I ordered this one from ali:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33008737331.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4deVXGhA
And no luck, just tried it, and my k20 pro (andoird 10) says only "Fast charging" as the original 18w charge that came with him out the box. I askin the dude right now and waiting for response.
Maybe you can help me find another one, also explain to me why this one is failing or the seller is just a fiasgo?!

You can keep using the 18watt charger, not much difference in charging times..

Yes , If you are using the official MIUI 10, it will display “Charge Turbo” in the center of the screen, indicating that you are using 27W fast charging.

Don't know what you are talking about. It slows down right and it won't charge all the time with full power but whole charging process is faster lol. Where is the sense of 27w charger if it's the same as 18w?

Mine can't go higher than 4.2A it seems.
With a oneplus dash cable it charges with 4.7-4.8A

thats weird. I haven't seen anything higher than 4.2A with the original cable yet. But I did see 4.8 with a oneplus one.
edit: nevermind. I think my capacity was too high already when I test it last time. Now it is charging with 4.7A
edit2: or not.. when I've reached like 30% it drops down to 4A, but on your screenshot it still charges with 4600 at 45%?
something seems wrong with my cable/charger.

I don't get it.. mine is definitely slower at this capacity. What I've also noticed, is that I have to reboot my phone at least once to get rapid charging working. That isn't normal either, is it?
E.g my Mi 9 is powered on --> I plug the charger in --> Ampere says it charges with max 2A even though it says "charging rapidly" on the lockscreen. --> then I reboot and only then it is actually rapid charging with [email protected]% at first, then later on it will drop while the temps are even lower than on your screenshot
Why does it say Pixel 2 as device on your screenshot though? Is your current ROM the unofficial LOS 17 Port By abhishek987?

hi, someone know if this charger is working with nexus 4?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/QI-Wireless...l_Phone_PDA_Chargers&var=&hash=item3f3363ba76
I have the orange and black one, you just need a charger that states its qi standard or complies with it.
Mine doesnt charge at as it gets warm (tickle charge), the temp sensor must stop it charging, this is the second ebay qi that has done it,looking into a offical one instead
I have black+black one and it works just fine with original nexus 4 adapter. You gotta put the phone on the exact location to prevent heating and "tickle charge". If I do it right, phone get charged kinda fast, not as fast as with wall charger but faster than with USB. I bought it from here. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Black-Portable-Ultra-Slim-Qi-Receiver-Adapter-Wireless-Charger-Charging-Pad-for-Lumia-920-Nexus-4/1502839948.html
I also got one. It works fine with N4. I am using original wall charger.

Just received one of these today! Seems to work pretty well - you know when you've positioned it correctly because you get audio feedback. Seems to charge OK, looking at the battery graph.
On the back of the box in the specs, it says "conversion 72%". I guess that means you lose 28% of its charging potential via wireless, compared to wired?
Still, it feels fast, and does its job.

Just tested the three 10ft cables I have and they all work, as well as every other cable I tried. Its the adapter that does the charging. Two 10ft came from a convenience store, and one from Big Lots. also the short cables that came with various backup batteries work. Now if i could find a fast charge capable backup battery.
EDIT: After actually leaving one of the 10ft cables hooked to my phone, It does not fast charge it. The popup comes up, but after almost an hour the battery has only risen like 5%. I will actually have to thoroughly test the other cords over the next few days. But still, the adapter does the charging, I guess the resistance of the wire comes into play, cause the stock cable is way thicker than any other cable i have except for 2 short ones.
Is that one linked thick too, if it really does work with fast charging, I will buy it, but it looks just like the ones I have.
EDIT 2:unplugged it and plugged the other one in and the phone has risen 25% in 30 min, so I am at a loss.

Correct. It's the adapter that enables the fast charging when used with a phone that supports it. Any decent cable should work with it.
Yeah, and I have found out not all cables are made equal, the resistance on one cable was higher than the other of the same brand, the higher resistance one does not fast charge it even though it pops up.
Longer cables will almost always yield slower charge times. I have yet to find a cable that puts through as much power as stock cable. Anyone know where to get those?

It is not only the length of the cable but the thickness of the cable. You also need to be aware which most of you are that some cables are for charging only. The charging only cables will not for for 'fast charge' from my experience
I use this 15' cable every day to charge, fast charging works great.

Is there any official QC 3 charger for Mi Max available in india ? or something from other mainstream phone manufacturers that could be used with Mi Max ?
I am using my old Galaxy Note 4 charging brick with the Mi Max cable included in the box and charging speed is great on both official MIUI ROM or Validus ROM, 2360 mAh
I've been using an Aukrey Qualcomm 3.0 Quick Charger with my mi max; charges it up from 2℅ to 100℅ within 25-30 minutes, which is quite impressive regarding the fact that it bears one of the largest batteries(4850mAh) in the smartphone market.
So, you should opt for this particular one........i guess?
I got Tronsmart and its working great, and it was listed in Qualcomm pdf.
I read about that quick charge 2.0 charges as fast as quick charge 3.0 , the difference is that QC 3.0 allows wider selection of voltages , so the main difference is not speed but compatibility . Does someone using QC 2.0 and what times do you get from 1-2% to 100% ? In my town there is only QC 2.0 on store and i dont want to order online and wait weeks

any battery pack with PD is compatible with OP6
i use Cygnett TYPE-C 20,000 MAH battery pack for my 5T and use PD and it outputs 45w
Tronsmart 20000mAh QC 3.0 Portable Charger with 6A Output,USB Type C External Battery for Samsung Galaxy S8 S8+/Nexus 6p/ Huawei Mate 9/Pixel 2/2 XL

Edit: The Tronsmart isn't for sale anymore sadly and the Cygnett is about 4x the price of other battery packs.

But for OP, you can use almost any powerbank. Only the output speed is difference. There isnt any powerbank which support dash charge so you wont get "fast charge" speeds. But you can get regular 2.4A speed. So no fast charge but yes regular charge.

I'm using the same that I used with my Xperia Z3 and with my Oneplus 3 too... Anker Powercore 20100mAh
I have bought this Dash Charge powerbank back when I had my oneplus 3t and it works fine one my oneplus 6 too !
Link: https://www.amazon.com/Sdoutech-10000-Portable-Charge-Oneplus/dp/B078K8TZQ1
This powerbank supports Oppo's VOOC charging which is basically the same as DashCharge and I am happy with it!
Downsides: you can't Dash charge the powerbank and you need to use the original OnePlus red charging cable to get Dash Charge working.
For users that can get that item shipped to their country like me (Germany) I contacted the seller by email and he shipped me one by Paypal Invoice; his email is [email protected] .
Can anyone help in understanding why fast charging on violet(Redmi Note 7 Pro) can go only as high as 13W on a fast charger?...I'm using the 27W sonic charger from MI and I have havoc os installed as my custom ROM, I've also flashed Ryzen Kernel( as I saw that it was the only Kernel that enabled 3A fast charging), but the voltage never goes any higher than 4.4V!, I've never been able to even get close to 18W!!, is it a USB C o/p power delivery limit or can we actually enable fast charging with higher voltages?

It's supposed to support 27watt charging as far as I know. Never seen any difference between a 18 watt and 27 watt charger. There must be something else making it impossible. Maybe a battery limitation?

If you use havoc os or any custom rom with battery status enabled, it shows you the current and voltage rating at which it is being charged, and if you multiply then you get the wattage at which your phone charges, I get 4.4V/3A while charging which amounts to 4.4 × 3 = 13.2W which is miles away from 18W/27W, I want to know why?

a single cell battery on a phone can't charge at 30v. The way most quick charging works is either by increasing the voltage of the battery, adding another cell, or more amps.
Also, some electricity is converted into heat instead of a useable charge. I don't see how the phone could even achieve 18watts (9v 2amps) since the battery isn't even a 9v battery.
With Tesla's "Inventions" we would have all devices fully charged "everywhere", everytime.
