Hey Guys,
Since the new ports are out from bsg,Arnova and etc can you test the pixel 3 mod gcams on your phone I tested all of them on my phone running pixel experience extended. And if not working can any one provide a working port?

I just downloaded the latest Arnova 6.1 test 3 on Pixel experience 9.
It open, I can take picture but not see them and it crash often.
It's clearly still really Alpha but there's great potential.

I can take picture and video. Front camera crash though. The image quality is still off, but at least it's working.

Is your current Gcam (not 6.1) extremely stable?
Mine is.
Also do you have the Indian version of global. I have the global.
Finally what patch did you flash in. Magisk?

Yes.
Indian.
It was a patch I found on telegram, 'camera_patch_for_global_users_by_taran107&ritzz' <<<flashed this on TWRP.
I switched to PE extended and now everything works including gcam 6.1.

If you guys really into it try AEX alpha build latest. Every gcam is working with it. Just have to turn on cam2api support at settings. Aronavs 6.1 ot bsg..

I'm on global and the latest pixel2mod works perfectly on havoc pie with the camera patch from this thread...
Pixel3mod doesn't work( front cam issues), and don't install the patch if you are using the Indian variant...

How did you get it to work. I installed the gcam and the patch given above on my Redmi Note 5 Pro Indian variant but it just keeps crashing on PixyOS 2.2 (9.0 Pie). I also tried it on Pixel Experience 9.0 but it crashes on that as well even after installing the patch. Do you have any fix for this

Can it work as a daily driver even though it's still in alpha
In every modded Google Camera I use, front cam does not take photos. How to fix this? Flashing this google camera fix via TWRP would solve the problem?

It works on my global version not indian version,cause there is a variation at the cameras

For me it is the best rom on Whyred i ever used(I used most of Miui/Linage/AOSP based rom) in terms of Performance and Smoothness . And it doesn't have image retention issue,some whyred user having that issue on other rom even stock rom, it has some minor bug.

I used Derp Kernel 3.4 with it,And it is on Android Oreo, it is amost stock android.
I don’t know who is the developer of this ROM and and it’s development forum(He also ported Oxyzen OS for Whyred).
I wish some other developer give it a try and made a rom based on it, or original developer develop it more in future.

2.flash rom
3.(optional-flash lazy flasher,derp kernel)

Enabled camera2 api with flashing Camera2 api enabler.zip via twrp.
Everything working.

I've exchanged most Xiaomi stock apps for Google Apps,Messages,Calendar,Clock,Notes,Contacts Miui Launcher to Poco Phone Launcher.

Many thanks appreciate. To be honest I am quite happy with the eu at the moment, but if you somehow manage to made the security app working will definetly change to yours and promote in a Spanish telegram group I created with tutorials in a bot.
As I said I did try with the security app from mi5 miui 10 with no luck and and admin I Xioami Com forum suggest to install this 4 apps from miui 7 from this link, but got FC everywhere

Thanks for the rom, it's pretty good. Unfortunately I have the same sensor problem. I use a smart cover (turns the tablet on when opened and off when closed) and none of these functions are working on my pad 4.
ok i found the issue,it´s not the Sensor but the Poco Launcher,with Pixel Launcher or Nova Launcher works
I switched over to Nova launcher, but the gyro sensor is still not working, none of the apps rotate. Other than that, the ROM is good.

I found some files in this rom have checksum errors.
I saw that i can open gcam port pixel 3 although i didn't turn on camera 2api on bluid.prop. so mia2 lite support that on android pie.
Which version of Gcam?

Are you sure? My gcam crashes when I open it. I've tried with arnova v8.3b1. After pie update magisk appear uninstalled and my gcam don't work, what can i do to solve this problem?

its not possible without enabling the Camera2Api , you have to enable it . At least temporary root ur device to enable it .
I believe there is a guide somewhere in this forum .

You'll need a patched_boot.img for your rom version (in my case with 10.4) There's another thread with all the patched boot.imgs.

I heard mounting vendor before flashing makes it work.

I think it's Rom dependent, not Android version dependent. Because I'm using the original one on LineageOS 17.1 and it works perfectly fine.

I'm not criticizing your work, it's good that someone found a way to do this for MIUI, I just said the problem is not Android 10, it's MIUI and it's camera version.

Not working on latest MIUI11..0.3.0(QFCMIXM), using TWRP.
It's working on Mi 9 lite, Android 10 MIUI 12.1 (20,7.23). i needed to download Twrp flashable version, mount Vendro and flash it. After restart GCAM don't lag, and stock cam don't crash.
Installed with Magisk on MIUI 12.1 (Xiaomi.eu version) and it's working 100%, no crash on stock cam either.
