Hello everyone. Sorry, I'm a noob so please be patient with me. My RN7P is rooted with Magisk, has Peter's TWRP and EdXposed. I have MIUI_V10.3.13.0.PFHINXM. How do I update to MIUI 11? Do i just download the Indian ROM (from here: https://www.xda-developers.com/download-miui-11-xiaomi-redmi-note-7-pro-poco-f1/amp/), and install it through TWRP, or do I also need to do something else, do I have to make sure that something is right? I just want to make sure that I don't break my device.
So, I just received the update from the updater app and I wanted to know, can I just download the package from there and flash it through TWRP?

Hey, everyone,
I just bought a new Mate 9 Lite [BLL-L23] and would like some help with how to make it my own. I am familiar with other devices - but, not the BLL-L23.
I am very appreciative, my friends! Here's what I'd like to know:
1. Does anyone know when we'll get Android Oreo (or, at the least, Android Nougat)?
-- I am currently running 6.0; EMUI 4.1.
2. Is there an official support forum for the BLL-L23?
3. Does anyone know how to root the BLL-L23 using Magisk or Chainfire (which is better)?
4. Is there a recent TWRP recovery available?
5. What else should I do to take full advantage of my device?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, EVERYONE!

I am currently downloading the latest full firmware, and I know it's not a problem to install it - but, when I check the Firmware Status, it says that the firmware is not approved for installation. Is there still a way to install it? What does this mean? Thank you very much, PalakMi ?

Mate 9 Lite is a rebranded H6x, OpenKirin's TWRP works fine. You can also use Firmware Finder for updating. Magisk works fine too. I think all Custom ROMs on this forum should work. I'm planning to flash RROS but I'm waiting for some bugfixes.
The only thing I suggest you is, if you want to update your Stock ROM, you MUST flash the right ROM for your device.

Hello. I prefer using magisk over SU. And I just wrote up a guide a few days back on how to do that (as long as your running Android Oreo/EMUI 8.

That's tough to answer.....it's all a manner of opinion really. I had slightly better SOT though in emui 5 (since its running Android Nougat) where as emui 8 us Android Oreo. Truthfully I flashed an AOSP ROM after I upgraded to emui 8 because once you go to emui 8 / Android Oreo, it enables treble support. I'm not a big fan of emui in the first place though. However, the AOSP ROM's are newer so they are still wip when it comes to working 100% for the huawei mate 9.
May I ask what custom ROM you are using? And how do you find it? What's your SOT?

Download firmware from http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/ (if available) and unpack update.app from update.zip
Open update.app in Huawei Update Extractor and extract ramdisk.img, this is the boot image file that magisk manager needs to patch.

Okay... Sorry for the delay.
You'll obviously have to go back to stock first. And then hisuite should work to upgrade to Oreo. Just trying to think what the best way to return to stock would be for your model version and get you upgraded to Oreo.
i see this requires Microsoft Windows. i only have Linux. any suggestions?

Too late... unless you've got a bootloader unlock code before July 24. Did you? I'll guess not, hence...no root for you, enjoy GPU Turbo and Pie (whenever that comes).

You can't if you aren't rooted
Enviado desde mi RMX1971
If my device is rooted, then does it just need to reflash from custom recovery with normal .zip rom file, is that true?
If you got the a15 update as zip file you can open it and edit the Meta-inf/google/android/updater-script file thus remove limitations set by Realmeme. Then you're good to go and flash it via twrp.
i want to downgrade from Realme UI back to Color O.S 6
Im using Realme 5 Pro - RMX1971EX_11_C.01 (Realne UI / Android 10)
Baseband - QV1P14,Q_V1P14
Kernel - 4.9.186
is it possible to downgrade using this firmware RMX1971EX_11_A.16 ?
Thanks so much

for now there's no fix because realmeui/a10 doesnt allow you to unlock bootloader, the only solution as of now is going to service center and ask them to downgrade for free. i also have the same problem
I would like to inform you with a step by step tutorial on the procedure for returning to a previous stock rom (OTA) release in REALME 5 PRO.
For example we would like from OTA
RMX1971EX_11_A.17 returns to previous OTA RMX1971EX_11_A.15
We look forward to your comments as soon as possible.

Hi,
Total noob here. I just bought a secondhand Oneplus 6 from a friend. It has HydrogenOS 10.3.5. I tried to install OOS but it says I am already on the latest version. So I am trying to root my device to install custom rom and etc. Please point me toward a guide to root hydrogenOS. I have searched but I am not sure which one is the right one for me.
Thanks

Search in xda collection of unbrick tool one plus 6. You can found 10.3.5 OOS there. Install according the direction there. Then follow how to root and Install custom Roms.
Hello, I'd like to know how to update oneplus 8T firmware before a custom rom update (if needed). Custom rom threads on XDA don't mention this topic, and I'm not sure that flashing everytime OxygenOS is the best solution.
