Just boot phone into Download mode and flash a stock rom, this normally fixes most problems.

Hi,
sorry for my post, but i'm devastated and can't find anything
I flashed my Nexus S, I9023, with the new ICS update from the Google servers
and now it is stuck in a constant boot loop
Going into fastboot and choosing recovery doesn't help
I can only see a lying Android with a red triangle and then nothing happens
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks

Hi, any luck with this issue?! I'm having exactly the same problem
You could try flashing the recovery through fastboot or even wipe the device and flash the ROM through fastboot.
Thanks... At the end I wasn't even able to get into Clockwork Mod Recovery. Found a guide on how to force my way into Clockwork Mod, and tried to load a ROM - without success...
I ended up leaving my phone on boot the whole night, and sure enough, it was working in the morning. Mind you, I've had it booting or more than half an hour before, and nothing happened.
So personally, I don't have an explanation why it works all of a sudden.
My suggestion is, leave it booting overnight and "hope for the best" - it worked for me.
well today I decided to flash some different roms to my infuse. Apparently my phone doesnt like being abused and flashed several times in one day (lol)
I can still boot into recovery and load a rom. The phone loads everything, but when I try to reboot it just shows "samsung" on the main screen. It doesnt boot loop, it just constantly shows samsung... I let it sit for about 10 minutes and the screen never changed. What is an easy fix for this? I am using the Atrix2 right now (terrible phone) and want to get my infuse up and running again...

^can this be used? I am not really sure what to do... The phone isnt really "bricked" it just wont boot.
I appreciate any advice

Not bricked. If the screen turns on you're not bricked.
Hello XDA! New member here with a huge problem.
So I recently flashed Helly Bean 4.2.2 onto my Nexus S 4G and it was great, really fast! But for some reason, when my phone died and I powered it back on, it was stuck at the boot animation. I still cannot get passed it. Now I know an issue like this can be solved through the recovery (I use TWRP) but some months ago, my power button messed up. It's as if it's always in the pushed in position even though it isn't, it still clicks like the first day i got it. My phone automatically boots up when i connect my charger or put a charged battery in. I can get into fastboot mode but due to messed up power button, I can't scroll down to the recover option and even if i could, I wouldn't be able to execute it. So that's my problem, I'm stuck at the boot animation, and I'm stuck at the fastboot menu. Is there anyway I can reset factor settings/flash another rom/ or even revert back to stock and unroot from fastboot using some program?? I'd prefer not to lose anything on my SD card though, but if it has to be done then so be it. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
first.. did you eneble Usb debuging when you had a working rom..?? If yes then you should try this while you have the boot loop to get into recovery.. you could then make a factory reset and you should be fine.. I hope this helps you..

I did have USB-debugging on, always do. I've tried booting into recovery using the quick tools but all it says "booting into recovery" and nothing happens. My phone just stays on the boot animation
Thanks anyway though!

Sorry to hear.. worked with me some time ago..

Sorry everyone for this annoying post but I have done research enough to think that I may be out of luck so you guys are my last hope here.
Here is the senario;
I have been running Cyanogenmod 12 (courtesy of Sultan). Once the ROM was discontinued I decided to give Paranoid 5.1 a shot. I downloaded the new rom, suggested SuperSU and Gapps and booted to the most up to date TWRP. I flashed the rom, then supersu, and finally Gapps and then rebooted my phone. The phone stayed in the boot screen for about 45 minutes (maybe even an hour) so I powered off the phone, pulled the battery, and attempted to boot back into recovery using the power and volume buttons but nothing was working. The phone would just keep vibrating (pulsing) until i let the buttons go and then jump right back into the booting screen until I turned the phone off again. Hopefully I am doing something wrong and there is an easy fix but Im afraid that I now havae a brick on my hands.
Please help,
SuperNewb
[Update]
Now the phone will hold the boot screen for a couple minutes then the screen just goes black. Not sure what that means.
Also, just so you guys dont think im too ignorant, I will say that I I have flashed at least 10 different ROMs before this so I would like to think that I have a decent understanding of how this all should work.
Finally got back into recovery using advise from this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769102
hopefully a traditional whip can get me back on track
I had to use ODIN, go back to stock rom, reflash TWRP and then install paranoid. But were all good now. Sorry guess I didnt do as much research as I thought.
Help

i made a factory reset and my phone doesn't want to pass the "upgrading app"
I had to make a thread, trying to get help.
I think i installed dualrecovery twice. The phone was rooted and bootloader unlocked. I could not get into recovery mode so i, foolishly, installed recovery again.
After that, this xperia z3 is in a bootloop. It goes to sony screen then turns off and repeats rapidly. It heats up if i let it go too long.
I tried holding the volume and power button, it vibrates 3 times, but continues the loop after.
Anyone know of anything that can fix this, maybe if i can turn it off, i can flash firmware? Is it bricked?
Thanks for any replies, very much appreciated.
Edit 1:
The phone magicly powered off, i think the loop stopped when the battery died. Now i can flash firmware, which is good. I will report back after it's charged and see if everything is fine.
Edit 2:
Yep, it's fine, my friends. Phone is reset and ready to be abused again.
Give me thanks if this thread helped you, ty. hehe

I dont think its hard bricked. So, my phone stopped the restarting loop somehow. I think the battery died then it stopped or something.
But the phone is now off and i am flashing firmware to it as i write this.
So if you can get your phone to power off somehow, and stop looping, follow the advice on this thread on how to flash soft bricked devices:
