Note 7 Pro (Violet) LOS Storage Space only 16GB - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Questions & Answers

I have finally managed to get the last official (before it was discontinued) LOS16 running on my Note 7 Pro and everything has been great until installing my apps and I found it was running out of space which was weird since the phone is meant to have 128GB or something. I looked and it says I have a storage space of only 16GB.
Have I accidentally partitioned something wrong? It took me a few flashes of stock, recoveries and LOS to finally get it going, so has old software filled it up?

Hello everyone!
I'm opening this post because even though it does say so in the Wilson's ROM, there are suggestions to the contrary on other ROM threads. This might only be necessary for the 32gig version
I was desperately trying to get CM12.1 flashed onto my 32gig mi4i which comes stock with MIUI 5.9.15, and nothing was working. Wiped everything, formatted, tried different sets of GAPPS, tried different ROMS... no cigar. It would flash, optimize apps, reboot, go onto language selection screen, get stuck for a few seconds, and reboot. and reboot. and reboot. you get the idea.
You ABSOLUTELY need to flash MIUI 6.6.10 first. No other version of MIUI will work. I tried a couple of others first since 6.6.10 was taking forever to download to no avail. I put the patience in, downloaded 6.1.10, flashed the UBER ROM and voila! works first try.
I've only been toying with it for an hour or so but i'm really, REALLY loving it. I'm not a fan of MIUI but I could have gotten used to it, however the ****ty recent apps drawer and the useless lockscreen were deal-breakers for me. I'm a lot happier with my Mi4i purchase now!
Thanks a lot to everyone putting in the effort to port and compile these ROMs so noobs such as myself just have to hit a few buttons to get them working.
K I just saw this has already been posted. Please delete!
I wish i had the 32gb version, bought my mi 4i 3 weeks before it was announced.

I actually only bought the 32 gig variant because the 16gig was unavailable and i desperately needed a phone. I have a 20gig LTE data plan and stream most stuff...
I was also in the same spot. i ask if they had a 32gb version and they said no, only to release it a month later.
so after all what do u want to say in short amd simple language please

Nexus 5X lose storage 32Go to 16Go : help me please !!

Hello, first of all, im a new user and I do not know if I'm in the right place to post this message. I am also French so excuse my English.
Here is my problem: I recently installed CyanogenMod 13 on my Nexus 5X, I have too much hassle because of the error on 7 TWRP. By reinstalling the factory image from the Google site, I managed to install CyanogenMod (I had not booted my phone, I dirctement installed CyanogenMod). To my surprise the installation is installed, but when I turned on my phone, I realized that I had that I had only 10 GB of storage while I have the 32GB version Nexus 5X. I thought it was a bug in CyanogenMod, so I reinstalled the factory image of Nexus 5x. So I now stock the version of my phone with the latest updates, but I still have 10 GB of storage ... I do not know what to do !! if you have any solutions I'm interested.
I thank you in advance.
factory reset from settings
ok thanks you, it's good. Have you an idea for what i have this bug ?
then as your technique works on android stock, I said I would try on CyanogenMod but I still have the memory in less ... in fact it is the sdcard partition that is not created or evil, and therefore I have more than 10GB of storage and it annoys me a bit ...
Here is the forum for the 5x: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x

Stuck somewhere... Mate 8 Internal Storage was eaten...

Hy guys. After reading whole forum on Mate 8 and did what I could I am out of options what to do more. Its been 4 hours trying to do something with my phone but I just came to the end.
I bought Mate 8 the Chinese one and want it to have L29.
I Unlocked it with DC, putted twr and even puted some ROM to change the chinese one. Works more less ( no camera ) but what I have big problem is that I lost Internal Storage. From 64 Gb I have now just 3 Gb, the rest says full.
I tried in TWRP wipe but not working , format not working, ... Looks like its encripted the internal storage but I just cant figure out how to resolve the problem.
I would like to either to flash back original version (which not sure which it was) or to decript and put some normal working ROM.
II am really not sure where I messed up but I really need help.
Please!
UPDATE! I was able to put phone in eRecovey to get back chinese version. Memory all good almost.
The phone is still with bootloader and unlocked.
What would be the easiest way to get L29 on it?
SOLVED! After updating chinese version back to the phone I was able to fix it all.
Some issues I had:
Rays Italian Knife is almost useless (dont bother). Had to do all manual fastboot commands.
Just one TWRP is working for the phone. 3.0.2.0 4.1
At the end I took german l29 rom and puted it on the SD. Flashe, rebooted, updated and works.

[SOLVED] 128 MB storage on Android??

Hi all,
I wanted to try out Ubuntu Touch by UBPorts so I went ahead and installed it. After a while, when I wanted to switch back to Android I tried to flash the stock image from the official website, anything newer than 5.0, (6.0.1 was the first one I tried) got stuck on a bootloop. 4.4.4 seemed to be working but my device started nagging about low free space, as I only had 128 mb of total storage. I looked it up and it said somewhere that the hardware is basically fried and my phone is done for. After this point there was nothing I could lose so I reinstalled Ubuntu Touch, but then it started working normally and I now have 11.5GB of free storage? Does this mean that my device isn't fried? Is there a way I can go back to Android?
UPDATE: I flashed TWRP with fastboot and installed the ROM of my choice from there. Everything works like a charm now. Kudos to Aron from the Telegram group!

Fix a failed Root of Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2017) SM-T380

I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2017). It went into a boot loop. I fixed it using a ROM I got from Samfw.com. It's working now but I only have use of 8GB of the original memory. Does anyone know how to restore full use of my internal memory? I'd like to know if any has successfully rooted one of these tablet too.
Thanks

Some devices have multiple versions with different sizes of internal storage. You may have flashed the wrong firmware, if so, you need to find the firmware that is for Tab A8 with the internal memory that you have.

Thank you. I will search for such a ROM.
I have recently attempted to root my SM-T380 with TWRP & Magisk but failed and got stuck in a boot loop. I have returned to a stock ROM without difficulty and I note that System/Data comprises 10.3Gb of my 16Gb internal storage. That seems really large to me. I have attempted to find a stripped down ROM with no bloatware but I get the feeling the SM-T380 has been left out in the cold. These forums have a handful of threads that are mostly useless. I would dearly love to hold onto my Tab for a little while longer.
