Which model Mi Mix 3 do I have? - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers

After a bit of searching I'm still none the wiser....
My phone shows a "Model name" of M1810E5A. Does that mean it's Chinese, Global, European or...other?
Thanks,
Steve

That matches mine. I have 8/256 Chinese model.

FRD-L19 (europe version 64gb) where can I buy?

Hi,
Does anyone know where can I buy this model FRD-L19?
I have seen this model in vmall store in Malaysia, but not in Europe.
This version supports LTE Band20 (800mhz) and has 64 GB internal storage too.
Does any have it?
I'm looking for it around the world.

@Rostro.Palido
The 32GB FRD-L09 also supports band 20.
Yes.that's right, but 32GB is not enough for me. I need to find the 64GB european model. I don't find any store selling this model FRD-L19

Iaa85 the model in Pcdiga is FRD-L09 (32 GB), not the FRD-L19 (64GB),both for europe). The european model supports LTE band 20(800 mhz)

Marek, could you confirm the model in your Huawei Honor 8 in the settings. The 64gb model for europe should be FRD-L19. I can't read the concrete model in the alzashop website. I'm not sure about that model in alzashop. Do you have the gold phone?

Honor 8/FRD-L19
Hi, I can confirm that. I have the 64GB/4GB, gold version, FRD-L19, Kirin 950, this phone is DSFA.
Hi,

Buying honor 8 from china

Hi! I am thinking about buying honor 8 from aliexpress. Do you think it is safe, and will i get OTA updates, i live in Europe and would like the international version? If i get the chinese honor 8, is it possible for me to flash it to european ROM?
I cant post link to it, but if you search for "honor 8" on aliexpress you can see different vendors selling it and claiming international ROM.
Regards, pokemeister
I don't have much idea about Huawei from AliExpress but my friend bought Xiaomi also I use AliExpress a lot and it's totally safe. My friend said he was needed to pay import tax in Bangaldesh(idk about Europe). I also heard if anything goes wrong with the phone then he needs to pay for the shipping to give it back to china and also it may take months to get back. Anyways the phone was working PERFECTLY and it was cheaper than usual. And if the seller says international version and he sends a local one, you can just open a dispute and AliExpress will return all your money back. Also you can rebrand it if you want to.
If you Get the Dl00 version it is not suitable for ROMS ,because the network wont work.
Make sure to check the seller ratings
That is not a good idea. As the EU version of the Honor 8 actually runs on slightly different but very similar hardware to the Chinese version.

Just a simple step to include , surdu while building the ROMs once asked for some file info to support the ROM , lets see i mentioned xepeleato to add , hope they add it fast so many people waiting..
I have the honor 8 chinese version AL00. I buyed in AliExpress and let me tell you its totally safe.
About to Flash to an european rom, I saw in some pages where they say it Is a complicated process, but hey, isnt bad at all, only for a few chinese apps and you will need to install the gapps
You must check the 4g bands. The AL00 has the band 4, that band I need in my country

Thisnis what I thought.
The chinese apps can be disabled with adb commands.
When I received the phone, came with Android marshmallow but that same day updates to Nougat

Go for FRD-AL00. I had it nearly for 1 year now. It's first in the row as far as updates are concerned, I'm on 391 from yesterday. It's working fine in Europe (skipping LTE 800 which is not a big deal). It perfectly covers Indian LTE too, I've been there recently.
There is no need to flash the EU rom, I wouldn't recommed it. You gain nothing, loose plenty (call recording, international bands...) and unnecessary risk a lot. Just install needed gapps (Play, Services, Framework, Partner setup...), select desired theme and you are good to go. You'll feel no difference from EU rom, just enhanced functionality.
Thank you guys, really appricate it! I contacted the sellers on Ali, and the honor 8's are AL00 and AL10 (32/64gb chineese version), but he could flash it to frd-l19 for international customers. Should i rather ask him to keep the original al00 firmvare or let him flash it to al19 (european)?

When I buyed my phone I was afraid they would install the european rom, because I dont know how they install the rom. I asked them leave the original rom. The diference between a chinese rom and am european rom is the chinese doesnt have the gapps and came with some chinese apps. Some chinese apps can be uninstalled others can be deactivated with adb commands.
In the chinese rom, you can hide the navigation bar. In the european you cant

well, lets see... there are several models to consider.
L29 / L09 are the international versions with dual or single sim, respectively.
then we have AL10, TL00, CL00, DL00, the chinese variants of the mate 8.
then there are regional subsections of these models, contained in the software version, i.e. L29C185 for middle east, L29C432 for europe, C636 for asia etc., the C being the so called "cust" or regional code.
good thing about all this: every version can be bootloader unlocked and can be reprogrammed or "debranded" to any other version (aside from dual vs sim slot, cant change that, obviously )
if u prefer not to mess around with debranding, it depends on your preferences which version you should get:
L29/L09 international versions come with google services and apps preinstalled, whereas the chinese variants dont have those. so ull have to manually install them. in general, official rom updates come to the chinese models first, followed by the international phones. note that some regional custs basically dont get any updates whatsoever, so best to stick to one of the major custs (like europe, middle east, asia, etc vs. south africa, chile or smth. the larger the region, the better).

right. my bad, its so confusing you know when you first start to research new company so many models, ans specially xiaomi so confusing.. mi max2 its way too big. but nice battery. am leaning towards redmi note5 china.

Is there a way to reliably identify the Global from the CN versions?

The tittle says it pretty much all. For context, i am getting a so-called Global Version of the Mix 2S in a copule days, but i have my suspicions that what i may receive is a China Mainland unit.
Is there a way to know what version of the hardware do i have? since now there is the possibility of flashing the global firmware into the CN model, just looking at what is installed won't do. And there is not an option to enter engineering mode in recent snapdragon devices so one cannot check the built in bands either.
The packaging for the global model is in English and says "global version".

Regulatory Labels for UK OnePlus 7 Pro?

Hello,
A little help please. I purchased a new OnePlus 7 Pro on eBay described as UK model.
The model number is GM1913, which is correct. However, clicking on the Regulatory Labels, it shows Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Also the build number is GM21AA, which is the international version instead the EU build of GM21BA.
Would someone with an OnePlus 7 Pro purchased directly from Oneaplus kindly check to see what their Regulatory Labels says please?
Many thanks.
Mine bought on Amazon.
I tried the DP4Q and when doing PIE rollback, i think, it leaves the AA version even if it was previously BA

Hi,
I just updated from oficial 9.5.11 to open beta 3 (OnePlus7ProOxygen_13.W.11_OTA_011_all_1910081744_04ab29a18f344955.zip downloaded fome oneplus site).
I'm not sure what was before update (->settings->about phone->regulatory labels) - I think it was "GM1913" nothing else- but now I also have "Model GM1913 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia CITC (TA2019-962)".
As I'm living in Germany I don't understand.
Does that matter?
If yes: what?
One more question: is OB 3 the same as 10.0.1?
Hi,
I was on the beta 1, 2 and 3 build, they all had Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Regulatory Labels.
I think there is only one international AA build for beta, since we in Europe are on the BA build, so don't get Regulatory Labels. Did not notice any difference in cellular connection and speed
The beta got newer features than stable, but may have more bugs. I have moved back to BA 10.0.1 stable when it was available to download from OnePlus website 2 days ago, don't notice much difference.
