I would like change my oxygen version from international (AA) to european (BA). How to do this without root? I download OnePlus7ProOxygen_21.E.20_OTA_020_all_1909172050_2ce34409 and try install from options - system - system update - local update but it informs that an older version cannot be updated.
How to make clean installation?
What region are you based and using the device, the switch can be made with the full rom but it may require a wipe so please take a backup before you proceed.

Hi all, I've an mt7-l09v100r001c00b145. As I remember with patched firmware with cwm and open bootloader for root. So a update to the OTA version MT7-L09_WestEurope_C900B331 fail.
I tried to to a restore of a full TWRP backup from this sources: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/huawei-mt7-l09-l10-stock-firmware-ota-t3275784
But both B571 ( Europe ) ---> https://mega.nz/#!5ZoTTL7C!ysPX6UVlG...9hjVJU0XJa_5f4 and B571 ( Europe - non root all stock ) ---> https://mega.nz/#!kdxF3CjJ!aHDP9WHaq...x5u9ID_nAf7NW0 could be restored, but phone will not boot.
So I need a strategy ideally to go back to stock boot loader and recovery, to update the OTA updates and at least with ROOT feature. Ideally a update strategy, to save all application settings.
If this is not available, I would like to do a force update of a FULL working rom. But need hints for the correct strategy.
Best thanks!

You can look this site over and see if its useful. I've used it a few times going back and fourth back on b522 just going to keep it there. http://www.carbontesla.com/firmware...collection/huawei-ascend-mate-7-firmware-ota/ It's all Huawei firmware all stock.
thanks for hints... I was able with the image MT7-L09_V100R001C00B145, to overwrite the existing version with and overwrite of the boot and recovery extracted from this image. And also update to the latest build with phone update tools.
Had to reset, will set up now the phone...
Here is a Hint, how you can overwrite Up and Down from Any version to Stock: http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/m...en-boot-loader-und-root.796457/#post-10051801
Hello, some time ago I rooted my device and installed a custom ROM. But since I've learned about the app GravityBox and it's functionalities, I've been wishing to go back to my device's original firmware, so I can use the app without fearing malfunctions. But I don't want to lose root access, nor TWRP during the process.
Back when I rooted my device, I found out that the latest versions don't have the option to allow bootloader disabling. I had some difficulties, but in the end I rooted the device by downgrading the firmware to a certain version that still had the option.
Now I've already downloaded the oldest firmware version available in Asus Zenfone Go Bios and Firmwares Official Page - which has the bootloader option - and passed it to the SD Card (same I had to do to install the Custom ROM). But that's about it, I haven't proceded any further for not knowing for sure what to do.
Device's info:
- Zenfone Go - ZC500TG/Z00VD
- Original Android version: 5.1 - Lollipop
- Current Mod ROM: Android 7.1.1 - Nougat
- Rooted
- SuperSU
- TWRP
- Xposed Framework
guys , i have a question,
i got a one plys 8t cyberpunk 2077 , i flashed the device to oxygen os from hydrogen os
but i am thinking to go root, for a few small things
ad away
cyberpunk theme
but thing is how do i stay up to date with updates for this device, and is it complicated to update the device when rooted ?
I am rooted on KB2007
When the OTA appears it fails to update but i know it is there.
I uninstall magisk(restore images)
reboot
take OTA
reboot
ReRoot
takes about 15 mins altogether and there may be more efficient methods but this works for me.
what @parakleet says is the way to do it if you use Global/International version of OOS.
If you flash indian or EU version. (I recommend EU version). Oneplus will provide full OTA zips instead of only incremental.
Then you only need to update normally (or use Oyxygen Updater app (3rd party) to get it quicker).
Then you only need to do these steps
*Update with full OTA zip (will be done automaticly)
*BEFORE REBOOT!! Open magisk manager and chose "Install to inactive slot"
*Reboot
Then you are rooted and updated. For global rom they don't supply the full OTA zips only incremental so you need to go through the uninstall magisk and remove root steps first each time.

Oneplus 8T (Cyberpunk Edition)
I received a Oneplus 8t (Cyberpunk Edition). The phone was supposed to have HydrogenOS as it is a Chinese phone. However, the vendor installed Global OxygenOS (KB05AA). After OTA updates, the phone wouldn't reboot and would get stuck on the...

As the title says , I've OnePlus 8T KB2000. Currently I'm using the international global version of Oxygen OS (KB05AA). Can I change it to Indian variant?
Yes you can. Easiest way is to flash a full indian OTA package through the local update function in system updater. That should work as long as indian OTA have the same or higher version number compared to your currently installed global version.
If that don't work you can always extract the partitions from the payload.bin in the indian OTA zip and flash through fastboot. Following this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-unbrick-or-restore-to-oos-using-only-fastboot.4289013/
I am on Android V 9.0 /OOS 9.0.2. I am wanting to flash /e/ and it seems I need to be on the recent Android version as the instructions say "please ensure that the device is on the latest Android Stock firmware same as the version of the /e/OS you are planning to install."
When I run System update it says my updates are current. How do I update Android to a current version?
I am a user so please keep things as simle and as non-tech as possible. Thanks

just in case someone is in the same situation as you, you just need to update to OOS 9.0.9, you can do that by downloading the update package and installing it through local update option, once you are on that specific version you'll get an update notification for 11.1.2.2
Is there any way to update oos 10 to 11 only on slot A? As i understand when i am updating with the stock update app it switches slots after the update, but i have Windows 11 installed on the slot B
