them how they fixed it or use official one.

I think firmware does not get affected when ROM is changed/messed with, also the mobile data was working when I was using the los 17 (which I flashed after this rom wasn't turning on the mobile data).
I did a lot of things that I don't remember now (rebooting into recovery couple of times helped with the sd card detection issue), but in the end I was able to clean flash the official build with opengapps.
I can't be sure but I think bitGapps is responsible for this mess, which I used with LOS 17.
The order of ROMs on my phone from yesterday is aex official (everything fine)> aex unofficial (fine)> los 17 (I think the problem started here when I flashed bitGapps)> aex unofficial (no mobile data)> los 17 (mobile data works)> aex official (everything fine).
Thanks anyway for your help.

Flashed Pixel Experience and mobile data worked. Flashed AEX unofficial again and it doesn't.

Introduction
This is a UNOFFICIAL build of LineageOS for the Samsung Galaxy Core Plus.
It's not ready yet and has some bugs in it which could cause problems to some users.
The ROM will only work on the SM-G350 Version of the Phone (without any Numbers/Letters behind).
This ROM could be used for daily use now (though you should look at the list of what doesn't work first).
Known Bugs
Camera sometimes switches to green-purple. The resulting picture doesn't have the weird color, but it may be flipped and/or distorted at the edges.
Video Recording
Codecs (some work, some don't. I tested MP4 and AVI, both work. I should really make a list...)
Installation Instructions
Special thanks to @Giovix92 for making this tutorial!
Requirements:
1: A computer with Windows.
2: An Internet connection.
3: A backup of your phone data (contacts, photo, music, videos, and other).
4: About 300 MB free space on your SD card.
5: Phone charged at least 80%.
Download links are below
I do NOT take any responsibility for bricked devices!
Let's start!
1: Download the Samsung USB Drivers.
2: Download the ODIN3. (Only for Windows)
3: Download the TWRP Odin package to your desktop and download the LineageOS 13 zip to your SD card.
4: Make a backup of your files, because the storage will be wiped. (External SD card will not be wiped)
5: Reboot your phone in to the Download mode (Volume Down- , Home- and Power button). Press the Volume Up button when asked. Then open the ODIN3 and connect your phone to your PC.
6: Press AP and choose the TWRP Odin package (recovery.tar) and make sure re-partition is NOT ticked. "Auto-Reboot" should not be ticked either, otherwise you will need to be quick to boot into the recovery immediately after flashing.
7: Press start! Wait a few seconds. Then your phone will be rebooted. Now you can disconnect the cable and power off your phone.
8: Boot your phone in to the TWRP Recovery (Volume Up-, Home- and Power button).
9: Go to Wipe, and Swipe to Factory Reset.
10. After wiping go to the home screen by pressing the home button.
11: Go to Install. Choose the "external_sd" from the top bar. (It says "Storage: Internal Storage (xxxxMB)" by default)
12: Choose the LineageOS 13 ZIP and Swipe to Confirm Flash. Make sure you don't power off while flashing!
13: After the zip has been flashed choose "Reboot System".
14: Wait 5-15 minutes to boot the phone. If the phone keeps booting take out the battery and do a Factory Reset again.
15: When the phone boots the first time, go through the Setup Wizard and you are ready to use your phone!
If there was something you didn't understand, please don't hesitate to ask

Still working on that.
I just noticed that the sound sometimes "breaks" and sounds like damaged speakers (just for a part of a second, nothing permanent). I don't know if this is a software problem or just my phone. Can someone confirm that? It sometimes happens when doing a call or pressing random numbers at the Dialer. It also seems to happen only with standard sound level or higher.
I'll check it after I fixed (or tried to fix) Internet and SD Card
This is the same on stock when listening YT idk why it happens.
For the sdcard fix check if there are correct mounts for vold.fstab or framework
BTW. Videoplayback isnt working good on YT on Internet browser and is glitched too on chrome.

Well, i just red here "https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/official-cm13-nightly-builds-rolling-out-for-opo.411202/page-103" that its may be fault of the recovery. I dont think that we all got the same twrp though, is something you can test? i used santori's twrp, i had it flashed quite a time. maybe an update or a modification will solve that issue
I knew we need TWRP 3.x.x to install an Android 6.0+ Rom. So, the network issue, could be related to the recovery version.
We should to update the recovery first, to install Marshmallow (and up) on a smartphone

FAQ
Q. I've got bootloop when flashing using TWRP
A. Current TWRP is not fully compatible with cm14, you should flash ROM 2-3 times in a row to make it boot.
Do not use TWRP from https://twrp.me/ it will brick your phone - use this TWRP
Too good too be true!
Is this really stable to be used as daily driver already?
Any known bug?
What about disk space? Has anything changed compared to cm13? Could we use hinxnz's SD mods?
Thanks Ivanich!

I flashed cm14 1011 version together with opengapps stock with a custom config (that definitely fits into /system), it boots fine, but after
the "Turn on cellular data" screen, I get "Google Play services keeps stopping" error and I can't get pass this screen.
I've tried opengapps from different days, it's always the same. Any advice?, maybe someone got the same error. Thank you.
If I use a nano opengapps then it works, but I'm not happy with this config, wasted space in / system.

The problem is in Google WebView, CM14 not fully support it yet, just create gapps-config.txt and disable it (see in OpenGapps faq how to do it)

Look in CM13 thread in the FAQ items, just try to install a couple of times. This is for now normal behavior.
already flash latest build. 10.22
so far sd card permision seem already fixed but need several testing..
minor bug still pointed out but still ok for daily driver..
thank you ivanich
On cm13 I used the Adoptable storage feature of Android, by adopting the SD card as "internal storage",
and I could move to the adoptable storage almost any app, there were very few that did not move.
But now on cm14 I adopted the SD card the same way, but I can only move very few apps.
I think that now only the apps which have in the AndroidManifest app location to external or auto can be moved.
Is it a bug in cm14 of a feature of Android 7 ?

I've hacked framework in cm13 in order to allow moving most of the apps to the adopted storage, looks like I need to do the same thing with cm14.
Wait for the next build...
What's the difference between the 'Adaptable storage space' and using 'Hinxnz SD-ext boot mods'?
Which one do you prefer? why?

Current state of Nougat encryption

Since well functioning encryption seems to be a rarity these days, I decided to make a list for everyone interested in protecting their device. Majority of roms out there seem to have issues with it for some reason. Feel free to add in the comment section if you have tested other roms.
With "fully" working I mean that you can also mount /data with latest twrp (for e.g. omni currently fails in this regard). And please note that I mostly have tested the roms with everything EXT4.
FULLY WORKING
1. LinOs, tested 13.2. build
2. Slim7, tested 24.2. build
3. RR, tested 2.2. build
4. Tesla, tested 25.2. build
5. Validus, tested 25.2. build
CURRENTLY NOT WORKING
1. OmniRom
2. Nitrogen, tested 1.3. build
3. AOSP Extended
4. AOSPlusone
5. Android Open Source Project
list updated 6.3.2017
Any others? Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or if you have noticed that situation has changed.
I tried a fresh installation and encryption of RR onto my OPO and it wasn't a success; always responds that encryption was unsuccessful and had to end up wiping and re-installing. Can I ask what RR 7.11 release you were using so I can give that a try?

Currently, after testing Nitrogen, omnirom, AOSP extended, AOSPlusone, Android Open Source Project, LinOs, Slim7, RR 7.1.1, only the latter three have encryption working:
1. LinOs
2. Slim7
3. RR

I found this (my old post): https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70891641&postcount=3236
So if you find a build dated 5.2.2017 or earlier, it should work. At least mine did back then
But remember to format everything EXT4.

[ROM][7.1.2][UNOFFICIAL] AIM OS v2.5 for Lenovo A7600-F [MT6582][Port]

Hello to all you Lenovo A7600-F owners! I've Got yet another Android Nougat ROM ported to the Lenovo A7600-F Tablet! This one is very stable, smooth, and has the least bugs of any ROM i've ported to the A7600-F.
Android Version: AIM OS v2.5 (Android 7.1.2)
Security Patch Version: November 6, 2017
Kernel Version: 3.4.67 (kk)
First of all special thanks to:
-The AIM OS ROM team
-S M Nahid Emon (From romclaims.com for the portable MT6582 ROM)
Working:
-Wifi, Bluetooth, Root, Storage, etc...
-Camera (Pictures, Video)
-Youtube (Up to 720p30)
-Substratum Themes (Latest OMS Themes work great! Still smooth!)
-FM Radio
-GPS!
Not Working (kind-of):
-Camera video recording is laggy on default settings.
-FM Radio in loudspeaker mode (It only works in headphone mode)
-Let me know if you find something else.
Installation:
-Step 1: Don't download this ROM, I recommend you try this ROM instead. It is also ported by me but has far fewer bugs and has newer patches. Over a year later, I still see people installing this ROM ): Do yourself a favor and try out the newer one.
-Download Rom
-Download Gapps
-Backup your current ROM
-Flash ROM using TWRP 3.x.x.x
-Flash Gapps
-Reboot
Notes:
-To get brightness to change, turn off Adaptive brightness.
-Substratum seems to work best with root enabled (in Developer Settings) and after a reboot.
Downloads:
-TWRP Download
-ROM Download
-GAPPS Download (Choose ARM - 7.1 - pico or nano)
Emulated Storage Fix:
-For those of you who have wiped/formatted "Internal Storage" with my TWRP recovery, you will likely not have proper access to internal storage in this ROM. If you have internal storage issues try to flash this boot image to /boot with TWRP's builtin .img flash utility. Download storage fix image here.
Kernel Source: here
Changes:
-Revision 2:
Fix Storage issue (For people with physical internal storage).
Update Launcher to new Pixel Launcher 8.1 4429924
Removed unnecessary service startups related to SIM/Modem

Really good work. Thank you very much. This ROM is a new Life for this device. I have flashed a while ago and I'll test It this afternoon.
Hello. @SaberShip, I'd like to build RR on this tablet. Where can I find the device and the kernel source code for this device? Is it tough to build?
Thanks

Lenovo has the source on their developer pages I believe. I have not even messed with the source though, I've also heard that it might not be complete.

Ok cool! Thanks for that. I'll give it a try.
Anyway, given that you're trying to build RR as well... may I ask you where to find this needed stuff? I mean, I'll download the sources from Lenovo (which are for KitKat, according to their website); but you're not using these sources for RR and Nougat, right? Where can I find the sources you are using? Ahh or you may be using compiled kernel and device blobs, right?
Sorry for the off-topic; if further conversation is needed, I'll write you a PM instead.
Thanks again

Nope! Im just porting Roms right now. Which is to say, i'm taking Roms already built for other devices with the same SOC (MT6582 in this case) and doing whats needed to convert them to run well on the A7600-F.
No bugs so far, aside from weird background noise - every time I click something, like a playing audio file but with no sound for 3 seconds, speaker goes on and off..
/sdcard is not well mounted
First, thanks for your greeeaaat job !!! I've beginning to install 6.01 and now i try this version 7.1.2?
I've an error with quasi all apps i've installated (ex : EZ Pdf reader, SyncDrive). The error is /sdcard doesn't exist or "cannot access /sdcard". The integrated file explorer within the rom itself cannot open (no error message)
And, indeed, with ES File Explorer, when i click on /sdcard, it show an error...
Yes, I have this error too. If I try to download a file with chrome, it can´t because there is no sdcard

THX for the fast error fixes, but the internal storage error is still exist (in chrome /sdcard doesn't exist or "cannot access /sdcard". The integrated file explorer within the rom itself cannot open (no error message), when connect the tablet to the computer, no internal storage space). In TWRP when connect, the internal storage exist, you can copy files.

Thanks for the info. Strange, mine seems to work just fine. Iv'e tried from Chrome, built in storage manager, other storage managers, and over USB. They all seem to work fine for me.
Have you ever wiped data AND internal storage with TWRP? Perhaps the TWRP I ported isn't properly formatting the internal storage, this is one thing I haven't done since having stock on my tablet. I'll try it soon.

This is an unofficial Pie build for the S3 LTE (i9305) based on LineageOS 16.0.
!! Please note that all thanks and credits go to @ChronoMonochrome because he ported the necessary changes to t0lte and got Pie to work for that device, especially the kernel thingis!!
And below is a quote from his release, where he mentioned in his t0lte thread all the involved devs and credited to all the people helped to get pie running for our "old" devices.
This work is heavily based on works of PoisonNinja, Option58 (thanks for device tree, kernel and device patches for LOS 14.1).
A full credit for Pie bringup goes to rINanDO (thanks for device tree, kernel and device patches for LOS 16.0).

Hi, thanks for your great job!
Almost features are fine. I recognized only two stuffs for now.
** 1) phone call **
I set up a VoIP phone app on a phone which was flashed this rom, and called another phone.
The echo back is heard on the VoIP app side, but I could not hear the voice I talked on the receiving phone.
Do you think above phenomenon is related your attention "Call recording, call forwarding and else" or not?
2) FTU was appeared a few times
When I started using this rom, FTU appeared twice or more after I went through FTU.
But as for now I don't see FTU anymore. Thus, this is a trivial issue.
Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing the next updated version!
small update
Hi There,
gapps pico are working, but graphical glitches are occurring in youtube app, youtube browser is working fine, google films is working fine.
Bluetooth sending and receiving is working, device name is still wrong, shows still Galaxy Note 2, which does not matter and can be changed in settings manually.

What file should I download from the root link ?
new build is up: 20200122
Hi There,
made a new version nd its uploaded now.
Based on yesterday evening leo sources and small update in device source.
- Youtube App is now working and Google films too
No other bigger changes.
And since there are no reports yet about serious problems, I changed the status to from Beta testing to bBeta.
Whats App, Instagram, Facebook and other messengers as well as other social media apps needs testing and would be glad, if someone can report back.
GPS most probably won't work. I am getting no satellites and no fix

Im trying to install this custom rom but everytime I got stuck on LineageOS loading logo forever. Anyone have this problem too?
some problems...
on 20200118 ver.
1) following apps sometimes crashed.
LINE, Adobe photoshop express, Amazon Shopping, Proton Mail.
I felt these apps often crash especially when a first invocation and registering an account to every app via network.
After registered my account, crash frequency decreased.
2) following apps couldn't be installed by Google Play Store
LINE, Google Drive, Google Spreadsheet
* For LINE, I installed older apk manually.
I cannot download 20200121 ver. via AFH yet. I'll test further after the rom is updated.

Have you wiped out data, cache, and Dalvik cache before install the rom?
If you didn't yet, try it but ALL OF YOUR DATA WILL BE CLEARED!!
Be aware of what you're doing and do everything at your own risk.
I got the same issues .
I keep it stuck there for almost 40 minutes 2 times but it didn't work.
@rodman01
I intend to flash and test the ROM this weekend. However, I've issues to download it as AFH doesn't find any mirror. Do you have another DL available?
Another question: Anything against not to use your given and linked root solution but to use Magisk? As you provide a separate root solution, I assume Magisk is not incorporated into the ROM.

Depending on from which rom you are coming, it could be better to flash an other custom rom first. You can try RR or cm14 and test whether this is working. And if yes, that follow the steps in op for a new and clean installation. It can also depend on the recovery you are using.

Sorry for the issues with afh. I will try to fix it with uploading the version again.
@Oswald Boelcke no specific reason why I linked the root to leos. Magisk should work as in previous versions. I tested it a couple of weeks ago with a prototype version and it worked. So its worth to try magisc, yes.
Rom new uploaded, afh should find mirror now. Sorry for circumstances:

I could install all your mentioned apps via google play store. It last a bit, the download is not fast, but worked on my end. Amazon is crashing on my side too, the others not, but I haven't tested them much, because I don't have accounts or ids for for example photoshop express or want to create or share my phone number or personal details.
