installing a newer version of andriod on my Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (GT-p6200) goes wrong - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

I try to install a newer version of andriod on my Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (GT-p6200)
tried it with differend Odin versions, but did not react at all, althrough the tabled is added.
So i installed CWM recovery v6.0.1.0 and with this option when i enable Signature check he begins to opening updat pack, but at 1 third of the blue beam he stops with the process with zip file i take every time the same.
i have a orginal dutch one: "P6200XXLQ3_P6200PHNLQ2_P6200XXLQ1_HOME.tar.md5" fron sammobile
Now i can even switch off the tablet anymore, Odin does not connect anymore and i cannot start the tabled in user mode.
It is almost dead
Is there some hope to bring this one alive? i thougt i take the old one ony to use for my wife to listen for spotify,
Hope someone have a good idea? rather tham trow the tablet in the trashbin

[Q] {HELP} samsung galaxy mini bootloop(?) how to fix

Hello !
as the title says
i have a samsung galaxy mini
i tried to put cyanogen mod 7.2 on it (first rooted it ofc)
in recovery i installed the mod then when it reboots the screen stays black and a little font at the right says android (not the shiny animation thing)
just android normally written and i kept it over an hour like that and nothing ..
i swept data and cach a million times and also tried to install other roms but nothing seems to work
i can connect the phone to pc and it recognizes it but i can do nothing with it (on kies it keeps connecting)
so how can i fix this problem?
i hope i dont need to do the usb fix cus i dont wanna give money away and wait :/
i hope there is a fix for this
[edit]
i also want to add i can put my phone in download mode
i understand that there is a fix with odin then?
can some1 explain what i have to do? (i also dont find the firmware anywhere to download)
thank you for your time
friendly greetings

I think I bricked my son's tablet!

Crap!!! I hope someone can help me. I was trying to upgrade my son's tablet using odin and a stock 4.04 rom from here :Samsung P5100 / P5110 / P5113 Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Complete Stock Firmware. The first one for the P5113.
Anyway, everything seemed to be going okay following the directions and then a failed came up in the first box in odin was red. I repeated it and it appeared to be stuck. The tablet was in download mode and the blue line had only progressed about a quarter inch. I heard the usb disconnect and reconnect sound and I tried to initiate it through odin again but the tablet wasn't responding. I stupidly on plugged the tablet and tried to power it down. Now I can't do anything. Can't get into recovery or download mode. The tablet is stuck on the screen and has this message with a picture of a tablet then a yellow triangle and a computer. Here is the message: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. Kies won't recognize the tablet and when I click on emergency firmare recovery it just asks for PC code. I am stumped. I am not familiar with Samsung at all. Also, the message on the screen won't disappear. If I hold down power it won't turn off, the screen will go black and then the message will come right back so I'm afraid the battery will be dead soon and then I will be totally out of luck.
The tablet is a wifi only P5113 Tab 2 10.1.

Not your device but its should be similar. Hope it works for you.
No luck so far, is there no way to get past this screen?
Not that I know of to be honest, You need to get into download/recovery .... Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable will come up with something !
How old is the tab ?
EDIT :
Will ODIN connect ... When you get that firmware error screen ?

No nothing, windows does recognize it and will install the driver. But Odin doesn't show anything happening and Kies just shows connecting. When you select emergency recovery in Kies it will stop trying to connect and bring up a dialog box asking for a recovery code. Apparently if the failure would have happened during a legit upgrade using Kies it would have generated an error code for recovery. Is there no way to repair this? Thought Samsung devices were suppose to be so easy to customize? Please help my son is pretty pissed.

Update!!!
I was able to get odin to connect to tablet and I got cwm recovery installed so it no longer boots to the failed firmware screen and I can get into recovery. My question is which firmware do I install?? The tablet is a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113 wifi only. Is the P5113UEBLH3 firmware the correct one? It says it was provided by Cellular South which confuses me since the tablet is wifi only.
Update 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Success!!! Got into download mode and was able to load the stock 4.04 firmware and life is good again. Thanks to all that helped.
One thing. Always update your table with OTA or Kies. ODIN breaks the warrantie

I bricked my device from Odin while trying to revert from a CM10.1 nightly to stock JB. Device picked up in Odin, but would not flash... unless I reboot the device after I clicked start in Odin. Dunno why, but it loaded stock firmware on the error screen... don' ask me how...
I have experienced this. Run ODIN, then connect your devices to the computer. When ODIN detect it, unplug and then replug your device. When ODIN back detect it then flash.
Recent versions of Odin work the other way around. First plug then open. Older like <1.87, first you open the program then you plug device. Glad it got solved.

I have also hit this screen several times while playing with roms, this is a fairly common example of "softbrick". Fortunately for me, Odin had no problems connecting, and then simply flashed an oem rom. I have not been able to hard brick this thing, which is a huge surprise considering all the flashing I've done. Frankly I'm surprised it hasn't blown up like an iraqi IED yet lol!
This is a good thing! It means that Samsung built in a good failsafe. It just means you hosed your rom install all the way down to the bootloader. Easy to recover from
Glad ya learned to fix it!

Hi, my problem is identical. I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 and after a failed update with Odin the message was:Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. I try again with Odin and nothing. I used Kies, and nothing. Then i saw a reference to the md5 philz_touch_5.03.7-p5110.tar.md5 and i use it with Odin. Sucess but the message was RESET. Everithing disappeared from screen except the battery logo. The tablet is always on and with that image. The volume buttons and power don't work and it is not detected.
I'm affraid the thing is bad.
Can you help? Thank you.

After I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" using prerooted.tar.md5, I had the same issue. The screen kept flickering and now I want to unroot to go back to the original manufacturing setting. I just flashed this firmware and it restored to the original condition except the flickering problem still exists. Please help.
unbrick my galaxy tab 3 10.1 P5200
First I greatly appreciate this forum; you may actually be able to help - - - -
Apparently I may have turned my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5200 into a brick; my battery was below 50%, and it asked me if I wanted to update my IAP? - -somewhat of a novice in this regards, said yes, immediately asked me to connect my charger, after I did the power was not charging and continued to drop. Now it will not charge at all - - -no battery prompt, no screen, no nothing, went completely dead. My question is how can I restore power to my TAB 3? I have tried most of the suggestions from google sites; and an IT friend of mine indicated this sounds like a firmware issue and I would have to send to manufacture - - -I purchased it 1 1/2 months ago brand new; I LOVE MY GALAXY TAB 3; currently in a war zone and it would take forever to send back and get back; can someone give me some hope on restoring power so I do not have to send back . . .Thanks to all of you, be safe.

product name : GT-N8000
custom binary download : No
current binary : Samsung official
system status : Official
any help please ?
Be more spesific. What was the last thing you've done before that issue?
Btw, maybe it's time to use ODIN and install some rom. There are plenty of "flashing" guides in this forum and on internet. Please feel free to google: "how to flash on n8000 with ODIN". If you have any more trouble, question or something like it feel free to ask. Just be sure you mentioned me in your question so I can now there is a question that asked to me.
Have a nice day.
Edit: I found my answer too hard to understand so here is some hints:
You should search for "how to use odin".
You should download a firmware that corresponds to your tablet. (THIS IS IMPORTANT. IF YOU WON'T BE CAREFUL YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE)
There are plenty of guides that explains how to flash a firmware to a samsung phone. Don't worry, that way is effective for almost every samsung device (except for the new ones) and will be succesfull for your n8000 too!

the tablet is not mine , my niece was using it
it was running good until several days and stopped working
when i go to download mode , it keep restarting for ever
i went to some local shop in my area and they said they can't fix it ( maybe its a hardware issue ? )
If there is a boot loop it is more likely being a software issue but I was wrong before too. So did you tried to flash a rom?

installed kies , but the logo keep running on my desktop
ok , now my niece told me there is some important files and photos on it
how to restore those files without formatting ?
i can't even access to the device , and no microSD card
Just install the firmware. That's the only way you can open up your files with the resources you have. If it's that important, I strongly suggest you to go to a Samsung service and tell them your story. If you want to do it yourself, search for: installing custom recovery, installing rom. When you switch between different roms you don't have to format your data but I can't remember the case with the Odin.

Hi, i have the same problem.
I have a galaxy note 10.1 2013. It originally had ics. I updated my software in the middle of this year.
Today, my tab worked fine, as it usually, does. I placed it in my bag at 5:30 pm after playing and surfing the internet. At 11pm, i took it out and it was a bit hot and it seemed to be stuck at the screen where it says "samsung galaxy note 10.1".
I tried to restart my tab but it still remains stuck in the same screen. When i plugged it in, it shows that im charging. But when i start it up, its still stuck in the same screen.
When i pressed the power button and the volume up button, it gets to this screen which says
Warning!! (Blahblah something about custom os blahblah) volume up: continue volume down: cancel(restart phone)
What do i do? I didnt do anything weird or different today than i would have any other day.
Please, i need your help. Thank you!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 SGH-i497 OS Update Assistance

So basically I recently decided that it would be a BRILLIANT idea to upgrade my tablet to 4.4+ so I could use Pokemon GO on it, but lo and behold I have gotten to the point where I have hit a wall
As the title says, it's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 SGH-i497 that used to run 4.1.4 I believe, and I no longer can get past the boot screen, I can get into Recovery mode and Download mode, and I have a recovery save on Kies but Kies refuses to connect to the tablet in it's state, it just continues to attempt to connect forever.
I guess my question would be this...
Is there an OS that is SGH-i497 compatible that I can attempt to use through ODIN, or alternatively, can someone point out a good recovery file I can use through an SD-Card so I can at least use my tablet again.
I will be monitoring for the next 8 hours before bed to answer any questions and provide any more information that I can, and thank you very very much ahead of time if you can help, I've been combing through forums for the past 3-4 hours and finally decided to make an account to make a post. Hopefully if I can get this resolved, I can help people if they have a similar problem in the future.
Bump
Really hope someone knows something, at this point I honestly just want to get it back to it's normal stock stuff, I can't get it to connect to Kies when it's in download or recovery mode so my recovery files are on there and I don't know why it can't find the recovery files in the external SD card I have.
Bump
I'm screwed huh lol

How about you start by telling us what you did to get to this point?
Have you installed a custom recovery on it?
Have you done any reading on rooting, installing roms etc?
I recently acquired one of these as well, and I have yet to find somewhere definitely that says that custom roms can be used on it.
If you find one, please reply back though!
