Just testing it, I dropped it from about two feet and it just bounced. It has the nice little lip aound the front that protects the screen.
It also Recesses the camera lense.

Does it make the phone thick and bulky?

It doesn't look much thicker than a standard TPU case. So I would say you're still going to be pretty slim.

Nope. It actually hardly adds to it. Plus the phone feels less fragile. I really like it. I may buy the white one too.

Not like it did. But its flush. I lay it on its face now tho as the front is raised quite nicely.

Hi all
Amazon UK now have MediaDevil screen protectors for the XZ (front and back sold separately). Just fitted mine, much nicer than the ones that come in the box. Only been on for about 30 mins, but fingerprints actually seem to wipe off these ones! V happy.

did you mean fingerprints are still visible but can be easily wiped?

Yes. They're still there, but nowhere near as bad as with the original ones, and I can wipe them away on my jeans.

I e-mailed mediadevil asking if they were planning on releasing one with oleophobic coating, got this response...
"I'm afraid we're unlikely to release an oleophobic version -- some brands do use this material, however it does not meet our standards for several reasons. First, this material often has a blue tinge, and we only sell protectors that are completely clear. Second, it is much more likely to experience the 'rainbow effect', and third, while it does show fewer fingerprint marks, it has also been our experience that the fingerprint marks that do appear are more difficult to clean.
If you have had a different experience with oleophobic screen protectors, we'd be very interested to hear about it, however at the moment we have yet to find a material that does not have these issues."

Nope, im using it at the moment, its front and back (x2).. Great price, performs as it sshould sooooo no complaints so far

Ah awesome! They do look good. the front/rear lack of clarity on their wording was odd though. I even read their installation instructions for it and was only talking front.
Did you use that "masking tape" trick to install? Or just really good at putting them on? I'll be trying the masking tape way

Has anyone found any large sets of cheap front and back protectors on eBay?

Nope, just good ole:
1. Clean the screen off (Make sure no dust, lint, etc are on the screen)
2. Don it on the phone and use the cam cutouts as guide.
3. I did get dust and lint after installation, I used clear tape to take off the sp a lil and used another tape to get those lint/dust.
viola..
took about 5-10 mins for me to install perfectly.

I bought a Krusell Frostcover and had a front screen protector installed today. I don't remember its brand, the shop assistant threw its packaging out. I remember it was sort of blue, and it had a microfiber cloth included...
I never had a protector before and I'd like to know how it reacts to water. I'm not planning to go scuba diving with the phone, but since it's water resistant, it will probably get sometimes. May it affect the film? Loosen it? Or no problem, unless it gets underneath it somehow?

You will get dust/lint around the home button and the home button sticker that's included doesn't help cover it up.

I just got it as well.
The only thing I'm surprised about is that, contrary to several threads here, it does NOT have Rounded edges. It's very straight cut and feels like it's scraping ur skin.
Very disappointed seeing as how most others have it but oh well.

Nope, the response hasn't decreased at all from the senors or the screen.

I also have this screen protector. It is absolutely wonderful! Has anyone tested it against ghost glass or some other glass variant? I also notice a bit of a decrease in performance from the proximity sensor when removing the phone from my face after a long phone call.

I ordered this product on Sunday from Amazon. It's arrival today was heralded by a loud thump on my doorstep as the delivery person essentially slammed the Amazon box (which contained the ScreenMate and a Obliq Case) down and ran off. Needless to say, I was not surprised to discover on opening the screenmate box that the glass had been cracked.
I will be ordering another as soon as Amazon processes my refund, as I believe that the fault was in the handling by the delivery person. I do think that iLoome could probably do a little bit better with their packaging, however, again, I believe that the fault truly lies with the Prestige courier that Amazon used to ship my product to me.
I will update after I get the replacement ordered and it arrives.

Just got my iloome glass screen and its amazing feels like nothing there but I got a hair under my screen. Thats my bad but its nice and all the gestures is working for me. Very well pleased

I'll be waiting for the second batch of the device, because I want to see reviews, and to avoid any possible quality control issues that might initially exist. With this in mind, I obviously want to protect my investment, what with being a student on a budget. As such, I want to really protect my screen. In fact, just last week I shelled out an unplanned $120 to replace the screen on my S3 i9300, which fell face down in its ZeroLemon battery case. The screen wasn't cracked, but it was damaged in terms of the pixels. It started out with a purple spot, and got progressively worse overnight, to where it was totally black, and unusable. Does anyone know if a Ballistic, Trident, or UAG case will be made available for the 6P? Are there any other ideas as to the type of case I'm looking for, besides those I mentioned?

A good case and a tempered glass screen protector should help a lot. That's what I usually use for my phones

I sent an email to the manufacture today, I didn't yet get a response. One other buyer on Amazon (via a review) reported he got contacted back by the manufacture, and he pasted an email from them stating the photo is only a prototype. It makes sense as the case won't mail out for a full month. The month delay is OK with me because my phone won't be here before then.

The post shows a reply from the company saying those were pre release mock up images... They should update the images but as long as they don't really cover the LAF no biggie. Especially considering I got to order the case for $2!

Looks easy to make a template to cut an opening wide enough. It's crystal clear, may not effect IR anyway.

looking to get myself a rhinoshield bumper (buttons question).

hey guys, first time for me to get a bumper but before i get the rhinoshield i'd like to ask those that own it whether the buttons will start to feel more clicky after a while of using it.
e.g after a month or so, i read on reddit/and saw on a youtube review and a review on XDA.
all complaining about Stiff buttons , meaning hard to push powerbutton/vol up down.
and i hate stiff/mushy not clicky buttons, i love clicky tactile buttons.
does the rhinoshield improve within time? if yes i'd like to get it
or if someone knows of a nice bumper case for the 6p, please let me know.
i only know about the rhinoshield.

I'm glad to say that yes, I have mine for like half a year and after 2 month it's start to be clicky and satisfying.
And if it not was so clear on the first 2 months I suffered from those buttons, really stiff and unpleasant feedback.
Now I'm very happy with my bumper, completes my phone

They're not as bad as they're made out to be. You'll need to put a skin on the back to avoid finger print smudges though.

I pondered over the same question a while back, before buying the crash guard..
after having it for about 6 months [ maybe more ], i keep thinking " why did i bother asking the question before ordering ".
In a word its " perfect "
In the beginning, it was a bit hard [ not too much though ], it got mellowed out and its great now.
No clicking issues here.
dropped it a few times from like 3-4 feet [ accidentally of course ], no issues there also :good:

i have a matt type finish skin sticker on the back of my 6p.
i plan to get the white version of the rhino shield bumper, will that fade color ?

Hi! I got the first batch of the Nexus 6p bumper case from Rhino Shield and the area by the charger sort of broke over time. They do offer a lifetime warranty where you just pay for shipping and they don't charge you for the replacement. I had the white one at first. It changes color over time from a really clean white to like greyish even after soaking it in some Clorox mixture over 8 hours or more. So I got the dark blue one as a replacement. I don't regret buying from them at all.
While it is very stiff at first, it gets better over time.
Taking a screenshot can be a pain, though. It often triggers just one or the other (usually the volume button) unless if you press them a certain way.

Wow couldnt have said it better myself! My white bumper turned blue from my jeans really quick and also had the charging port hole break after removing and putting the case back on too many times.
Switched to the blue version and couldn't be happier. I attached a pic of my current setup for anyone that is interested, got that American pride going

does it peel off the skin after you remove the bumper?
i still have not ordered mine, i will get the dark blue one !
i ask because i also happen to have a skin applied on my 6p, from decalgirl.
and btw. do you have a glass sp on ? will the bumper work with a glass sp?
i have no sp on mine at all, but still would want to know ,because i need a glass sp since i am a frikkin clutz.

The skin doesn't peel off when I remove the case. Be careful removing the case alot though, I cracked the charging port that way.
So I have an intelliarmor (highly recommend) and it fits just fine within the bounds of the bumper. Granted I put it on after the bumper was on to make sure it didn't interfere.

which of the intelliarmor ? this one Nexus 6P intelliGLASS HD Max Coverage (0.2mm)- The Smarter Nexus Glass Screen Protector by intelliARMOR ? i see only this on amazon.

Im waiting on a replacement right now and Intelliarmor assured me that the Nexus 6p 0.2mm will fit with the case that I have. I'm not sure what I had prior since my order invoice just says 6p screen protector.

The main concern should be signal interference because of the bumper case

Complete nonsense. Like it's covering up anything that other cases don't? It's literally covering less than a regular case..

Well I bought a bumper case aluminum one and it is interfering with the wifi and phone's signal
