Short guide for people having my problem.
1. download the all in one tool https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/tool-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t3358711
2. download a fastboot rom(A regular OTA won't work) https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-7-pro-t3931424 (10.0-GM21AA for me)
3. Open the "all in one tool" and select "flash factory images" and navigate to the the Fast boot ROM you've downloaded.
4. Select the "wipe all data" (you'll loose everything)and "reboot after flash" options.
5. Wait
6. Done.

Hi, how do I install the latest android P on my oneplus 6? I have an unlocked bootloader with twrp installed but not rooted.
Download the P zip via OnePlus forums, flash it through the update section in settings and wipe the phone via recovery. It will wipe TWRP though and replace it with stock recovery.

When u say back to twrp menu you mean after reboot to recovery and then to install twrp.zip or in the same session to install twrp twice?
what are known bugs in DP3?
does snap chat work? as reports say that safety net fails

So that TWRP is not deleted, I recommend to install it again in TWRP menu!

Flash through ex kernel manager app
If the kernel uses "any kernel" then go to magisk and flash magisk one more time aswell, reboot.
What your saying is that you can't boot to twrp in any way? Not even with phone off and volume down? If not, reinstall twrp (I recommend blu_spark)

@Pepinow Power off your phone. Hold vol up and power, that will take you to fastboot. From there use the vol keys to show recovery at the top then boot to it. This is of course assuming you flashed the twrp zip when first installing it
Whenever I flash twrp (via fastboot) on my OP6, it comes out successful, but when I boot to it, it sticks on the TWRP splash screen and doesnt do anything until i hold down the power button to force shut it down and boot to system, i can flash bootable twrp, but then i cannot install magisk, because i was getting an error saying that there isnt enough space in /boot, i have no clue what to do and just want to get twrp and root, this has never happened to me before, if anyone has an idea why its happening or how to fix it then please say . Thanks in advance.

This most likely happened due to an incompatible flash or incomplete one.
Now try the clear all option and format your phone completely before flashing MIUI again.
Also what OS were you running when this happened?

1. Now download the flashboot ROM u want
2.Now select the flash all including storage option
3. Try flashing it now
It should be successful as this will wipe out the existing OS and install a new one
Also u will lose your data so I hope u had a backup..
If anyone on 10.3.9 & facing bugs & want to downgrade then unlock bootloader & then download minimal adb toolkit extract it & copy the extracted fastboot rom files into minimal adb folder & then put your phone into fastboot mode & then run clear all & install.bat inside the extracted folder & wait for it to finish & you will be able to downgrade because you wont be able to downgrade with mi flash, its a tested process by me as i bricked my bootloader unlocked phone which was only going to fastboot mode, i recovered by this process.

I got a Motorola G8 Power, and as far as I know, it will not get Android 12, so I was wondering if there is already any Android 12 stable GSI (because I doubt that there are any ROMS, and even less likely for this device).
Also, if I installed it, would I get any OTA updates? What about Google Play Services? Would it be better to just install a ROM like HavocOS (GSI) and wait for them to release the Android 12 update?
Thanks in advance.
Apparently now their is. Check https://ci.android.com/builds/branches/aosp-android12-gsi/grid?

It did not work for me. I just think that this has to do with Android 11, as I tried to install other ROMS and none of them worked. Well, one did, but it was stuck in a bootloop. I am planning on trying again, though.

Yes. You have to get the version that corresponds to your phone. For example, my Moto G8 Power is an ARM64 device, so I visited this website and downloaded this zip file containing the boot images, the system image and the vbmeta image.

I am trying to flash it via Fastboot, so I rebooted my phone into the bootloader and entered the commands:

fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
It has not worked for me, as I get the "Preflash validation failed" error, but it could work for you

Maybe you need to flash vbmeta.img before first boot. Or try another GSI (verify using Treble Info app to know which variant you need)

You need to flash the patched kernel;
1. Run multidisabler in TWRP terminal
2. Factory reset via TWRP
3. Reboot to recovery
4. ADB Push the kernel or use the sd card and flash it.
5. Boom, you can boot now.
