Is there any way to unlock bootloader of redmi note 7 pro without needing to backup and restore data, without losing data?
No
I read somewhere over boot in recovery.img over adb, not flash and make a backup.

Is there an official backup I can make of my current installation without installing custom recovery ?
I want to try out Android P but I don't want to root or do anything with my phone. Not even unlock boot loader before I do backup. Any way to backup phone in my current state and then enable OEM unlock, unlock boot-loader and install custom recovery. Cause I am positive I'll use if for about 20 mins and then go back to my stable 8.1
Catch 22
You'll need to unlock your bootloader which will wipe your data partition so sadly I don't think it's easily possible.
To be able to take backups and restore you will need a custom recovery, be already root and have an unlock bootloader

I upgraded to the Note 20 ultra and I want to relock my OnePlus 8 5G bootloader for resale. I did unlock the sim as it was originally for TMobile. But when I recently relocked the bootloader it basically was soft bricked, and wouldn't boot past some weird error message about something corrupt. When I unlocked the bootloader again that message went away and it booted fine. One issue is that it won't take an ota it keeps failing to even download. I've tried many times. Not sure what's up with it, but if there is a way to relock the bootloader and have it boot and update the ota I'd be much appreciative.

follow these steps:
1. backup your persist.img file
2. use unbrick tool to recover the phone to an orignal version
3. upgrade to the newest version through OTA
4a. if the fingerprint works, it works all done.
4b. if the fingerprint sensor is abnormal, unlock your phone and flash persist.img, then relock your phone. There will be a series of wiping data during your lock/unlock operation.
I have a redmi note 5 pro (whyred) device which is stuck at mi logo. I cannot go into recovery mode, but am able to enter fastboot mode. The device is locked and its usb debugging is also not enabled. So when I try to flash boot.img it says I need to unlock bootloader first. When I try to unlock bootloader, token error is shown. Any solutions to be able to get device files? Or at least to fix the device wiping it?
Thanks in advance!

I have a SM-A530W running Android 9 but is unrooted with a locked bootloader. I want to make as complete backup of the phone as possible, preferably using DD so I get a byte for byte image. Using OEM Unlock will wipe the device, so is there any way to flash a custom recovery or root the phone without wiping it? Or is there a way to get a full image of the device without root? I have full access to the phone with the PIN code and google account password.
I've a Samsung Galaxy A30s with OneUI 3.1 and I'm intended to unlocking it's bootloader so I could root it and modifying it's system configuration to allow DMG output
But I don't want to erasing my data since I can't backup all of them
Is there's any way to unlocking it's bootloader without erasing the data?
Removing the OEM lock must reset the phone and delete user data.
It also permanently removes the KNOX protection.
You can transfer Your data using Smart Switch or adb.
