Big problem with MIUI 11 beta on mi mix 3 - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers

hello, I have a big problem with my device after flash miui 11 beta (xiaomi.eu)
In miui 10 there is an option for change the resolution of the screen "change resolution" 720p or 1080p.
Before flash miui 11 I have the screen setting on 720p, after flash I see that in miui 11 there isn't "change resolution" so now I have my phone block on 720p. There are solution? Can i roll back from 11 to 10 without problem?

you will prob bootloop if you do just data format(this will delete everything you have)and then flash miui 11 after you change the res. how do you know its on 720?

because i see all in bad resolution, if i take a screenshot the resolution of it is 720x1560.
So i must format data my phone and flash miui 10, change resolution 1080p and flash again miui 11?

Try without format data first just flash the last Miui 10 and if you bootloop then just format data

You could edit the build.prop

Can switch between Anti 4 roms
Basically the video explains how you can install miui 9 (9.5.19) which is an anti 4 rom, using the updater app, from miui 10(8.7.12) which is also an anti 4 rom.
The older roms are anti 3 roms, hence they can't be installed without a hard brick.
So if you're on an Anti 4 rom, you can only install anti 4 roms, but not Anti 3.
How bout if we downgrade via TWRP is it safe??
yep safe

[MOD][ROOT] Overclock your screen to 66HZ-72hz-75hz-84HZ in MIUI Android P

Use it at your own risk! (Don't flash it on any Q ROMs)The dtbo.img is extracted from the Chinese version of miui 9.8.15,so you better use version 9.8.15 or later,.Some people use 84hz not smooth,75hz is the best option, but i used 84hz and it's perfect for me! so what are you waiting for? this zip include 66hz-72hz-75hz-84hz
-Download the attached zip, unzip it
-Open TWRP
-Backup your dtbo partition
-Select the corresponding dtboxx.img, choose the dtbo partition, the flash it
-Reboot
You should see the changes immediately after the restart. It's way smoother than before.
If you want to go back to default, restore your dtbo partition backup or flash the dtbo60

72 hz is actually working on the latest mui 12 beta.
But I noticed that there is something less beautiful in the color of the screen.
It's less colorful and more "white" I don't know how to describe.
So I don't recommend to use this mod, u will lose some quality on your screen

The only working very well for me is the 84hz... others lag.
but twrp will freeze whatever the version you chose. better to stay in 60hz or flash 84hz if you want but keep in mind that if you want going to twrp you must go to bootloader and flash your original dtbo.img

What rom you have?
84mhz works on Android q? I have xiaomi.eu 9.11.28
72hz is working perfectly with the latest Pixel Experience Android 10, the highers aren't.
I think you need to disable the screensaver, otherwise the phone turns off once you lock it

No idea, I believe OP extracted the DTBO file from the official ROM and editted it in order to overclock the screen, something tells me it's not hard, but personally I've got no idea how to do it so props to him
Using GSIs means you're using your stock DTBO, so theorically, it should just work

Flashing & Booting Android 11 Beta 1 GSI (Pixel)

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well. I've been wanting to try the Android R Beta 1 GSI (by Erfan) on our OnePlus 6. However, the ROM did go bast the splash screen only to get stuck on boot animation. I think there's some issue with the vendor/boot/vbmeta. I am using OOS 10.3.3 files to do this.
If anyone could help here, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Sohail

Did you resize the partrition before flashing R beta??.i tried one with PD2 but the pin ran out quickly,on PD3 that did not have signal
You should back to Android 10.and wait for oneplus 6 update to Android 11
Hey, I booted R B1 port by Erfan on my 6T, here's the process:
I flashed Lineage OS on both slots (I was using OOS 10.3.2 as base), wiped everything except vendor, and then I flashed the R img on both slots using TWRP + the permissiver zip.
FOD doesn't work of course (Maybe OP6 users have a little bit more luck and the capacitive sensor works, who knows)
Camera works (Tested with Gcam MJL, stock cam crashes)
Brightness is broken (Stuck at max level)
Flashlight doesn't work
Sound works
RIL works
Performance is horrible, lags and freezes everywhere

Android 11 beta 2.5 released (display hz fix)

Google dropped an incremental update to address the whole display flicker issue as well as a few other smaller issues. I'm running it now and can confirm its a night and day difference as far as the display. Using the refresh rate overlay, you can see it stays at 90hz indefinitely while the smooth display option is toggled. They didn't just add back the force 90hz display option like I was hoping but this achieved the same result so I won't complain.

All good here. Notifications are functioning.
Any idea if flashing this new version will allow me to have face unlocked back on Android 10? No luck with using the magisk module

Did you update from Android 11 Beta 2.0, or did you go straight from 10 to 11 2.5?
I did flash-all without the -w, then used magisk canary, updated to the latest, and flashed the patched boot.img, and it still boot loops for me. It says there's no valid boot slot. Which options did you use in Magisk when creating the patched boot img?

The smooth display setting does not fix the refresh rate at 90Hz in low light conditions.
You can achieve the same result like the force 90Hz from developer options with the following adb command:
adb shell settings put system min_refresh_rate 90.0
After this, toggling the smooth display setting will have no effect. The display refresh rate will always be 90Hz.
To disable it again do the following:
adb shell settings delete system min_refresh_rate

It depends how you "broke" face unlock. If it broke from updating to and older Android 11 beta then going back to Q, then yes it should fix that. If it broke due to corrupting your Persist.img then no, the only way to fix that is to have a backup of your Persist from when it was good and manually restoring the old persist.img.
I flashed the incremental 2.5 update and face lock did not work. I then downloaded Android 10 July and that brought everything back to normal as it should. I tried this numerous times before the incremental update to no avail. I'm so glad that they fixed it!
Update:
SDK Platform-Tools: r30.0.4

Poco x3 nfc camera long video time fix miui mint android 11 any help plz

I have problem time vido long and use gcam is no sound in video
I also have the same issue but can't find any fix for this. I already factory reset and flash the latest ROM but the same issue persist.
