Greetings.
Have tried to flash with magisk, have done all things, created patched file with current latest update on ASIG/ASG1/ASIE firmware.
The odin procedure stuck at final userdata ... waited 4,5 hours, still nothing...
Manualy reset and reflash with odin ...
Have got to flash all 4 files and now I'm on stock while reswitch bootloader / OEM.

Any1 got the same problem ?
Tried to follow again different approach, flashing 3 files (incl. patched magisk AP) in odin ...
Odin (v3.13.1) crashed at the end (tried 3x) ... and again I'm on stock after full reflash ...
Just to be sure, if knox tripped, any optional counter regarding it ?
Any1 with same symptoms ?
Is OTA update really so adaptive ?
The official firmware update is OTA update. - After initialization - Installing system update & Erasing.
Been very carefull about OTA in fota.zip. The password for it is "fotatest1234".
in bin there is updater
in tools all other needed tools for preparation and checking.
As noticed the flashing procedure and feedback from command is important :
Starting from :
sboot.bin
uh.bin
up_param.bin
cm.bin
keystorage.bin
boot.img
recovery.img
dt.img
dtbo.img
system.img
vendor.img
modem.bin
modem_debug.bin
cache.img
product.img
vbmeta.img
What about fastboot ? Is optional or need extra drivers to use Any1 tried with s10x ?
Stuck with updated version
After installing magisk on updated version
and patched AP from original ROM with odin I again got stucked with it at the end
.
Is there some reason or I must be using different version of Odin ?
Again I got stuck and got to install another clean version from the start
I need some help to root the phone. Done it several times, none of it worked ...
Looking for feedback and guidance ...
Guess found the problem why Odin ...
After full check and odin debug I found out that the patched tar, files inside are just image patched, but not lz4 compressed :
AP original rom file:
Magisk patched AP file (Latest version 7.4.0) :
(after adb pull )
Don't compress the lz4 image of 3 patched file (boot, recovery, vbmeta) and doesn't create the md5 check.
The PIT file in CSC_OMC*.tar.md5 is crucial for the Partition and Allocation table, but the patched files inside tar are not lz4 compressed !
Will be messing with this and create compressed patched file, retar and md5 it and will again try.
Will post the resoults, need to install cygwin also.
But since fastboot is not implemented I need also magisk prepared recovery also.
Will try to do the update / sideload option if it the odin stuff after needed changes works.
Fingers crossed ...
It was the ride again ....
made patched files correctly, had problems with LZ compresion config

tarballed with ustar and lz4 compression (lz4 -B6 --content-size in.img)
also added md5 checksum ...
No problem with odin check regarding patched tar.md5, but again after all odin got stucked ... again ....
Still wondering why & how ?
Don't know if it's the user/group/mode related :
...
But weird ...

It's obvious after flash there is also a feedback from boot loader, new modem, but also new cache, omr and product reflash via feedback.
This hasn't been a case before.

I don't have any issues with md5, the flashing just stoppes at 1%, when Odin flashing reaches system.img... I have tried to reinstall drivers, the bootlader is unlocked, and USB debugging is active... What can be wrong?... I flashed a same named phone like 4 months ago.
I want to flash the original firmware on my s21 ultra
but Im always stuck on LDFW, i did unplug everything
use another cable even use a laptop
still the same case..do you guys have any idea?
Had Odin choke on userdata.img. Solved it by pulling the patched AP file to my computer with ADB. Seems like Windows often corrupts large files if you simply drag'n'drop them from your phone to your computer.

Today I wiped all of my phone data with TWRP recovery and I wanted to install stock 5.1.1. firmware from sammobile but when I do that from odin it almost finishes but it fail at the very end and doesn't want to install it and I am left without phone.
I tried 2 firmware's from sammobile , same fail at the very end.
I restarted the computer, the phone, changed the USB ports, nothing.

I've had that exact same issue, try formatting all data (except recovery) and then try with Odin again, if it fails, try adb pushing a ROM, hope it works like it did with me , also if you didn't wipe your app data and you still want it, make a nandroid so when your on stock firmware, you can extract from nandroid and get back all apps
@SwaggerDaddy you Sir, saved me!
I installed TWRP recovery and wiped again everything, installed via odin again the firmware and failed again, ok but after that I installed the TWRP recovery, the phone works perfect with the stock 5.1.1.
Thank you Sir for helping me, the amazing community of XDA Developers, thank you all I don't know what I would do without you guys!

When I try restart my phone, it says "an error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software." Have also tried flashing using odin 3.11.1 but same issue. So basically I am stuck in download mode. Any help on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
Try a different odin version, usb port and unzip the rom and make a manual flash of bootloader, pda, modem...

Make sure your csc and cp is exactly the same model as your phone for your region. Search your firmware+ your region. And if everything doesnt work, dont put the other files, just the AP file.

samsung sm-j415f security error/// pls can i get solutions for this?
Greetings,
After reading a few different tutorials and a hodge-podge of different methods, I think I'm stuck.
I thought I was soft or hard-bricked earlier, but I think I'm in an ok spot now, just unsure how to proceed.
Please read on if you can offer me any suggestion I'd be very much obliged.
I had Galaxy S7 completely stock and working fine until one day last month, randomly turned off, then wouldn't reboot. Would show recovery screen and No Command, and eventually died and wouldn't show charge or anything.
So I bought a new battery. Tried to flash a recovery like TWRP using heimdall, no success. Tried flashing TWRP as AP using Odin 3.1xx, won't even let me (hangs verifying MD5 I'm assuming). How long should I wait for this step?
Eventually wouldn't reboot to recovery or anything other than download mode.. just shows loading recovery.. and reboots (black screen). Doesn't show up in samsung smart switch for emergency (despite showing me this screen several times)...
Deleted heimdall, reinstalled samsung usb drivers, both the download and the ones from within smart switch. Now using Odin to try and flash this most recent stock firmware: SM-G930T_1_20200121102341_gzmpzhj99q_fac obtained using Frija...
Since I couldn't seem to get it to boot to backup, I wanted to at least reset to stock and clear off all my user data. So after many attempts at flashing with Odin, I now get the startup Samsung Galaxy Logo powered by Android flashing, then black screen, nothing. Not sure what to do next. Should I try and boot into recovery and clear caches? Install update via ADB?
What I was able to to do so far, flash BL, CP, CSC while using PIT file from CSC in the PIT tab. Flash settings used: erase nand, re-partition, f. reset. Do not auto reboot.

Manual rebooted to ensure able to get into download mode... otherwise previously it would just loop at loading recovery (possibly recovery is corrupt after using heimdall to attempt to flash twrp?).
So far so good.
Flash AP (which contains the recovery.img, correct? With only f. reset and auto-reboot. It successfully flashed the AP and showed pass:

Using Odin modified 3.13.1 by raymond, seemed to have the best luck with it. I can try other versions and give their logs as well.
Not sure what to do now; it took me so many attempts getting to this point, I'm thoroughly confused. Feel like I see the finish line but not sure I ran the race correctly lol. The AP section only took about 2:10 to flash, even though it said everything was successful.
I tried to boot up recovery with vol up, home, power, figured I would delete the caches and then do a normal startup. However it never started recovery from what I can tell. It had the blue text that said loading recovery, then several quick reboots, the powered by android logo flashed a few times, sometimes quickly, then it persisted, now finally just a black screen....
I don't know what I'm doing wrong... should be easy enough according to the guides I've read.
Any help getting back to a working phone is greatly appreciated!
