I tried to update my Y6pro (bootlooped) with sd card method but it ends up with this message "error invalid partition setting 26"
(using 16Gb Fat32 card)
any solution ?

Hi
My sd card on my Desire has become corrupted. I have a2sd+ on there; I can start from scratch (I accept the risk of installing development ROMs!) but I could really do with getting to the photos I took this morning before the card crashed.
gpart won't find the partitions at all but there's definitely still data on the card - if I strings the card I can see the DOS directory structure.
I used ROM Manager to create a 512MB ext partition with 0MB swap; I tried creating a w95 FAT32 (lba) partition of all the disk except the last 512MB using fdisk, but the partitions won't mount when I do that.
Anyone got an idea what values I should pass to fdisk to get it back?
I have
Disk /dev/sdb: 8017 MB, 8017412096 bytes
247 heads, 62 sectors/track, 1022 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 15314 * 512 = 7840768 bytes
I figured the FAT32 part is probably first, so I calculated the size of a 512MB partition as 65 blocks and assigned the first 956 blocks to the FAT partition, with the rest as the ext partition, but it made no difference.
I tried getting RM to create a partition on a second card I have and when I look at it in fdisk it looks really weird - there's messages about "Partition 1 has different physical/logical beginnings (non-Linux?)" and "Partition 1 does not end on a cylinder boundary"
Is there a way to recreate the partitions that ROM Manager would create without wiping the existing data?
Thanks!
I want to use an app called aparted to partition my internal sdcard. It instructs me to disable the sdcard first by going into the settings>storage>unmount sdcard (I'm sure this would work fine if the Nexus S HAD an external sdcard slot, but it does not.
I tried going into adb shell and typing su,umount /sdcard but I get the error failed: Device or resource busy and that's as far as I can get. Please Advise Thanks
****UPDATE*****
I figured out (for all intents and purposes) the internal sd card cannot be unmounted if the phone is booted normaly.
So I booted to recovery and did
adb shell
parted /dev/block/platform/s3c-sdhci.0/by-name/media
print
Model: Unknown (unknown)
Disk /dev/block/mmcblk0p3: 14.3GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: msdos
Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
1 512B 9000MB 9000MB primary fat32 lba
2 9000MB 13.1GB 4103MB primary ext2
3 13.1GB 14.3GB 1209MB primary
but when i try to mount the internal sd card with say CWM it says error mounting /sdcard
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again
I've just rebooted my phone after creating a new partition table on my external sdcard following this guide.
Now I'm attempting to format the single partition I've created to ext4 but mke2fs says that it can't format mounted filesystem.
I've looked through the output of mount but nowhere does the external sdcard appear.
Also, I'm doing this so I can symlink folders from my external sdcard to the internal sdcard. I've already tried Directory Binder but it does not work on Android Lollipop.
Whenever I run the command to turn my 64GB Sandisk microSD into a mixed storage (adb shell sm partition disk:179_64 mixed 93), it gives me "Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: command '50 volume partition disk:179_64 mixed 93' failed with '400 50 Command failed'", even right after a format, both through Gparted, official SDFormatter and android using CM13 on 6.0.1.
Whenever I boot on slot b it restarts to boot loader and ERROR: LoadImageAndAuth Failed: Load Error message appears. I have tried a full flash with factory image and deuces boot-loop script. I am on Oreo 8.1 opm2.171026.006.g1. Is slot b bootable or is it just for updates ? I also have a ph-1 is the slot system same or a little different ?
