Any videos on snapchat play fine for about a second then it goes real laggy and seems almost as if its playing in slo mo? I've tried reinstalling and clearing data/cache... Any ideas? Thanks

for some reason i CANNOT watch videos in hd from the youtube app on my phone. I can watch them in regular format but when i switch to hd they load about 10 seconds, then my data arrows stop lighting up and the video wont load anymore. Does anybody have any idea on what to try to fix this?
you say that hd is just a feature, but when the regular quality is actually super crappy hd is my only option
update: i cleared cache, cleared data, and uninstalled, reinstalled from the market, didnt log in and it still does the same damn thing

Is anyone else getting this problem since the Nougat update? Yesterday I used safe mode which may have affected it though. I've tried restarting the phone,. cleaning the app data and system cache as well as uninstalling and reinstalling updates but it still only shows 720p maximum for 60fps videos. I had this problem on my HTC Butterfly s but for that phone it was more of a hardware limit.
I got the same problem. Surely it s not because you used safe mode.

I tried ogyoutube, same problem. It only shows 720p 60 fps
Yeah I just saw some more YouTube app reviews from Google Play for the Z5 and there are some other people noticing the same issue. I'm more concerned it's something baked into the API with Android Nougat.
Also is anyone getting stuttering with the live preview of the camera? It doesn't really affect video but is pretty annoying. and the shutter lag is still there.

Try flashing new firmware in flashtool and select to wipe everything.
I use nougat and everything works perfectly.
1080p 60fps playback works in latest update of YouTube.
So this began happening about a week ago. Whenever I played videos on mx player pro or YouTube, my screen would lag out and the picture would freeze when a video was played through mx player.
Then 2 days ago the tablet just stopped working and would do a soft reboot anytime I tried to access any app. After that I wiped and reflashed Bliss 6.4 and things were fine however the lag is coming back.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there any fix?

Try running trimmer(fstrim) it resolve lag issue for me.

So my problem is when i open my camera through the Camera app it runs normally, without any flaws.
However in most apps that use camera like Snapchat or Musically the camera runs a lot slower and is stuttering.
In snapchat i can flawlessly take photos but if i try to record it stutters like crazy. Please help me!
In musically it works but just is significantly slower. Please help me!
I tried:
- Having more space on my phone
- Reinstalling Snapchat
- Downgrading Snapchat
I don't know what to do from now on. Please help me its the only thing i hate about this phone, and i'm sure there's a fix for that!
I had an issue with Snapchat crashing on a Nokia 3. What worked for me was moving the app to internal storage, external storage just isn't quick enough. Hope this helps!
Hello, have you find a solution yet? I'm having the same problem righti now and I'm pretty desperate... My camera works just fine, but the moment I open it in Musical.ly it starts to lag
When playing videos on YouTube and Snapchat the phone freezes for one second and then the sound stays ahead and the video stays a lil bit behind. Please can someone help me with this issue
Weird i dont have the issue. Can you explain further? Perhaps a video showing would help but it seems to be an OS issue. Try backing up phone and factory reseting
It's like YouTube and some other apps doesn't support the FPS I don't k tho im not sure but the phone freezes for a sec and then the video and the audio don't be in sync and some game are sooo smotth whereas other games lag even more
I'm 90% sure I've had similar bugs randomly. I've also started having weird FPS drops in YouTube as well.
In fact I'm getting a little fed up with the random bugs!!
