Hi, ive tested loads of Aosp roms on pie, after 15-20 mins 4g doesnt work.
I have to reboot, change network settings, turn off and on data etc.. the process takes about 10mins -/+ to finally get 4g to work.
The second i turn off my screen it stops again after 15-20mins.
Ive tried different methods like manual apn, change network settings etc.
Nothing works! Anyone got a solution to this?
Roms tested: havoc, omnirom, carbon, crdroid, evolutionX, aoisp.
Theres nothing wrong on stock OOS 9.5.11 and works all the time. I got the european version gm1913.
Any help appriciated.

Hello Android Devs. Looking for your help again and thanks for helping.
My phone: Samsung Galaxy Vibrant
I have two problem after flashing rom;
I flashed theese roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061889
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021383
Problems are same for theese two problem.
1- There is no mobile network data. When i want to make call, it says, "mobile network not available".
I did the apn fix (set to default, reset etc.) No working.
I opened *#*#4636#*#* and do somethings explaning under "fixing network problems" threads.
Theese all not working.
I'm looking for help. This problem is not about sim card or operator(t-mobile etc.). Because a lot of people have same problem from all world. Every thidsd people using different gsm operators. So, fixing method with sim cards not working. This problem is about rom. Because, when downgrade to Android 2.1 or 2.2, there no problem. Please help.
2- Second problem is powering off it self every 15 minutes. All theese two roms have this problem. Not every time after 15 minutes. Sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 40 minute (after boot).
2.1 and 2.2 also don't have this problem.
Please help.
There is a lot people on world using CyanogenMod. And they are flashing this rom with same method with rom manager.
Why this rom have problem about mobile network and powering of.
Thanks.
I am having problems with my network on every ICS rom I have tried. The roms are Darky ICS and the Resurrection Remix 9.7 and 1.0. I have tried multiple modems, yet they do the same thing.
My phone constantly changes from HSPA+ to 3G and back and forth. This is quite rapid, like in 5 seconds I will see it change a few times. Also, I get 'retry connection' messages a lot in Google Play and internet related apps. Non ICS roms seem to work perfectly fine.
Anybody have this? If so, did you resolve it?
Additional - I have tried installing the correct modem for my phone (the KG2) while in Darky ICS and it didn't make a difference.
Just noticed that I am also dropping calls. Tried half of the modems so far.
I recently have had an issue, and this only occurs on CyanogenMod (11 & 12). Basically, I'll be using my phone normally, but I'll notice my signal will go from full bars to no service every 30 seconds or so, it seems. That interval is to give you an idea. This issue does not occur on any other ROM that I've used (Cataclysm, PA, Rastapop, Stock, so forth). I've tried adding my APN as a fix but didn't seem to do anything. Information:
Sprint MVNO (Ting), running barebones CM, no gapps.
I'd love to get this solved, if anyone has ever figured this out. I've searched on Google and have seen no resolution, but have seen other's with the issue.
Guys I've a big problem, that is not related with a specific rom becouse I had it, with every rom I've tried.
My mobile connection runs well but, sometimes it crash and never turns on again. Cyano 12 gives me an error simbol (!), other roms seems to be online but they're not.
Sometimes putting airplane mode on and off reset data and it runs again but, really more often I have to reboot the phone.
Tried 11s, coloros, cyano 11 and 12, Paranoid, SlimKat, Euphoria all roms has the same problem (coloros is a bit better).
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance
Moved from development.
If I'm understanding correctly none of the current roms work on Sprint's network. Is that correct?
I've tried lineageOS and couldn't hold a signal so if there's one that works please point me in that direction.
Thanks.
I hadn't had any luck with ROMs on Sprint either until today. I decided to restore my TWRP backup of LineageOS 14.1 official, then I re-flashed the bootloader and radio from the most recent stock build (I had been on 4.4.3 to test something). The device was not active on my account at the time, but when it booted up, I got an alert from Signal Check Pro that it had an LTE signal, and the LTE indicator was on. So then I signed on and swapped devices to try to reactivate it, and immediately went into carrier settings and tapped update network settings. I got an alert shortly after saying com.android.phone had stopped, but it appeared to work, and I had a signal and LTE indicator. There was a Lineage update showing (May 17), so I downloaded it (over LTE) and installed it. Everything has been working so far, both before and after the update: voice, LTE (all bands), SMS, MMS, and RCS. So I really didn't do anything different, it's just working now.
Note, I have had SMS problems on every stock build starting with the first 6.0.1 build, and all security releases after it. I haven't had any problems on any older Android version. What happens is it works fine for a while, but at least once a day. SMS stops working until I reboot or update network settings. That's why I installed Lineage, trying to determine if it's a bug in Android or the radio. So far, no problems, but it has only been a few hours.

LOL it course the SMS bug struck after about 24 hours.. except this time it took a couple of tries to get data working again, and SMS wouldn't work again.. I knew better.. back to stock again..
