I went through GSMArena and tried to find out the differences between the both and the 6 differences I found were:
1) Corning Gorilla Glass 5 vs Corning Gorilla Glass 6
2) DCI - P3 vs DCI - P3 100% (Clarify?)
3) No UFS Vs UFS (Clarify?)
4) 4000 mAh vs 4085 mAh
5) Wrap 30 vs Wrap 30T
6) Snapdragon 855 Vs Snapdragon 855+
Can anyone clarify that if the second and third points are and what differences does it make to the performance.
Also, I know both the devices use the same camera hardware so will 7 Pro too get all the camera updates as in the Macro Mode, Super Slow-Mo, Hybrid Image Stabilisation and Ultra Wide Portrait Clicks.
What are other differences?

None of both phones (7 or 7 Pro) have the Snapdragon 855+. And none have Warp Charge 30T.
I'm not sure which phones you are comparing on GSMArena.
Both are using the Snapdragon 855. Both have UFS 3.0 Storage.
Maybe take a look here: https://www.gadgetsnow.com/compare-mobile-phones/OnePlus-7-vs-OnePlus-7-Pro
I'm assuming you mean the OnePlus 7t pro vs the OnePlus 7 pro...
They both have ufs 3.0 storage. That allows faster read and write speeds. The cameras are the exact same but they moved the laser autofocus which is why the 7t pro can do the macro photos, I assume. The 7t pro comes with Android 10 on it. The 7t pro comes with only 8gb of RAM and 256gb onboard unless you get the McLaren edition, which comes with up to 12gb of RAM whereas the 7 pro can be configured with 128gb-512gb onboard and 6gb-12gb of RAM. The 7t pro adds the new haze color and the McLaren edition. Both have DCI p3 for the display. P3 is a color calibration. Same exact screen as far as I can tell. Everything else is correct. Also, just a note, the 7t pro is not available in US markets.

Idk, I want the blue color of the basic, neither the screen size of the ultra, and he processor body and amoled of the deluxe
The battery of the deluxe worries me but I think I will still take a risk and see how it goes.....
Is there a reason some SD820 phones can do dual sim with the second sim able to revert to 3G instead of 2g whilst other phones also with SD820 (like this one) still have the same old reverts to 2G issue?
unfoturnately is not ip68,
Zenfone 3 maybe will use Snapdragon 821. http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2016/6/7/11878486/asus-zenfone-3-snapdragon-821-chip

I like the soud of the ultra, I'm not even too phased by the 652 but 6.8" of screen is a bit too big. I think I'd feel like Dom Jolly off Trigger Happy TV.

deluxe version is super, it should be ip68, but rest of spec is nice...
Last month, Asus unveiled three brand new smartphones:*ZenFone 3,ZenFone 3 Deluxe, andZenFone 3 Ultra. While the company announced their prices, it didn't say when the handsets would be released. However, we now know that all three of them are expected to be launched on July 12 in Taiwan. According to Taiwanese website ePrice, this is an official release date revealed by Asus.

The metallic ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes in three flavors, with its top model offering pretty much all the best possible specs to date: 6GB of DDR4 RAM plus 256GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage (expandable by up to 128GB via microSD using the second SIM slot). But this will cost you NT$24,990 or about US$780. The remaining two variants are still based on the 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820, and you get either 4GB RAM with 32GB storage (NT$15,990 or about US$500) or 6GB RAM with 64GB storage (NT$17,990 or about US$560). It's worth mentioning that these are certified for Google's Daydream VR platform.

Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Comparison-Gadget2buy
One of the most awaited phones of the season is already here – the OnePlus 5T. Just after five months after the launch of OnePlus 5, the 5T has been launched for the mid-segment buyers with many new features and additions. It comes with a glossy new six-inch edge-to-edge display, improved design and an enhanced camera setup. No doubt it is an excellent phone with many features but the all-new OnePlus 5T faces a lot of competition from a number of other phones in the same segment and the most importantly from HMD Global's offering for the same segment, Nokia 8.
So before you decide which will be the best phone for you, let’s take a look at the features and specification of OnePlus 5T against Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Design and Display-Gadget2buy
Both the phones have a very attractive design.
The OnePlus 5T has a very familiar design. Like the iPhone 7 or any other new age phones, it has a smooth flat glass and metal body that curves at the edges. It has a design that has already been very well received and reviewed by smartphone users. With a huge 5.5 inches large bezel-less display and fingerprint scanner at the back, the phone is completely in line with the times.
The Nokia 8, on the other hand, does not sport a very flashy design but keeping up with its reputation as a sturdy and good looking phone. A slim phone with full metal body and a 5.3-inch Glance Screen Quad HD display. The display is bright and colourful with a Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen in case of a fall.
Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Features-Gadget2buy
Both the smartphones are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor. The Nokia 8 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage on board. OnePlus 5T comes in two variants- a 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage option. Both the OnePlus 5T and Nokia 8 come with Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat software.
In the battery front, the OnePlus 5T is powered by a huge and long-lasting 3300 mAh non-removable battery which supports Dash Charging, The Nokia 8, by comparison, features a 3,090mAh cell. But a smaller battery here does not less battery life. With a smaller bezel-less screen Nokia 8 fairs pretty well in battery life.
A few other features in Nokia 8 are Iris scanner, Fingerprint (touch), Touch sensitive control keys and Splash resistant body. The OnePlus 5T only has a fingerprint scanner but is not splash resistant.
Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Camera -Gadget2buy
Both these phones have excellent cameras and the camera is the highlight of these phones. HMD Global has long since marketed Nokia 8 as a device for "storytellers" – tell your story with images. The Nokia 8 comes with a dual camera setup in the rear. The rear camera is equipped with ZEISS optics – and features a 13MP primary RGB (colour) sensor paired with a 13MP monochrome (black and white) sensor. The ZEISS optics allows the phone to capture depths and assists in low-light photography. This phone also has the new “bothie” camera, which basically means that you can use both the front and back camera simultaneously for split screen images and videos and turn it into a fun image. With an inbuilt app, you can even live stream a bothie to Facebook. And for selfies, there is a 13 MP shooter in the front.
OnePlus 5 T also features a dual camera in the rear and has got a new telephoto lens in its dual shooter. The new telephoto lens carries exactly similar 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 primary lens with f/1.7 aperture. The secondary lens is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor with a wider aperture whereas in OnePlus 5 there was a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor. For selfies, it sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor in the front.
Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Gaming Performance-Gadget2buy
Gaming and multitasking are quite easy and very enjoyable for Nokia 8. At no point does it slow down to drop and also the volume output and the performance of the phone remains top-notch even with heavy duty games like Mortal Kombat and Injustice.
The OnePlus 5T is blazing fast when playing games, multitasking, and just browsing the web. It has a great battery and is quite good for playing games with a huge display and great performance.
For gaming both the devices are excellent and cannot really be compared.
Nokia 8 vs Oneplus 5T Price-Gadget2buy
The OnePlus 5T is available in two different storage variants, with the cheaper 64GB/6GB RAM variant available Rs 32,999and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB model. The Nokia 8, on the other hand, is only available in a single variant and is available at a price of Rs 36,999. The pricing is a very important point to consider while buying the two phones and here OnePlus has done quite an aggressive pricing.
The end verdict is that the Nokia 8 is a very sturdy and elegant phone with excellent features and a great camera. The OnePlus 5T, on the other hand, is a classy bezel-less smartphone with a few excellent specs and great price.

Here's all you need to know about OnePlus 6 launch and specifications
There have been several rumours about OnePlus 6‘s launch date, with the most recent one claiming it to be on May 21. It turns out, this date wasn’t far off, as the Chinese company has just confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will meet us officially on May 17 in China. This finally puts a rest to the conflicting release dates suggested by different rumours in the past couple of weeks.
Now that the launch date is confirmed, we can finally focus on the other aspects of the device. The OnePlus 6 is confirmed to feature a glass body with round corners, different from the all metal design adorned by the previous flagships. This should also pave way for Wireless Charging support, a first for a OnePlusflagship device. The glass body has been reportedly selected among 70 different prototypes and the final product will feature 5 layers of nanotech coating to give a better feel of depth on the rear glass as compared to competitors.
Coming to the specs, the OnePlus 6 is almost confirmed to feature a notch up front on its 6-inch AMOLED display. Other rumored specs of the device include Snapdragon 845, 3450mAh battery, 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB ROM options, and a 16+20MP rear dual cameras.
The OnePlus 6 release date in India was said to be May 18 according to a recent report from Money Control. With the official launch in China set for May 17, this date doesn’t seem to be far off. However, it is worth adding that OnePlus had officially reached out to us stating that this release date was false. So, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from the company for the India launch date of the OnePlus 6.
Note that the OnePlus 6’s China launch conference tickets will go on sale from April 27 at 10AM.
And now, an additional official info says there Will be an event in London the 16th to introduce the oneplus 6 : https://www.gizchina.com/2018/04/25/oneplus-6-global-launch-event-set-for-may-16/ and the official teaser https://twitter.com/oneplus/status/989048462758109185
I can't find anything which says whether or not the phone will have a micro sd card slot. Does anyone know either way?

It most likely will not.
Jhn
Oneplus 6 will be available to buy straight away after premiere 16 may?
Or we will have to wait few days?
How it was with for example 5t?
Full specs
The listing informs us that the phone will be powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core chipset, undoubtedly the Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, and will have 64GB of native storage. That's certainly the most basic version of the phone, which will likely feature a souped-up version with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. A 3,300mAh battery will keep all of the lights going strong hopefully for a full day of usage in the least.
Further down the line, the device is listed as having a large 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2280 pixels which works out a 19:9 aspect ratio. Although it's not listed in the TENAA listing, we know for a fact that the device will also feature a display notch - it's just how phones roll these days.
In the rear, we find a dual camera combo consisting of 20 and 16MP snappers whereas the selfie camera is listed as being a 16MP one. In terms of size and dimensions, the OnePlus 6 will likely measure up at 155.7×75.35×7.75mm and tip the scales at 177gr. Android 8.1 will be running the show; we expected nothing less.
Cameras will be the same like in 5T? How do you think?
@Gramzz
According to rumors the 20MP and 16M are the same as on 5T but they will use a new sensor on 6 with the same MP.

also better SOC that should balance the bigger screen and battery. it would equal to 5t, in that case, it should be good enough not to forget Dash charge V2.
Will it have OIS for the cameras?

Just dropping these here...
Ah, a pretty invite.
Hi all..
I've just bought a Nokia 7Plus and love it's updates cycle among many other things.
But now I feel I should have waited for OP6 ( my earlier phone had broken in April and thought OP6 would come after June end).
Just one question-
How is the security updates cycle of OnePlus?
Do they make you wait like Honor and HTC or are they better?
Thanks
can someone comment on the camera?
what will it be comparable too?
i bought the p20 pro because of the camera specs very nice on paper, more than not it takes really nice photos.
i hope the oneplus 6 can rival it, if it does ill be purchasing and selling the p20 pro
Will there definitely be a 8Gb/256Gb version upon launch ?
According to 'leaked' German Amazon website: OnePlus 6 will have OIS, and Super Slow-mo, with SD845. Base modell price: 520€, 8/128 570€. There were no information about any 256GB modell. Maybe it's the Avangers special?

Any info on the camera sensor?
I'm using a p20 pro
Wondering if its worth changing, main deciding factor is the camera, if camera is comparable or better I'd definitely swap my p20 pro
In 2018 many new budget oriented smartphones were launched but lets see who is the real smartphone king. many big companies have are launching their budget smartphones but only few of them have actually proved themselves as mightiest.
in today's discussion i am going to say which smartphone has really good at it's price point.
I will list down top 3 budget smartphones (i.e upto 15,000 ruppes)
1. REDMI NOTE 5 PRO
The real beast still remains the redmi note 5 pro since it gives true value for money.
the phone feature's latest qualcomm snapdragon 636 octacore processor, 4GB ram and has dual rear facing camera i.e 12MP + 5MP dual camera
Sony primary sensor, 1.25μm pixels and 20MP front facing camera with led flash light and face unlock . Though the rear facing camera look's like iphone x but still result's pretty good. it also has 6 inch FHD+ display with new 18:9 aspect ratio and comes with massive 4000mah battery capacity.
however the smartphone higher GB varient i.e for 6GB ram, the pricing is still high.
2.ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but includes stock Android. The same hardware that makes the Xiaomi phone on the best performers at that price, is also there on the Zenfone Max Pro M1(i.e snapdragon 636 octacore processors) .But the flavour is stock Android 8.1 Oreo. Apart from that you get a sturdy build quality and decent 16-megapixel dual cameras at the back. Easily one of the best phones under Rs 15,000.
3.OPPO REALME 1.
this year oppo is launching quite unique and attractive products. This year now oppo has has launched it's new brand realme and it's one of the product realme 1 is one othe best smartphone of 2018
The Realme 1 is a new entrant in the mid-range market and it hopes to topple the best by offering a maxed-out spec sheet which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and Mediatek helio p60 processor which is even good than qualcomm snapdragon 636 processors. But because of missing fingerprint scanner and dual rear camera setup,i have placed it in 3rd position. But all that firepower surely makes the Realme 1 one of the best phones under Rs 15,000.
Hello fellas I'm really pondering about purchasing the Poco x3 pro. I'm currently a proud and happy user of a galaxy note 9. I bought it in 2019 when it wasn't Samsung's flagship anymore, but my good old one plus 3 was giving me bad battery life so I went for a note 9 because at the time it had everything I wanted (high end processor, big screen without notch, headphone jack, good cameras) and the price was right after one year of its release.
Right now my note 9 is still in good condition, even the battery is still at 85% of its capacity, but I'm thinking about the future. Probably this year the battery will degrade more and the poco is at an amazing price and it can carry me on for the next few years given that the hardware is newer than the n9.
So what do you think I should do? What would you do if you were me?
I'm concerned about the x3 pro cameras if they are am upgrade or a downgrade and maybe it's longevity.
And of course the screen is going to be a downgrade from de note 9 amoled display, but in the long run although amoled displays look amazing I'm always worried about the degradation and screen burn in, so I would be less concerned about using black wallpapers and using brightness with care.
Reasons to consider the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro:
Higher display refresh rate – 120 Hz
Comes with 1160 mAh larger battery capacity: 5160 vs 4000 mAh
Shows 15% longer battery life (112 vs 97 hours)
42% better performance in AnTuTu Benchmark (485K versus 341K)
The phone is 2-years and 7-months newer
Has an ultra-wide angle camera lens
More recent OS version: Android 11 versus 10
Has a built-in infrared port
Reasons to consider the Samsung Galaxy Note 9:
The rear camera has a 2x optical zoom
30% higher pixel density (514 vs 395 PPI)
Supports Qi/PMA wireless charging up to 15W
Optical image stabilization
Waterproof body (IP68 classification)
Delivers 23% higher maximum brightness (660 against 537 nits)
Super AMOLED display (versus competitor's IPS LCD)
Supports Dolby Atmos sound technology
The front-facing camera can record video at 1440p
I don't think it's would be an upgrade! it's just an moving
I think it's better to go for Poco F3 that's would be upgrade.
F3. But cameras would be a downgrade just of that ois and 2x
If headphone jack (and microSD like for me) are of high importance the choices are not wide. Most premium models ditch those features. However I would not consider PX3P an upgrade if not any of the reasons listed by @Abdullah.Csit are of primary importance. PX3P is a cheap SoC power house, but the cameras are average but nothing more. Redmi Note 10 Pro is viceversa: good camera (and Amoled) but slow processor.
The X3 Pro will be a dowgrade, don't do it.
just buy a new battery...
