I was able to get it to work. I know one requirement was you had to be on the beta apk
I am on beta messages. I've done everything several times. I can't get it working.

Works on my Pixel and S8 but not my OP7P. I can't figure this one out. Could it a custom kernel issue?

Working on my OP7pro. But if you are using two sims, you may encounter problem: You can't get RCS on the sim not connected to data.
I don't even have the chat option in my beta but it works fine in my 100$ Xiomi phone, poor oneplus.

There was a new Beta build pushed out about 12 hours ago and RCS still works on it:

I don't think that should be an issue. I'm on an unreleased version of Kirisakura kernel and it worked for me after the 3rd time. I kept having to uninstall and reinstall Messages, followed the tutorial, and then got it working.
Any ideas why I don't even have the chat option available in Google Messages beta?

Same here, version 2.5.051. I have gotten it to work on all of my friend's phones, but mine lol. I give up
I give up too. I've tried several different ways to get it functioning. Both rooted and unrooted.
Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk
I finally got it working. These steps worked for me.
1. Hide Massages, Carrier Services, and Activity Launcher in Magisk.
2. Force close and clear data on Messages and Carrier Services.
3. Open Messages and set default.
4. Apply settings in Activity Launcher.
5. Force close Messages.
6. Open Messages and receive the upgrade prompt.

Are you rooted? if Yes, go ahead and flash the only ROM available, which is basically all DE bloated:fingers-crossed:

Oh my bad then, I haven't heard anything official yet, either way I will just recommend to disable, everything you don't use, even some system apps, and you can replace them with PlayStore apps, like calendar, calculator, clocks, browsers, I hope you get im what im saying :fingers-crossed:

Yup. I see posts from less than an hour ago saying they got in, so I must have missed it by minutes.
I just randomly went into the Galaxy Beta program and hit Accept and now it shows "Deregister" and told me thank you for my registration. I should be in now, is that correct? (US based)
Update: I'm in! Downloading the update as I type. Whoooooot.

Might try to force close the Galaxy Beta app and then re-open it and see what happens.
I literally posted here a minute or two after getting in.
Does this work with the U firmware? I downloaded the Galaxy Beta apk but always get a server error
I dont think it does, I am on U also, have to find the fastest way to get back to stock, dont want to have to download the whole restore file. can we force the back to stock?

Screw that then. Tired of putting everything back in my phone over and over lol
I was trying to downgrade my Pixel back to Oreo because of mostly app incompatibility (I should've taken that into account before I upgraded it, my bad) but everytime I tried to flash back to Oreo, I'm unable to do it because of the locked bootloader, I've been using recovery mode and adb sideload to try it, but I had a feeling it wouldn't work, can anyone recommend me any solutions to downgrade?
Edit: Well, I realized after looking for some answers on reddit, that I'm basically screwed for a while until DP2 comes out, so I'm still just hoping I can downgrade it but I might as well start accepting my fate.
+1. App compatibility in P makes my phone almost unusable, which is 100% my fault. Take note Verizon users. The changes in P aren't worth half your apps, including Google apps, not working.

Sounds like your gapps broke, factory reset
It did take me a factory reset to fix my problems, but data for games and such are gone as a result. The apps that wouldn't work for me are apps like Amazon Prime Video, Youtube, and xda feeds.
So is it worth upgrading my Verizon XL to P or should I stay on Oreo? If so, is there a thread describing how to do this?

If your bootloader isn't unlocked stay on oreo. Android P is still in beta and there are potential problems to occur and if your bootloader isn't unlocked you will be stuck in the beta from what I've heard
Could anyone get the latest Samsung Experience Home to go into landscape mode? Apparently we could now, but I'm still missing the setting in the homescreen settings area... Can someone help me?

I did that but still nothing...
Apparently it's a phased roll-out, and my firmware is still stuck on CRE1 since I have the unlocked model firmware, so I'll patiently just wait I guess

Ah, excuse my ignorance then lol.
You may have to add the Visible APN under Network Settings

No, not able to get visible to work after updating to Android 10, had to revert to 9.5.13. I tried using the apn-conf.xml from 9.5.13 but that didn't work either. Only other thing I can think to try would be replacing the telephony.db and CarrierInformation.db on Android 10 with the ones from 9.5.13.

Nope. You have to be on 9.5.13. Only pixels on Android 10.are compatible with Verizon Visible. I just got a new sim card to test drive their service and after working with support figured that Android 10 was the issue. So reverted back.
I was not able to get Visible to activate on OOS 10. I also had major problems with mobile data on OOS 10 with Google Fi. It appears that OnePlus has some major troubleshooting to do.
Maybe this would help. If your rooted
