when the play store is updated. Your customized settings are being reset because google believes that we need those updates.
After installing the vanced yt, go to playstore, go to youtube, click on 3 dots top right and disable auto-update
Pls give link of YouTube vanced

I heard that some are facing issues like bootlooping on android 10 while modifying system apps.
I heard that Google made some changes in android 10 that prevents tampering with system apps.
Apps that manually uninstall them do that, I managed to get rid of a lot of gapps including YouTube with tweaks/ROMs like NoLimits

You don't need to uninstall youtube if you want to install youtube mod (youtube vanced), i suggest you to check the instructions properly
Even if youtube vanced is not working on open beta 1 (don't know on oxygen OS 10), this is one of the reasons why i've stayed with 7T porting from ProtoDevNan0
I've heard that deleting apps from TWRP works. Mount /system and use the filemanager in TWRP.
im pretty sure when you mean 'mod' youtube, you mean youtube vanced. You don't fully uninstall youtube in order to use vanced. You only need to uninstall the youtube updates to properly use youtube vanced. But since we're on the topic of uninstalling sys-apps and getting into bootloops, i haven't dealt with that at the moment so this is new to me to say the least.

are you using magisk canary channel?
You can now play YouTube in background, floating window and during Lockscreen.
Above all, it was tweaked with Vanced YouTube so no Ads and you don't have to
Root for it. Color OS 6.1 was quite stubborn because of YouTube already installed
As a system app and can't be disabled but we found a way.
WATCH NOW! HOW TO PLAY YOUTUBE BACKGROUND AND LOCKSCREEN PLAYBACK IN REALME X2 WITHOUT Root - No Ads
If you enjoy it please share because I think it will help others with stock Color OS Even in OPPO phones.
I solved it by simply uninstalling youtube via adb and installing vanced and microg

connect your phone to pc with file transfer and usb debugging mode activated in the developer options.
download the file indicated and unzip it in a folder, open it from the menu open with, java platform, (you need to have java installed on your pc ...).
The tool allows you to uninstall system apps or simply deactivate them in order to reactivate them if you regret having done so ...

PLEASE HELP! I cannot install the first Google Play Services app downloaded from the link after I uninstalled existing Google Play Services app. Installation of Google Play Services always failed because (it says) my device has newer version even after I uninstalled it.
Now my device does not have Google Play Services but I can't install the version downloaded from the link.
My phone suddenly gave me tge play protect cerification error and could not access playstore, youtube, google maps, chrome,... Etc.
However, i tried the googlifier method and i have everything working fine yet the google play services is not updated and thus Android auto does not work and requires me to update Google play services and when i did i got the certification error again.
Any solution?
Problem solved finally.

It worked, thank you very much.
Had to do it today too, but I skipped all the app activities, just uninstalled the Google Play services, and installed the older one, posted in this thread.
Worked like a charm.
I can open again Google apps without error messages, but Android Auto still does not work, because the fixed installed Google play services is an older version. Any solution for Android Auto?
I have tried a few options out there, however despite un-installing the GPS when I go to install the 1st pkg it returns with a message to say I already have a 'newer' version installed.
I have rebooted the phone to see if that would clear it however nothing.
Force stop GPS & clear Data before uninstall. Afterwards, install the GPS fix from the video link. It should work.

Unfortunately having un-installed GPS already I do not have the option to do the above. Tried downloading the same version via APK however that is also noting that I am using the latest version.

Managed to find a workaround for Android Auto. I've installed Virtual Android from Google Play, I've installed latest Google services & Android Auto on it and it works perfectly

Yeah this is the same problem from years. Push notifications are broken with these kind of method.
Is this method working? I can't downgrade and I feel bad about my fiancée for recommending this camera phone to her. I would like to find a way to allow you to use at least contacts and mail. Can you help me?
