[Q] Flashing lg g2 to pageplus

I want to buy a lg g2 from verizon and I would like to know if it can be flashed to pageplus. If it can where can i take it or can any body flash it for me online or how is it done.

yes, it is possible. had a sprint one working earlier but it was so slow...... i attemted reflashing and it will not stick now. i need help getting my 3g back :/

could you provide a guide if it is found here? I will only be using voice/text anyway so slow data is okay for me
..found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670&page=86 . but I'm running into error because I'm on 12b.
this post reference some other files to use with 12b but I don't know what to do with them

If you're on 12B then you need a recovery for 12B.

my phone just turns off when i do this. how do i know that it was flashed or flashed successfully?

I can only do basic flash becuase I don't have cdma ws. That's only way to write to get data on g2. I can try to this afternoon and make a video.

You will need cdma ws for that. And that is illegal and can not be discussed on xda

Question "Software Update temporarily unavailable"

hey guys. my phone is an unlocked Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stand I am rooted. The update just came out but when I try to check for an update my the phone said that it's temporarily unavailable. can anybody help to resolve this?

Try the verizon PC software. It can update your device.

If you are rooted, you need to unroot before upgrading. Even if you get it to go further it won't flash probably. Odin a factory oe2 or what ever your base is. After that upgrade.

A friend of mine, UNROOTED, got the same message, it has nothing to do with being rooted. The update servers were not responding on Verizon end, nothing more. He was able to do it later in the day with no changes.

I feel like it is because I am not using a Verizon sim so it blocks me.

Same thing happens with me and I also use a non-verizon sim card. Could you fix this?

I don't think so, but just waiting a few days and updating on Kies or the new version is just as good as an OTA.

You need a vzw sim card to use the built in software update.

I received a new update last night boi1. I was half asleep when I got it so I don't remember anything other than reading something about Samsung pay was part of the update

It's been live since the 27th. I like it a lot! I registered my Amex card and used it at a CVS and it worked perfectly. Not Rooting my phone has been worth the wait.

I'm sure it works everywhere but CVS generally has NFC terminals which I can pay with my rooted phone with Android pay

My CVS has the newer terminals with the NFC unit on top but the store has not activated it. So Android Pay and Apple Pay does not work. The manager said it is coming eventually but he didn't know when.

Go into the superuser app and disable root, setup your cards, then go back to the app and enable root, reboot and you're ready to go

Yep, I use my rooted S6 Edge and Android pay at Panera all the time. Just follow those instructions and you should be good.

lost Software upgrades

Hello All,
I have an unlocked AT&T LG G3 phone which I used with AT&T number till April 2015. Later, I left the country and now using it with Airtel.
After I left AT&T, there were 2 software upgrades for the phone, I received none.
I checked with AT&T, they said they will not support now, contact LG.
LG said, I will get updates when it is available, but no luck.
Can someone help ?? Thanks.

You cannot over the air update a D850 unless you are on AT&T.

No. Odin will fail to flash that. It doesn't work like that. Since you have T-Mobile, you can root that phone and flash a custom recovery and a different rom.. You'll be able to use it then, but not if you try flashing anything other than Sprint firmware through Odin.

Why a T Mobile Rom. I have a Sprint Note 5 and have been using it on T Mobile for past couple months

That has been my goal for a while now. .How did you accomplish that if i may ask??

Just put a t mobile sim inside. You have to then add T Mobile APN. Those deets can be found by googling

Ive read a few things here and there to try and do exactly what u accomplished (use a sprint on T-Mobile) every option i come accros ends up being a dead end unfortunately. I must be doing something wrong, but not quite sure where exactly. Rooting DIDNT work out very well for me and you know how With a T-Mobile SIM in sprint phone doesn't show you the netwrok settings?
Could you posibly guide me to accomplish this, my nicest prettiest please? ?
